I've been coming to Blimpie since I was a kid. Every time I come here no matter who makes it they always make it the same which is great. The staff is super friendly and the place is always clean.

amazing food, love the new wraps, I hope this place stays open for many more years to come!

Flat bread, barely any meat cheese and had to ask multiple times for condiments.

Skimpy. You'd get better quality for a cheaper price at a subway. Horrible customer service and they even got the size wrong. Never again!

Blimpie in Jersey City Central avenue been there 50 years excellent service excellent food.

Best blimpie sandwich in town as close as the original blimpie as you're going to get if you're in Central avenue Jersey City give it a try you won't regret it

This Blimpie location is the hands down best!!! I've been going here since I was a kid, and they're just as good now as they were then. Every year, they were my field trip sandwich of choice! 1. Plenty of meat and cheese on their sandwiches. They don't skimp! 2. Great prices considering the size of their sandwiches. Perfect for sharing! 3. They're quick and efficient. If you know what you want, you can get a sandwich in 60 seconds flat (from ordering to wrapping and bagging). 4. If you don't want a soggy sandwich, they can put the oil and vinegar into a little to-go container for you. Just ask.

Has lots of seating. But no one was eating in, except the workers.

This is was my first time eating at Blimpie and it actually inspired my first post on yelp! Ordered the Blimpie Best, for that I give 5 stars. It had a excellent taste, especially for it being a basic sandwich. Reason for the 4 stars is because the lady that started our order, began making it, then the phone rang and with her gloves on answer phone then walks away. Didn't tell any other worker what we ordered or anything. Other worker came up, picked up immediately where she left off, thankfully you could tell that she had been working there for a while because she knew what I had ordered just by the meat. She seemed really upset that the other lady just walked off. All the workers seemed nice, but since I dined in I noticed a lot of them didn't take there gloves off after touching the food, would answer the phone, and go back to making sandwiches. Good experience other than that.

They do try to tweak the menu [Buffalo Chicken is good, but the sauce is HOT], but I generally stick with the cold sandwiches, go for the BB!

The one with pesto, chicken cutlet, and tomato packed a ton of sharp garlic flavor in every bite, while the basic chicken parm with cheese was also delicious. Sandwiches are gargantuan--one easily feeds two hungry people. I would recommend going there if you have transportation (I did not) because they arrived a bit cold and very late on UberEats (but I don't fault the restaurant for any of that).

I ordered their Cold Sandwich #4 via Grubhub and I appreciate that their prices are the same as their website. The chicken cutlet is nicely seasoned and has a good thickness. It does get slightly overtaken by the mozzarella simply because of the size of it. The seeded semolina was soft, slightly chewy, but mostly fresh. I absolutely loved the chipotle mayo and cold crispness of the lettuce and fresh tomato that brightened each bite. I know this is a cold sandwich but I would honestly prefer it if the chicken cutlet and semolina bread was warm. They had other sandwiches that caught my eye, so I'll just have to go back soon. Good try!

I was re-living my 90s video game memories by playing classics on the Super Nintendo emulator. Lot of classics, but super shout out to Donkey Kong Country 2, that I easily remembered after years. Anyhow, in between playing video games I went for an Eggplant Parm hero. There were some other interesting veggie choices - pasta, veggie burger, etc. - but I thought this one fit the bill. I was quite busy playing the video games that the food was secondary. However, I didn't hate a single bite of it. That's a good sign. Love reminiscing over childhood nostalgia playing video games!

I ordered a few 3 ft subs which were perfect for our large group. 3 Ft speciality subs are $80 and for an extra $10 they will cut the sub. They also charge a delivery fee of $25. They delivered right on time which was much appreciated. Everyone loved the sandwiches - we ordered a fully loaded Italian sub and a chicken cutlet sub. Overall this was a solid pick and I'm happy I placed a catering order here.
