It took me a week of trying to get my refund, finally I reached out to TSO main headquarters, and was told that this TSO is a franchise, so the home office lie was just to delay giving my refund. I called again while I was out, again the lie was repeated, we haven't gotten the check from the home office, so I had to go to the TSO, and make a call in front of them to Mastercard explaining that i was getting the run around. Then the girl who had been lied, told me they close early. I said I;m not leaving, she finally went back to who ever owns this TSO and came back very mad and handed me my check, I sat in the parking lot and deposited it ASAP. Although it was close to closing time, he didn't rush us or make us feel hurried to make our frames selections. Instead, he was very inviting and took time to help us look and ensure we made selections with which we were comfortable and not just settling. We told him we could come back another time, but he told us not to worry and to just take our time. He walked us through the entire process, even looking up my VSP ID number which was definitely a chore as my company uses my employee ID and not a VSP provided ID and I was not aware of that. After making our selections, he helped us with getting an optometrist appointments scheduled before actually placing the order. After our appointments, we returned to Target Optical and were happy to see Daryl who once again took time to let us browse the frames to ensure our original selections were still what we wanted. Throughout the process of ordering and picking up our frames Daryl kept us well informed of the status of our orders and made us feel like a priority. When our glasses came in, the lenses in my fiancé's glasses didn't seem to be working for her and he assured us there would be no issue with getting them replaced after verifying her prescription. He assisted in reordering the glasses and did everything in his power to ensure we received exactly what we needed. A few weeks after our final visit, I received a call from Daryl to see how the glasses were working out for me and my fiancé and last week, we were surprised to receive a hand written card from Daryl, thanking us for coming in. I can honestly say I've very rarely felt like such a VIP when dealing with optical centers or any other place of retail. This was my first visit to this location, and when I walked in, two employees were deep in conversation about another patient. I fully expected at least a quick acknowledgment when I approached the counter, but nope--they just kept chatting. I waited a moment, assuming they'd wrap it up, but eventually had to clear my throat and say, "Good morning." They responded... then finished their conversation. Not my favorite first impression, but I let it go. Once I was checked in, things moved quickly. I was taken back almost immediately for the initial tests (yes, the dreaded air-puff ), and then I met Dr. Stancea--and that's where this visit really turned around. Dr. Stancea was fantastic. He was genuinely enthusiastic, incredibly thorough, and explained everything he was doing step by step. His excitement about how the eye works was contagious--I found myself completely engaged and actually wanting to learn more. It's rare to leave an appointment feeling informed and energized, but he pulled it off effortlessly. Despite the less-than-warm greeting at the front desk, the quality of care more than made up for it. This turned into a really solid experience overall, and I'll definitely be returning--hopefully with a smoother welcome next time.

And staff can sift through the petty few and realize their importance to the community. Also, if you have an eye emergency, just know they've got you covered here as well.
