Plenty of people that love to dance to the blues music

Love the venue, but they need to get rid of the old bartender. He's really rude and impersonal to both the clients and the musicians. He seems to have an attitude each time I see him, and unfortunately he is always there. But otherwise a truly amazing establishment! Be careful with parking. They will boot you in the nearby lots and streets if you aren't careful.

Such a fun place to grab a drink and dance like you never knew you could! Great bands and cozy atmosphere.

    Rockin with the band!

I would recommend Blind Willie's if they had a kitchen and at least 1 or 2 signature dishes. I'm sure that they will hire a cook soon. The band last night was fantastic, but I never saw anything stating the name of the band. I regret that I didn't get the band name before leaving. I would definitely come back to enjoy their music again. The ambiance was great! The drink service was good, but it could be better with a couple of servers.

We stumbled upon this Cajun/creole/blues club just looking for a drink, and it may have been our best experience in Atlanta! Reasonably priced drinks but the real draw was the live blues music! There's room to dance in front of the stage, and they had seriously impressive talent. 100% recommend checking it out. There is a $10-20 cover depending on who's playing (you can see the schedule on their website), but it was WELL worth it!

I had amazing times. I went on a Tuesday night they said it is Blues however the music seemed more country to me. Parking Yes they have parking in the back of the building and after 10 pm you can park or the street Service My waiter was excellent. He was on top of everything. Drinks I had the Gator rum drink it is similar to having a a Long Island but fruity and it was terrific. Food I had the Cajun wings and it was a little dry however my date had the barbecue wings and it was delicious. Bathroom They do have one bathroom however it stink.

Ask the Community - Blind Willie's

What days of the week have live music?

    Wednesday-Sunday

Is there a cover charge or a minimum food/drink spend per table?

Yes there was a cover when I was there. I think always as that is how they pay the bands.

How does seating work? Is it first come first serve?

Seating is first come, first served. Doors typically open an hour and a half to two and a half hours before the live music starts. Come early to pick your favorite seats and start with dinner and drinks before the show.

Is it 21 and over? Or can 18 year olds get in?

Blind Willie's is a 21+ venue. We have beer, wine and a full bar along with the live music, so the club is 21 and over.

There probably isn't a bar in the city that offers as breathtaking of a view as does Moonlight. The panorama of all three of Atlanta's skyscraper centers is clearly visible, along with the historical architecture of Ponce City Market. The crowd is mix of tourists and locals in their 20s and 30s. The cocktails are solid. Food is decent, nothing to rave about, but again, hopefully nobody is here for the food. The lobster roll was very bread heavy and the useless dab of caviar was just a wasteful decoration. Yet, the atmosphere of the place, situated in the beautiful Forth hotel makes Moonlight an incredible spot for drinks.

Please do not expect a full dinner but there are great options to keep the night going. I was kinda sad that both myself and my friend were celebrating our birthday but because we were the same table, we could only get one glass of champagne. It does get crowded and I really suggest making a reservation. I made one and even still it took ages to get a table. A reservation doesn't promise a table right away but keeps you in an active queue. I can't wait to go back again.

They hold a jazz night every Tuesday with live music for a nice chill, yet fun, vibe. Just a warning, the space inside is pretty small--typically there's optional seating outside, but it's really chilly at the moment (although they have heaters)--but there's more seating downstairs in The Victorian Atlanta plant shop. I didn't realize that the two were connected! FYI, if you sit downstairs, you'll be seated next to where the live music performers will be playing, so it will be louder there. As for the drinks, I tried the Zombie. I loved it so much, I ordered a second one instead of trying a different one! It tasted sweet and slightly tropical with the rum and spiced liqueur. It also had some absinthe, which I was worried about when I first ordered it since I hate the taste of it (not a big fan of black licorice flavors), but I didn't taste it at all! Overall, this place had such a great vibe to it!

Food came out probably 15 min after and I was ready to dig in. These wings were pretty hyped and with anything popular, I'm always worried I'm going to be disappointed. He specifically wanted to take advantage of their Monday prime rib special, which is just $20. I'm not much of a prime rib person, but I decided to tag along--and I'm really glad I did. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. It wasn't overly loud or crowded, and the décor created a relaxed, comfortable vibe that made for a great dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food. My friend ordered the prime rib and requested it Pittsburgh-style seared. I ordered the steak burger cooked medium-well. Unfortunately, my burger came out a little more well-done than I prefer, so it wasn't as juicy as I had hoped. My friend also felt his prime rib was a bit more undercooked than expected. Neither dish was bad, but they both missed the mark just enough that I'd give the food a 3 out of 5. One thing that absolutely deserves a shoutout was the tomato jelly that came with my burger. It was incredible! It tasted like the perfect blend of ketchup and jelly--slightly sweet but not overly sweet, with just the right balance of flavor. I ended up dipping my fries in it, and it was so good that I'd gladly order it again. It was easily one of the most memorable parts of the meal. What truly elevated the experience was the service. Our server, Sam, was outstanding. He was personable, attentive, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. Great service can completely change a dining experience, and Sam did exactly that. Overall, while the food had room for improvement, the atmosphere and exceptional customer service more than made up for it. I'd definitely return to Highland Tap, and thanks to Sam's excellent hospitality, I'm giving them a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

We were greeted by the bartender/bar manager, whose name I unfortunately can't remember, but she was absolutely fantastic. She had a lovely accent, was incredibly personable, attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. I started with the Hibiscus Margarita, and it was outstanding--refreshing, flavorful, and easily one of the best margaritas I've had in a while. We visited on a Tuesday for the oyster special ($15 for a dozen oysters). I'm not an oyster fan, so I skipped them, but my friend thoroughly enjoyed hers and said they were fresh and delicious. She also ordered one of their mule cocktails and loved it. For my entrée, I had the shrimp, scallop, and sausage jambalaya, and it was phenomenal. The flavors were rich, well-seasoned, and instantly reminded me of New Orleans. If you're craving authentic Cajun-inspired comfort food, this dish definitely delivers. My only complaint is that I wish they had a stronger happy hour menu with more food and drink specials. Other than that, the service, cocktails, and food were excellent. I'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend giving Fontaine's Oyster House a try!
