It packs a huge punch for such a small space! There were many protein bar choices, including Kind, Barebells, MetRX, and many other large-name brands. The drink selection is also good here. I was very surprised to see such a nice refrigerated section, too. Lots of fresh food options for a gas station. Decent quality selection, and the stuff I bought had expiry dates pretty far out. Prices weren't bad. $8 for a bottle of water and two protein bars. Not bad at all. The gas prices were a bit high and usually are high at this station, but I usually avoid getting gas at the lake due to high pricing. I would stop here again for the market if I needed some drinks or snacks and didn't want to go all the way down to the Target past Stateline or back to the Safeway further back on HWY 50.

Be careful and check your receipt. I bought all this late in the night - my main motive was to get some coffee for the morning as if I don't have that I get in this horrible horrible mood. In my executive room at Harrahs there is even a coffee maker but I don't want to have to fiddle with that - I just needed one coffee before I could make it down the elevator to Starbucks where I grab that and head to the pool to enjoy on the lawn. The store itself is convenient and awesome. Fast and everything you could ever want is inside. I just wish they would appreciate and respect tourists a bit more.

A week later, I went back into the store with my wife and asked him if he had called me back. He wasn't being cooperative and was clearly blowing us off, acting like we were wasting his time while he focused on other customers. As we were leaving, I flipped him off and said something like, "Thanks for robbing us, asshole." That's when the manager yelled, "Come back in here, motherf*cker." I went back inside, recording it and he immediately started telling us to leave. So we left and got into our car. The manager then came outside and filmed our license plate. About 15 minutes later, the police were knocking at our door. The officer told us that this store had previously been busted for overcharging customers for cigarettes. The owner of the store where I now buy my cigarettes confirmed the same thing. BTW -- I've known the previous owner's brother, "Mike," for over 30 years. He and his family were best friends with my mother, who went to India with them twice--once for their wedding. As we are unloading our children, the security guard from inside the Chevron comes to harass us. Telling us we can't park there, it's handicap and we need to buy something from the store. No shit, we have a placard and we were planning to buy lottery tickets inside. Well, we went inside and told the store clerk the security guard was harassing us about the parking spot. Clerk agreed with the security and told us we aren't supposed to park there for more than 10 minutes (even tho the sign outside says 20). And I restated we literally just parked , why are you telling us not to park there ?? Anyways, we left and decided to buy lottery tickets elsewhere ; where staff will not harass us for parking in designated areas. They obviously didn't want us there. Maybe they are racists against Asians? I have no clue. But The staff here is completely unprofessional.
