What a great place to go to if you're a fan of Halloween. Tickets were easy to buy online and You can choose to use ticket any of the nights that they are open. Wait time in line is surprisingly short, about ten minutes on a Saturday night. The staff do he's an amazing job crying the hell out of the guests. I was screaming my head off. Seriously thought I was going to lose my voice. But I didn't. My throat was a little sore though. A fun Halloween activity for adults and teens. I had been to this haunted house years ago which I enjoyed and this past year brought a group of teens who had a good time! Definitely for us big kids, too! There was a decent line before it opened and I'd say it didn't move too quickly when it opened but it was still definitely worth the wait! There was some scary entertainment while we waited, too. I think they said you walk through 45 rooms! So, I think the price for tickets is worth it. I would recommend buying them in advance at Costco, they usually has them, save some bucks! You can always tell when performers in a haunted house love their craft. Though this is a no-contact attraction, that by no measure means that the scarers will leave you alone. They'll engage you in thematic conversation, they'll demand that you be afraid, and we even had one individual scarer follow us through three different sets to keep us really off our guard. The lighting and animatronics are top notch as well. Some pieces that I'd assumed were rubber statues suddenly lunged at me and lit up, while light effects made truly alarming ambience and at times were even interactive. After going through the attraction itself, you can also buy adorable themed confections, spooky drinks, and Halloween related crafts by local artisans. It's not the longest haunted house in the extended Bay Area, but the love put into it makes it more than worth the trip even from the South Bay. I can't wait to come back next year. read more

I was lucky enough to score a VIP Lights On Tour for the 2019 Blind Scream experience. I'm a total whimp so I probably wouldn't have gone otherwise! Even with the lights on- this place was creepy (in a good, haunted house kind of way!). I only toured the Witches house- and it was a trip! The level of detail in the set up and decor are amazing! The cost is $15 for an adult - and if you're into this kind of thing- it is so worth it! You'll find me safe in my jammies at home trying to forget some of the the things I saw! Lol! read more

This place was really fun. The actors really got into their characters and there was a lot of fun twists and turns. The blackout area, wobbly bridge, and push-through blob was fun. It was my boyfriend's first real haunted house and those things actually freaked him out a tiny bit, which is impossible to do, lol! He literally just laughed at me the entire time while I ran and screamed, which made the whole experience awesome. My only pain points were the confusion walking through some of the areas and the price. There were entrances that you weren't supposed to take and sheets easily pushed through that were supposed to be employee entrances. A bit more closed off walls and/or hallways or even directions would have been better, customers shouldn't be lost and need to ask characters where to go, let alone go into areas that ruin the next upcoming surprise. And $25 per house...yikes, a bit steep I think. All in all though, 8 out of 10. read more

Not scary. Way too expensive for what you get and they make the emergency exits look exactly like the path to go ahead and if you end up outside they don't let you back in unless you pay for another ticket. Also, yes they use strobe lights so be careful if you have epilepsy. read more

my wife and I were really looking forward to this and at $15 a pop, thought it should be a lot better... We went on 10-28 and got there early to miss the crowds, in fact we were the 4th and 5th people in... It was cute and fun, had a couple of moments and the young girls behind us screamed,,, but there seemed to be too many missed opportunities, to many spaces where it looked like something should be there. Holes in the walls, but again, I do not want to give anything away. Maybe not all their actors got to work yet... maybe there were trying to build excitement, but the "rooms" that were done were good, I don't want to spoil it for anyone. It wasn't really scary unless you were young and REALLY jittery. We walked past a number of actors who just didn't do anything, maybe we looked to old and they didn't want to scare us, but that is what we came for. At $10 it would have been worth it, $15 was just pushing it. Now on a technical note, because that is what I do, it looked like some of the lights set up never got used, I saw what looked like strobe lights that if they had been used would have been cool, it wasn't as "dark" as pitched. The should have covered parts of the ceilings or more of them so it was truly dark since they gave you wands to light your way, but we never used them really. It was a nice little haunted house, and fun, but not like it was billed and that is sad. We came out the last door and stood there and looked at each other and said..."is that it?" Was really looking forward to have fun with my group of friends at the haunted house but is was a big disappointment. Whole thing took no more than 10 minutes, it was boring and not scary at all. The way the roof is built allows a lot of light to come in so it is not dark enough to get the "surprise" effect, you can see the "monsters" coming from a mile ahead. A waste of $20, my neighbors improvised garage haunted house was scarier than this. read more

