Called to schedule an appointment for newborn. On the phone, they ask insurance type which I provided. Appointment scheduled over the phone and I receive a text stating that I need to submit a copy of the insurance which I do. Appointment confirmed via text. I arrived at the office and they asked if I was paying out of pocket. I said I provided it via text. They said, "we sent you a text stating that we don't accept that insurance." I'm looking at the text, no text ever sent. I said they did not. They also asked me over the phone what insurance my newborn had, and proceeded to schedule the appointment. If I was out-of-network, wouldn't you have told me then on the phone and not went ahead and scheduled the appointment. Being out-of-network seems rather important. Why would you send something like that over a text message? That seems like something warranting a call (especially considering you shouldn't have booked the appt initially). But front office doesn't do that because they're rude and lazy. As I'm walking out the door and looking at the text messages between the office and myself, the front office girl then back talks and says, "oh we definitely sent a text." Avoid the lazy, incompetent front office they have employed.

After getting discharged, I reached out to my primary care physician for a referral to an allergist. She sent me here. I made my first appointment online -- on a Thursday afternoon for a Monday morning appointment. Apparently, I did not make the appointment before they left for the day, add in the fact that they are closed Fridays, and when I arrive on Monday -- no record of an appointment. This was a little frustrating, but they still got me in. So I was still a happy camper. I had several appointments to get to the bottom of things. There were two rounds of prick/poke tests done on my back. I think I had somewhere around 140 sticks between the two sessions. Not fun, but necessary. After going over my results, Dr. Bethea put me on shots. I get 3 shots a week in a single session. 2 in 1 arm and 1 in the other -- alternating every other week. I have to double-up on Zyrtec and bring an epi-pen for each shot session, but I've not experienced any negative side reactions. So, it's too soon to tell if it's working or not, but I like the attention they give. One last plus -- you don't need an appointment for shots -- just show up at your convenience as long as you've had your first shot with them. So far, I recommend!

He gave every excuse as to why I shouldn't- seems like if someone is sent by their doctor- you do the procedure. They went for a dang reason. It's been a week and I am still sick. Covid seems to have brought the worst out of people and this guy is definitely 1. New management doesn't seem to have made a difference. He was smiling when I left. He was either lazy or evil. Bill walked me through the process with expertise and kindness. It was determined I needed a cat scan so Cathy took over and walked me through the process with ease and whimsy. We were there for awhile because I needed several tests to try to figure out what was causing my pain but that's to be expected and was not an issue. They always pick up the phone, and they are also quick to respond on the patient portal, Appointments are usually not difficult to come by (even if you might need one the same day). The entire team of nurses and staff are all personable and highly professional. They have several physicians, so it's best to read the doctors' bios and request the one who resonates best with you/your kiddo(s). We personally LOVE Dr. Hathaway. She is so sweet, friendly, and has a great rapport with our little one. She is straightforward but also empathic & relatable. She is attentive & always listens to us and explains things thoroughly. Pro-vaccine, but conservative & never pushy with medication. We never feel rushed, and we don't wait long to see her either. They called us back to a room right away, and we hardly had to wait for anyone to come in. The doctor and assistant were both so kind to my toddler, who's super inquisitive and hyper! The girl at the front desk was also incredibly nice, and every employee we interacted with was so sweet. 10/10 recommend! This will definitely be our go to urgent care from now on when we need it.
