Great selection and a wide variety of music. The prices are good. The owner was very personable. The parking lot is a bit tight.

Top notch selection of curated used vinyl in many genres. Great people, to boot! So fortunate to have a local record store like this.

Inside, they have a pretty big store with tons of crates to dig through. Their selection is organized by different genres and artists. They also have a clearance section which has some great scores too. The records here are definitely priced fairly and all of the staff are friendly and welcoming. I browsed around for a good 25-30 minutes and was able to score on a Laufey and a Gunna vinyl (yes, my music taste is random but also immaculate). I will definitely be back for some more good finds!

Out of the 2 locations I've been to, this has a better parking lot as well. Since the store is a lot bigger, that means a lot more selection of figures, books, manga, videos and more. In general, I do enjoy this store as it has great value. I found quite a few things that were quite cheaper here than if you go to a large retail store. If you have anything that you may want to get rid of (but works very well or in good shape) you can see if they're willing to it and give you an estimate. The staff are helpful to help you (the best of their ability) to find what you are looking for or need.

In some cases, their used prices actually exceed MSRP. For example, they're charging $70 for a loose, boxless copy of Pokémon Legends: Z-A for the Nintendo Switch 2--which is full retail price for a second-hand, incomplete item. Their trade-in values are just as bad. It's not uncommon for them to offer you a tenth of what they plan to resell your item for. I get that the secondhand market relies on profit margins, and that they're banking on uninformed sellers looking for quick cash, but they're doing it at the expense of their loyal, long-time community. At this point, books are the only category where you can still find a decent deal. For anything else, you're much better off using eBay or finding a different store.

Since then, I've picked up multiple speakers, amps, turntables, and a ridiculous amount of vinyl. And let me tell you--there's no one I trust more than Mike Rose when it comes to building the perfect setup. The guy knows high-end audio, jazz, rock--you name it--better than anyone I've met. But it's more than just knowledge. He actually listens--not just to the gear, but to what you want out of your system. No sales pressure. No gimmicks. Just straight-up passion and expertise. I moved out of state a few years ago, but every time I'm back in town, I make it a point to stop by--whether it's to pick up an album (or a few) or to grab more gear that he can drop-ship to me wherever I am. You won't find a better place or a better guy to guide you.

Uhm, SOME records is a severe under-exaggeration of what's offered at 1 Look. When we walked in, Davey immediately greeted us and asked what we were looking for so we pulled up a list of some records on a "hit list," then browsed around while he checked to see if he had any of them. Meanwhile, I hunted around - everything is in total organized chaos, with records everywhere, but clearly labeled by genre. The first record I pulled was Biggie's Ready to Die, which was an obvious must buy. We chatted music while searching and when I mentioned I was a Wu Tang fan, he put on one of GZA's first tracks that really kicked things off, that was unknown to me. Davey is someone who knows music and seems to really love what he does. The shop also features a ton of awesome vintage clothes, comic books, and different nostalgic items (plus VHS and DVDs too, which definitely made me feel old). We left with 4 records at great prices and will continue to come back anytime we're in Huntington! Such a unique space that you could spend HOURS in and not uncover all the magic in that place.
