Mom did not want to leave her home, but she was not safe to live alone. From our first inquiry with Parveen, and many telephone calls to get answers to our questions, we were very impressed with her professionalism. My family is extremely happy with the continued care and the services provided. The staff is friendly, caring and compassionate. If there is a need or request, the staff always seem eager to assist. I like using the Carefield app that lists daily menus and activities. Mom likes the food and there are plenty of activities that interest her. I also appreciate the periodic reviews and treatment plan updates from the Carefield nurse, Kathy. Kathy will sometimes send me photos when mom is involved with a fun activity. I am grateful that mom is in good and caring hands. A big thank you to the staff at Carefield.

I liked Baywood Court the best because there is no expensive buy-in and the monthly rent is reasonable. From number 16 on the waiting list I was able to move in at mid-February. I have a one-bedroom apartment of 600 square feet facing the pool. It's between two exits so it's very convenient for my dog to go out for his business. Plus there is a half-mile trail inside the facility for his daily walk. I enjoy going through the Rose Garden and the Gazebo along many beautiful flowers and plants. Living at Baywood is like living in a hotel or a cruise ship. There is 24/7 lighting and air conditioning/heat throughout the building. I get weekly house-cleaning, change of bed linens and towels. I just leave my garbage at the door and all the packages I ordered are delivered to me . The two meals a day can be stretched to three because of the many options I can choose. In the one year I have been here, I have not cooked one meal for myself. No more driving to the gym. I just walk down the hall to my Tai Chi, Chair Yoga, and Zumba classes. We also have lots of performance by outside artists and regular health and informational meetings. Just this week we had Martini Monday, Coffee Social, and Tequila Thursday. You can play pool, jigsaw puzzles, Mahjong and many table games at the Game Room. There are also daily drive to shopping and regular visit to museums and scenic areas. Baywwod also has many group activities such as Sunday mass, Thursday Bible study, grief sharing, Spanish class, arts and crafts, movie and sports night, etc. I joined the Knit Wits to make projects for charity. I am the inventory manager and also volunteer as a cashier for our general store called The Cubby. The staff at every Department here are friendly and efficient. I love the community of other residents. The management does such a good job that I was pleasantly surprised when our rent did not go up for this year. I am so glad God provided me Baywood Court where I can live out the rest of my years feeling safe and secure.

We are very thankful to both Jody and Nanette for making our visits extremely pleasant each time. They have been more than helpful, patient and gracious with us and we happily look forward to being part of the Baywood Court family!

The apartment kitchen is full, though whoever thought putting the freezer on top of the fridge should be relegated to a lifetime of stooping to find things. (A special shout-out to Facility Manager Art Blancas.) A major flaw is the food. You pay for it whether you eat it or not. The few times we tried it meats were vastly overcooked and tasteless. Originally, he was at a different facility which was nice but above our budget. After touring Bellara with a friend who was also looking for care for her mother, we decided on Bellara. It is a beautiful facility, with spacious rooms, a lot of activities, impressive meals and caring staff. The initial meetings with Dominic Ong are what sealed the deal. He was a great listener, helped us problem solve, listened to our needs and was transparent on pricing and ways we could potentially save. He did not sell us any gimmicks and was very sincere. My dad loves his room, the spacious bathroom and independence. We are very grateful to Dominic and the staff at Bellara.

Compared to many other places we visited, their service charges are more reasonable--and the best part is that they include more services without adding extra fees. The rent is also more affordable, making it a smart choice for families who want excellent care without the high price tag. We had the pleasure of touring the facility with RJ, the marketing director, who has been working at Landmark Villa for 15 years. Despite her long tenure, she remains genuinely passionate about her work. She took the time to walk us through the entire community, explain every detail clearly, and answer all of our questions with patience and care. Although we ultimately chose another community due to the longer distance from my home, I still feel Landmark Villa would have been a great fit for my mom. If you're looking for a warm, well-managed, and affordable place for your loved one, I highly recommend visiting Landmark Villa as part of your decision-making process.

The staff here, from the receptionist to the caretakers to the med techs to the executives overseeing the place, are all wonderful. Every day there is a schedule of activities, from balloon badminton to trivia to bingo. They have tea parties, live music, happy hours. Today when I visited mom activity coordinator Mariah was doing her nails. That is above and beyond in my book. They decorate for every holiday. The lobby, dining room and individual rooms are inviting and bright. The energy is great. Bottom line: I haven't seen my mom this happy in years. And that gives me peace of mind you can't put a price on.

We had started to notice staffing shortages as well. My only concern is that my mother with all of her medical issues is well taken care of and that she is well tended to. After catching wind of all the staffing issues and possible management problems the family started to get concerned. Then just today i receive several calls from my mother on her cell phone which we made sure she has with her at all times. She calls and tells me shes been in her room put down to bed at 6:45 and she has used the bathroom and no body has checked in on her. So i called the front desk and they said that some one will be there shortly. 30 minute later the care takers came into the room with me on the phone and attended to her. The problem is that my mother was in a uncomfortable situation for a hour with no one tending to her. I can only imaging what it would be like for other residents that dont have a cell phone

It is all about ensuring the best quality of life possible for their residents. There is constantly fun happy activities happening. When you first visit you get the feeling of this quaint little community and then you enter and are amazed at how much space the residents have to roam around. I love the outdoor area! It is so spacious and sprawling with wonderful things to do such as the raised planter boxes. Oh and did I mention the chef uses the freshest produce that comes from their very own farm/ranch?! Probably the most impressive thing about Willow Creek is the staff. They truly care about their residents. The longevity of the staff is far greater than many other communities which provides the much needed stability that Memory care residents need to thrive. The cherry on top of all the goodness of Willow Creek is that the cost is among the most affordable in the Bay Area. Staff gracefully indulge my aunt, who has a rather demanding personality at times. (I wish I were as patient as they are with her!) Unlike many other nursing homes, Oak Creek staff seemed to love their work, which they perform as a true vocation. The building sits under a canopy of trees, nestled against a forested hillside. Residents have access to a large patio area with a garden, an aviary with cooing mourning doves, and chickens, with many seating areas. The entranceway is always decorated very festively according to season, giving it a cheerful ambiance. Art, music, movies, meditation, crafts, exercise, and many other activities fill the day. My only complaint is that I would love to live there myself and be pampered as beautifully as my aunt and uncle are!
