While driving down Auburn Ave if you blink you will miss the M Bar, so make sure you keep your eyes open. If you are looking for a place to hear good music, have good drinks , and decent food this is your spot. M Bar is a true lounge. This venue is a tiny unsuspecting gem in the middle of the block. The atmosphere is chic and sexy. There are projectors and TVs all over showing a classic movie which added to the chill ambiance while I listened to the DJ play everything I like. The furniture is simple and modern it has a upscale look. The staff and management were extremely friendly and personable. Our waitress was very attentive we didn't have to wait long for our drinks and the staff made sure your area stayed clean of empty glasses and plates. During my visit my cousin knocked a drink over on the table and without even looking for her in seconds the waitress was there to clean it up. The crowd was sophisticated and diverse. The one aspect of my visit which impressed me the most was how clean the restrooms were. There was no cover to get into the M Bar, but prices are a tad on the high end for food, and hookah. The average cost for a glass of wine is definitely more expensive here than most places. Liquor prices are average. Classy crowd, awesome dj and clean bathrooms will definitely have me coming back soon. read more

Right on the corner of Auburn & Hilliard next door to the little park area & before the Royal Peacock if you're familiar with where it was. I'm sure there's plenty of street parking but we took an Uber anticipating having to search or pay for it so definitely suggest that. The vibe in here was pretty well, music selection, air condition (it was hot af outside) everything. They offer bottomless mimosas for $20-25 per person. I like that they bring your a whole bottle instead of just coming around to fill up your cup so often. The quality of the mimosas was on point. Stopped by M Bar for an event and was pleasantly surprised at the club. The venue appears new and very clean. Modern with new TVs and nice decor. There's also a kitchen. The venue hosted two events for groups, and they served an assortment of bites. Meatballs, wings, veggies, and fries. The lounge is located in Edgewood so parking is a bit tricky because you can only park on the street which may be tough to get to. Uber is probably best for transportation. They also have a private room in the back for private events. They hosted a corporate event as well. read more

I love MBar! As someone who doesn't care for Atlanta nightlife, Mbar is definitely an exception. Pro - The number one Pro for this bar is the non extra parts of nightlife are not included in this experience. What do I mean? There isn't a long line outside of the door forcing people to serve as advertisement for other people to want to go. Mbar let's you right in. The bouncer/security guard is courteous, unlike other Atlanta clubs/bars. - No cover charge. Can we say hallelujah!! Go use that 10-20 bucks at the bar! - A ton of special events and feature nights pretty much everyday during the week. For example, one night they have something called "Politics after dark" and other discussion events and such. - Delicious Food and great drink recipes! - Trendy clean design with an amazing staff! I haven't encountered a rude wait staff member or bartender yet. - Reservations - free of charge. Unless you're reserving for a special event such as new year's or want their largest section, you do not have to pay to reserve a table. Just call ahead or request on Eventbrite. Cons - Some seating is small and uncomfortable especially when sitting with a party of 3 or 4. Their tables and chairs are a bit small. - Parking. I always Uber here. On my first visit I did have to park in a lot across the street charging me $10. I'm not sure if they have designated parking but I don't think so. - Menu can get a little pricey but they have specials during happy hour. Overall, I would highly recommend visiting Mbar. I was invited by a close friend, who just happens to be one of the managers, for their friends and family event last night before the grand opening next month. The new M bar is ultra sexy! I'm in love with the set up. Cool colored lighting, smoke machines, large flat screen televisions showing movies. The movie of choice was Coming to America!!! #Classic...They have a VIP section with large white leather sofas, plenty of seating, large bar and an exclusive soundproof VIP room in the back. That room will be for hookahs and will have its own dj. The music was perfection! Dj ill will played GREAT hip hop and r&b. This is not a place you go to dance but I couldn't help doing a little two step!!! The bathrooms are even cool. They have three and each one is painted by a different artist. Great for selfies. This is my new favorite lounge. The atmosphere, food, music and drinks are all top notch. The service from the staff was impeccable!!! I have been to M bar many times and all for various events, However on this particular I came here for late night partying, but for me it was blah!.. If you are use to partying late night back when 112 stayed open til 7a, then this is not the late night spot for you. First of all when we arrived there was about 6 people inside we got a seat hung out for a bit then ordered