Was accidentally charged for an extra beer. I bought a bunch of stuff here - one coffee, one beer, one chips, one apple fritter... but was charged for two beers. Be careful and check your receipt. I bought all this late in the night - my main motive was to get some coffee for the morning as if I don't have that I get in this horrible horrible mood. In my executive room at Harrahs there is even a coffee maker but I don't want to have to fiddle with that - I just needed one coffee before I could make it down the elevator to Starbucks where I grab that and head to the pool to enjoy on the lawn. The store itself is convenient and awesome. Fast and everything you could ever want is inside. I just wish they would appreciate and respect tourists a bit more. read more

Totally ripped me off on the XactAir tire air machine. The tire pressure readings don't appear to be correct, and after paying twice for air, I asked the store clerk to give me a freebie so I can try a different pressure. He completely disavow any responsibility, so I'm forced to pay the outrageous rate to fill tire air again. Complete scam. read more

Went in for a Monster drink, and the signage said 3 for $6.50. I took 3 to the counter, and he rang up $7.23 and I said no tax on Monster (I know because I buy them every day) He pretended he didn't speak English and kept pointing to the amount and I said "No". No tax. He kept insisting, and said he couldn't change. I said "No". He called someone else up and they spoke in Arabic (?) and he also said - $7.23. I think they are used to ripping off tourists who don't know better, and maybe feel like 73 cents is no big deal. But ripping people off IS a big deal. Small, super convenient and friendly. This old school 7 Eleven is right off the main road Lake Tahoe Blvd. Can't miss it as your driving through the town. We've stopped by here three times in two days for mainly Gatorade, snacks and red bull...no red bull for me lol! They have everything I wanted and the drinks were on sale too! That part is nice and all, but more so the staff was really friendly! I love that you get that small town feel and everyone knows each other! First night in we stopped, and the attendant asked the typical things... How's your day, find everything you need, and lastly where are you traveling from? My response, San Diego. Went into the store this morning to 7-Eleven on highway 50 South Lake Tahoe they don't give change back. To me that's stealing awful store

Every time I come here the young guy doesn't charge me right . One time he even kept my change and didn't even give me a reason why! Last time (which will be the very last time) I TOLD THE CASHIER I got 3 monsters. They are advertised at 3 for 550. He rang up 2. So I told him I have 3. He said put in your number. I ASSUMED he put in the 3rd. As I was walking out I was confused as to why it was over $9. I asked him for my receipt. I was charged almost 6.50. I COULD HAVE BOUGHT THEM AT WORK FOR LESS. When I pointed out they were 3 for 5.50 he said "no, $6". I don't know if he thinks I am that stupid or he IS that stupid but I'm tired of being ripped off by this guy. Does not run an honest business. Almost everything is priced incorrectly and they try to overcharge you. Even once called out on it the clerk gives excuses and won't honor posted prices. Just says the tags haven't been updated once shown price tag with product name on it. Multiple beers were labeled $2.78 and I was told none of them we're actually that price. read more

This store has zero customer service skills! It doesn't matter what time of day I go in to this location and the staff treats me like garbage. One example was I came in after work at 2am and asked the clerk if they were still able to cook a pizza for me and he said yes and so I bought it and when he gave me the pizza that I paid for to be cooked he handed me a raw take and bake pizza to go home and cook myself! Now if I wanted to cook at 2am after a long day of work I would have went to the grocery store! Another example is the other day I wanted pizza and I knew they sold it by the slice so I asked my hubby to stop and get a slice. He went in and told the guy what he wanted and the clerk said I have to help this guy first, taking about another customer who wasn't even at the register! My hubby said no I'm here and first and I just want the piece of pizza the guy then dropped it in the floor and tried to put it in the box and sell it to him and he caught on and said I don't want that off the floor and he said it's the last piece there no more!! The clerk dropped it on purpose I'm pretty sure just because my husband didn't want to be cut off by the other patron! It's just the little things in this store like the attitude of the employees towards the customers, like we're a big inconvenience to them! And if you're a woman they treat you worse. My sister gets treated like crap when she comes here as well. Now we do not shop at this store and either does the rest of my family members! I went in there in the afternoon. Took my goods up to counter and the guy says to me "Oh you look tired." Now I have never seen this person before, how does he not know that is how I always look, I'm 62 for christs sake. I think that was rude. Then I ask him for a scratch off lottery ticket and he tells me they don't have any lottery tickets. WTF. Suk and Nena are the best girls ever. They work so hard and try to maintain the store as much as they can, knowing how employment is around here. These ladies were so kind to their costumers trying to restock as the fires kick their business in the the dirt. I know it can be tough owning a business, people need to be more understanding of the situations owners come across and they displayed everything to me through their thoughts and comments. Our go-to spot for coffee, snacks, pastries, and Redbox rentals. While they used to be hard to miss off of SLT Blvd, they recently removed their sign out front (around the time the sidewalks went in). So it may be difficult to spot. Employees are always friendly. If anything I'd say this place is in need of an expansion - it's cramped in there. Now that the gas pumps are gone there is plenty of room for it if they wished. read more

Constantly out of even the most basic products, expired food on the shelves half of the time, and hands down the worst workers I've ever encountered. Somehow, I ended up being the duchess of a 7-Eleven. Lol YES! ... Anyway... This is your typical 7-Eleven, except for some reason which is quite rare here on the west coast, this one has a gas station! This makes the 7-Eleven a usual stop for me in Tahoe because they also happen to have one of the cheapest gas around. If you go to Chevron or Shell, you're looking to pay up to $0.70 more per gallon, now that's quite a bit more. This 7-Eleven tends to get crowded with people who come here, well, for 7-Eleven things like coffee and donuts, but overall it's got a pretty decent selection of convenience store items and it's got a dumpster. For those of you who know what I mean, this is a gem. Use it wisely! read more

I think that they shut it off over night to save money or some shit. But I am tired of taking home a beverage and having to ice it down. Prices here are pretty high but that's how all convenience stores are. The gas prices are pretty good and they have a window cleaner. Only downside is that there is 2 pumps but cars can park on both sides. One of the pumps wasn't working when I went. read more

I was just at the 7-Eleven at 2620 S Lake Tahoe Blvd I asked the Cashier RYAN if he could re-load my Card. He took my card and swiped it fast and said it doesn't work. I told him they have to swip it two time some times and he looked at me and said I JUST SAID IT IS NOT WORKING. I said back to him can you just swipe it again he told me DON'T GIVE ME A ATTITUDE.