I love going to haunted houses that scare the crap out of me, and this one completely fell short. I felt like this was more like a theatrical experience rather then a scary haunted house. The set and props were good and I think that was the best part of my whole experience. There were 3 different haunts that you go through and one of them was a blacked out maze which I think was the most scary out of the 3. read more

Honestly may be too early to review but I went to blind scream last October (2018) and I thought it was great! I mean there's probably much scarier and better haunted houses but these were fun and spot on. The houses were like 10 minutes long. Maybe longer, I had a great time! I think I went in 2? Or 3? Love the Blind Scream! We went in a big group and got to walk thru 2 haunted houses. The second walk thru with the 3d glasses was epic. My aunt was terrified of the crawling snakes light that was on the floor! Had a great time. The costumes, staff and makeup were a on point. Great Halloween event. read more

My husband and I traveled from Lake County about 90 miles from home just to check it out. Sooo worth the drive!! Finally found not just one but three haunted houses to make my toes curl!! Loved the Swamp Shack scary, Blackout omg took my breath away, way scary, holy moly!! Carnicus was freaking awesome...everything was very well thought out and on point. This was a great haunted house experience for teenagers on-up. Their location in Rhonert park allowed for enough room to create an elaborate maze with lot's of space for different sets. The staff really got into their characters. And, while they did jump-out at you and interact, none of the characters touched visitors. However, it's not for the squeamish! A fun way to make Halloween fun for teens on up. read more

Had a blast on opening night. Shot some zombies at the zombie paintball shooting gallery and experienced Last Ride a coffin ride with sounds, smells and movement, was great. Then the 3 haunts were a blast. Loved the slaughter shack with all the stuff to see and then the mad house had some great 3d work and a spinning tunnel which was a blast to go through, my son loved it. read more

This was just fantastic, for us. Lots of turns and changes. I jumped and screamed a bunch, felt claustrophobic, like snakes were crawling on me, had vertigo big time through the tunnel and was otherwise impressed with the number of props and corpses I met along the way through. BLIND SCREAM located at 1500 Valley House Drive in Rohnert Park is well worth the trip across the Golden Gate Bridge. Blind Scream doesn't look like much from the exterior but once you get inside it's a different story. Much like one of my previous experiences I was allowed to go into each attraction on my own and this truly made a world of difference. I will start with the staff who were super friendly and quick to tell you where to go and how to get there. Forget about the measly $32 entrance fee for all three attractions you've finally found the haunted attractions you were looking for. The Swamp Shack takes you deep down Louisiana and all the voodoo antics that go along with it. The actors were really into their roles and they had actors of all ages that just added to the ambiance of each room was jam packed with so much to see you couldn't see it all in one viewing. It almost made you want to go back for seconds just to see what you missed the first time. Only problem is I don't know if my heart could have taken a second round. Carnicus is my favorite of the three, but I've always had a special place in my heart for those darn clowns. If you don't like clowns or anything circus related than don't even bother entering this attraction. It gave my three "oh sh*&" moments and that is a lot for me. A jolly labyrinth of extreme scary fun with some really eat 3D props and rooms. They sure placed a lot of thought into this place and this attraction alone is worth the travel. Oh yeah is you don't like cramped space than just by-pass this one because it truly does have everything and you literally have to squeeze your way out. Good luck to all who enter. Finally, we get to Blackout that should speak for itself but in case it doesn't let me explain. You walk into an abyss of complete darkness with only a tiny glow stick and your sense of touch and sound to guide you. This doesn't sound appealing? Well it isn't yet it was so much fun. Who said you can't have a chilling good time in the dark? This actually reminded me of the scene from Tales of the Crypt (1972) part 9. If you are fortunate you know what I'm talking about and if you don't than you better Netflix or Redbox before you go. You'll see what I mean, or will you? Long story short it was a lot of fun even with the constant screams. Need to take a break? Right across Blackout you have the witching brew where you can rest you weary bones to some awesome 1970's B horror movies. This was a very nice addition to what they have to offer. And to end things right you can take the Last Ride before going home. If you are claustrophobic than DON'T take this ride as it takes place inside a real coffin and that's all I will say. I don't want to spoil to surprise. So far this is my best recommendation for haunted attractions. read more

Awesome Halloween haunted houses! My family and I went on early Thursday night so the line is bearable and can save some money. It is a fantastic way of celebrating Halloween without having to go to theme parks like universal. It is affordable,nearby and very accessible. So much fun to go with a group too. read more

Super long lines turn me off in the one for blank screen is always super long. Some stuff is pretty scary and anything they jumps at me can usually coax out a good scream. Saw s couple of teenage kids crying outside after going thru. Not really my thing, but might be great for someone who likes a good spook. read more
