Jesus I'm reading reviews but I got the chicken Cesar sandwich and it was not good!!! I can name a couple places that make better sandwiches at a cheaper price and bigger or about the same size.... so let's start with the chicken cutlets........ the taste like they were air fried , that's gross and we are in New Jersey not south beach!!! the bread was a overkill and the Cesar salad outweighed the chicken... I would name some of the places that are better but I don't want to make the lines longer than they are.... the staff here are great people with great service. they just need to improve their recipe. Good queue when we came for lunch. We ordered a couple sandwiches to stay. Not much sitting area. Sandwiches are large. One for 2 people can be just enough for a hefty lunch. I tried Venti Italian Specialties last week and am very happy that I did! Food: I ordered a chicken parmesan sub with vodka sauce and a chicken cutlet caesar sandwich. The chicken parm sub was good however, the chicken cutlet caesar was amazing! The seasoning used in the sandwich was just perfection and I will definitely be getting that again. Service: I placed my order using Uber Eats (I do not suggest you do this as Uber charges a bit extra) so, it could be ready for me when I got there. As soon as I walked into the shop I was greeted by everyone behind the counter and felt very welcomed. They were wrapping up my sandwiches and it was ready within 15 minutes of submitting the order. Very fast! Ambiance: The shop is on a corner and is pretty small. They have very limited seating so, be weary of that if you plan on eating there. The employees were listening to music that created this very homey atmosphere. I got the impression immediately that they all really enjoy working there. Trying this place for the first time, heard good things from reliable friends. Walked in for lunch first impression very clean. Was looking at menu for about 2 minutes when I was asked what I was looking for. Ordered the roast beef sandwich. Took only a couple minutes to have my order ready. Pretty big sandwich for 15 bucks. After hearing about Venti on social media, we decided to give a try while in Jersey City! Only street parking is available and fortunately this isn't a busy part of JC, so it wasn't too difficult to find. The interior is like a classic deli with only a couple seats and you can order from the counter. We got the chicken caesar sandwich, which was reasonably priced for its size. It was filled to the brim with salad, chicken cutlets, dressing, and even croutons! The dressing made the sandwich very flavorful and I split it with my boyfriend. We decided to eat inside, and the staff was kind enough to check in on us and provide us with more napkins. Overall, we had a great experience at Venti and would recommend it! read more

I've heard about these guys when they were a food truck and now they have their first store front. Stopped in for lunch and the guys behind the counter were very friendly. They offered up suggestions depending on what I was in the mood for. It's mostly sandwiches there which the sandwich menu sounded great. There were a few returning customers who raved about the sandwiches in there as well. Unfortunately I'm trying to stay away from bread so luckily they had some hot food. I was offered eggplant, chicken cutlet, meatballs, pasta, vodka sauce, marinara, salads. They were very accommodating and said I could do half cutlet have eggplant platter with some mozzarella and vodka sauce. When I got back to work though it wasn't quite what I ordered .. it was all eggplant with mozzarella and marinara. So I was disappointed with that however the eggplant was excellent. It was thinly sliced lightly breaded eggplant. It was a large portion and I couldn't even finish it. So, despite it being the wrong order, the food was pretty good. They also have a soup of the day. It looks like they are still getting things up and running so the menu is a little limited unless you're a sandwich person. I'll return in hopes of getting cutlet. read more

Easy 5 star. The sandwiches are so good; I've picked up multiple times from the truck, but just had my first delivery yesterday from the store. I had the unrivaled vodka chicken parm. It's ridiculous how good this sandwich is. Even delivered it was perfectly packed to retain the heat and the solid semolina roll is perfect because it's able to maintain good crust/crunch even in delivery. With the generous servings they could easily slide by without having a great attention to detail, but they go the extra mile in terms of layering the items and spreading it out so every bite is amazing. Clean establishment and hygienic food prep practices (discarding gloves when changing from food prep to ringing up an order), tasty options (I got this spicy Italian situation that was loaded with a nice kick), and filling (again, the sandwich was HUGE *in my Donald Trump voice*).
