The bagels in New York and New Jersey really are worth the hype -- so good! They stuffed the crap outta our bagels, and it was absolutely delicious. I got the salmon and my husband got the egg breakfast one. Just to clarify, the coffee in my photo is from Sober Shot across the street (hopefully I got the right Wonder Bagel location!). A little pricey, but totally worth it -- super filling and tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A cute little mom pop on the corner near the place we stayed at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I walked into Wonder Bagels and received friendly customer service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was quiet on a Friday morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There wasn't much of a wait. I was out of the door by 5-7 minutes. I ordered an iced coffee with milk and a sesame cream cheese bagel toasted. I took my order to go and once I arrived back home my bagel was still warm and toasty. The bagel was soft and fresh. Great morning breakfast to start my day. 10/10 Wonder Bagels experience.

We've always enjoyed Wonder Bagels and their food when ordering in person -- it's consistently delicious. However, this was our first time ordering pickup, and our first experience at this particular Wonder Bagels location. Unfortunately, it was a total disappointment. When we picked up our order, everything was thrown together in one large plastic shopping bag -- not even a Wonder Bagels bag -- with items scattered and unorganized. Our half dozen bagels weren't packaged separately, and the sandwiches weren't labeled, so we couldn't tell which was which. None of our requested condiments were included. When it came time to eat, we were set for more disappointment: The "Fluffy" 3-egg omelette was overcooked and missing toast. The home fries were not as pictured -- they were uneven chunks of potato, some undercooked. The "Basic Becky" was dry and missing avocado. The Reuben sandwich was dry and missing both sauerkraut and Russian dressing. (How does one even mess up a Reuben?) You might ask why we didn't take it back -- but it was a busy Sunday morning in JC Heights, and just finding parking was a hassle. Sadly, this experience was enough for us to say: never ordering online from this location again.

Great service. The best bagels in the city. And a very spacious spot to either dine in or take out. The bagels are the best bagels I ever had. A wide range of selection to pick from.

Definitely not a plain whole wheat bagel

I honestly love the quality of their bagels when they're right. However, they will get your order wrong 95% of the time. I've ordered on Uber eats about 6 times and every single time it has been wrong. I definitely will not be ordering from here again. Today I even called to ensure that they have my order correctly for Uber to pick up. Tell me how it's still wrong? I don't understand who they have working there, but they clearly do not read the directions clearly. Edit: yes, even in person they will get your order wrong. I called once about an issue with the order and I was told if I ordered it in person they would be sure there was no errors. Needless to say, there was still errors the next time I went in person. Pretty simple orders too. I could understand if it's something complicated but it's really not.

30 minutes before close and escorted out? I just wanted a water...the franchise owners I know would not be happy.

PLEASE LOOK AT THE TIME!!!!!! Walked in at 2:20, no cold salads, sandwiches, bagels...NOTHING. I was told they were closed, I know the owners of this franchise and know they would NEVER turn a customer away 30 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSE. Wasn't even offered the chance to buy a water.

Fresh baked bagels every morning. No matter how you take the bagel, I would put it up against any other place. Freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee ice cubes with your cold brew. Family operated in a warm, clean atmosphere. Get there asap.

I have been hearing about this place and how the bagels are great. I went for lunch and didn't want to fall asleep at my desk, so didn't get a bagel and instead opted for the Buffalo chicken wrap in a spinach wrap. It was $10 and pretty small. There was barely any chicken in it but it did taste great! I just wish they had filled it up a bit more for the cost.

This has somewhat been a routine of mine since moving here and I haven't really been disappointed anywhere I've gone. This was no different. Loved the picked onion addition too. Now - the pricing is not necessarily breakfast pricing. Expect to spend around $20 for both a breakfast item and coffee like I did. But if you have the means to do so, then you might as well.

Long story short I asked for refund but they said they have to ask their manager who's not coming back that day since it is holiday and I would need to wait until next day for refund so I end up getting a cheesecake instead. The cheesecake tasted little sour so initially I thought it went bad. Also it tasted like it's been sitting in the fridge for a long time. You know when you taste fridge smell from the food. I got to pick a type of bread to go along with the meal and was about to choose sourdough until the server mentioned the option of a fresh baked biscuit! Bonus - it was served with butter and house made jam. My husband got the mojo chicken which was also very good, especially the black bean puree. We finally had the opportunity to do so on a quiet Easter Sunday. First, the interior looks pretty amazing. A lot of history behind all the architecture and they did a good job preserving it. Because it was raining and chilly, we couldn't see the rooftop, but I can see the appeal. To start, we got an assortment of small muffins for the table. That was a nice touch. They were good too. For brunch, we each ordered omelettes. I got the Jalapeño & Cheddar while my fiancée got the mushroom and spinach omelette. We ended up complementing the items quite well. I did end up enjoying her omelette well. The vegetables were definitely fresh and cooked quite well. My omelette was nice and cheesy, how I like it. The jalapeños didn't have a crazy kick, but enough to satisfy. The potatoes were good too. Skinner's isn't going to win World's Best anything, but it's a solid neighborhood spot with big portions for decent prices. The Buttermilk Pancakes were large, fluffy and satisfying. My Croque Monsieur was perfectly crispy and loaded with delicious melted bechamel, gruyere and prosciutto. One of the tastiest Croque Monsieurs I've had, including the ones I enjoyed living in France, and certainly bigger than its Manhattan counterparts. The Crispy Shrimp & Bacon Sandwich was also a pleasant taste bomb of basil, dill & cucumber remoulade, tomatoes, and, of course, bacon.
