They just completed a large job in my home, everything from installing new recessed lighting and retrofitting outdated recessed lighting to fan installations and outlet changes. Not only was everyone knowledgeable and kind, but they were also very patient with me as I asked questions and began to learn a little bit about electrical, something I had absolutely no experience with. All communication was prompt and detailed so that I was always aware of everything throughout the project, and I was able to easily make minor changes to the scope of the work. I'm currently undergoing home renovations in South Philly and needed an electrician to rewire the entire house. I didn't know any reputable contractors (seems like a common problem here), so I took to Yelp to help in my search. After an hour of researching/reading reviews, I ended up calling several electricians to seek estimates. I didn't end up going with Blessing Electric (due to a timing issue on my end), but I felt obliged to write them a positive review because Curt and Jane were nothing short of professional during my dealings with them. I scheduled an appointment (for an exact time; none of that 3 hour time slot business wondering when someone is going to come). The next day Curt showed up early, looked very professional, and was courteous. I showed him through my 3-story row home (part of which was demoed), and he let me know everything I needed to do to meet Philly code and pass inspection (I was pulling permits). He was extremely intelligent and easy to converse with. His quote came the very next day, which I couldn't believe. It was the most detailed, itemized quote I had ever seen; which pleased my "OCD-ness" to make sure all my bases were covered. His price seemed very reasonable and in line with most of the other valid quotes I received. My schedule unexpectedly got pushed up, so as I stated previously, I was forced to go with another competitor. However, I would have absolutely no qualms having Curt do future work on my house. We had one leg of our electric service go out and called Blessing as I thought the problem was beyond the point of PECO's responsibility. Blessing did not come out but directed us to PECO who also gave great service correcting a faulty connection on the wires leading to our meter. Blessing could have taken the work, but instead referred to PECO who didn't charge us for redoing work done years earlier by our then electrician. If we ever do need work, Blessing will get the call. read more

The initial estimate was very complete taking into consideration the special circumstances I had and the coordination with Jane who works in the office was fast and clear. Hello Blessing Electric Team! I wanted to write to you to tell you how absolutely pleased I am with the recent work that your company, and your Electrician Curtis, performed at my house last Friday. From my first call where Jane helped me articulate exactly what I needed to be done, to entire work performed by Curtis and the other coworker that came to assist. Curtis performed in a manner in which he was meticulous to not create an unnecessary damage to my newly painted walls, his work site was clean and orderly and was extremely respectful of me and my home. He was an absolute work horse as well! He would not even let me feed him or take a moment to even stop! (Which was totally unnecessary). The job was expected to be about an hour and a half or so and it turned into an entire day's project. I was so blown away by the commitment to doing such a good job, to do it well and to price it appropriately - even after all the extra hours it took to complete.I have used your firm in the past, and I have alot more work that I will DEFINATELY be using you again, and I will be recommending to friends and family as well!!!