food. We were the first people to order, then all of a sudden this massive group comes in and next thing I know they are all getting food way before us.. How is that possible when we were there clearly before them and had ordered?!? Secondly, they apparently allow you to smoke cigarettes inside so the smoke was bothering me really bad, I couldn't stop sneezing and coughing. They play music and videos, but it's the same old same old from probably the club or lounge you just left. And there is really no room for you to get up and dance even if you wanted. It was just chicks and guys sitting and standing around doing mostly nothing but chatting or on their phones. It just wasn't my scene. And one last thing, they do serve hookah, but stop it befor late night.. Why is that?! But we were able to talk the host in getting us one, then next thing I know a few people are getting them, but the Shisha was horrible and flavorless, the hose was all tore up like a dog had got a hold of it, and I am real picky about my hookah experience, so after my first smoke I didn't smoke anymore of it. So I only came here because of the "so called free vip birthday table" you receive plus free entry for your guests before 11. Mind you they say the club opens at 10pm so you literally have one hour. So first off they hold up the line. Second, the birthday tables are only for the small tables along the wall as soon as you walk into the club which no one pointed out when I came in which ended up being all full by the time I got in the club which was maybe 10:30pm after waiting in line. So I ended sitting at the real VIP section and they told me we had to pay for a bottle which the minimum was $250 which includes the tip for the waitress. My friend and I came here on a Wednesday night to check out the comedy show. There isn't much seating at the bar but since it wasn't packed, we were able to find two for us. The bartender explained to us the Daily Specials, both food and drinks. $5 Liquor. Hennessy & Jack Daniels were all I was interested LOL! I ordered my usual drink of choice, Jack Honey and Ginger Ale. My friend ordered a Mojito and she loved it! We ordered wings (6 for $10) and Spinach dip $(8). The majority of the main room is reserved seating. If you come here on one of the popular nights, you may end up standing which is what happened the first time I came. Hello (Just like the Adele Song): Nothing irritates me more than wanting to patronize a Black-owned business only to be let down. So there I was, attending a Black Public Relations Society (BPRS) event, where I was happily enjoying myself. When I and work colleague decided to close our tab out at the bar, and move to table seating. Sadly, I was disappointed to see that my drinks at the bar-less than 20 feet away-were half the price as my drinks at the table. My friend and l went to the event, with the express purpose of having cocktails and networking. So to both our surprise, we received a tab that was almost double what we paid at the actual bar. To no fault to the host of the event, it's really misleading to have drink specials compartmentalized in a restaurant that's literally no bigger than 520 sqft. That should really be something that is communicated at the beginning of a guest's experience at your property. I won't say that I'll never be back. But I'm not sure if it's my responsibility to ask all the appropriate questions to ensure that I-as a guest-have the optimal drinking experience. This was my second time at M bar and I intend on going back some more. Everything from the food, drinks and ambiance is great! Last Friday, our party of six ladies went in for dinner and cocktails, we had 2 tables reserved in the lounge section, which appeared to be too small to fit 3 platters, luckily a nearby table had not been occupied so we utilized some of that space. The first time I visited we were at the bar, which is just next to the lounge, the seating there is limited so you might want to get in early. The drinks and food are very delicious. I've had their crab cakes, shrimp and chips and fuse burgers. They have a wide selection of wines, cocktails, mimosas, mojitos, beer and much more. Give the "Face down in a fish bowl" a try! NOW the thing I enjoy most about the M bar experience is the music, the dj was amazing, playing old school jams, hip hop, R&B and Caribbean hits, most of the patrons (myself included) could not help but to get up and dance! Never got the chance to go needles to say I will probably never be going after this. The marketing and promotions team seem to be on two different pages. They promoted for a week about free birthday tables just text your birthday. My birthday just happens to be 12/31...I rarely get to do anything in the city because it is either way to expensive for me at the time or if I do go your standing in line most of the night. After someone mentioned that the menu price does not match the quality of the food I came here and see that some have had similar experiences...not all bad though. So I called because I wanted to know what I was to expect, how many people that I would be able to fit at a table since I have a few family and friends that were celebrating with me...only to be told that the confirmation text that I received was not confirmed and all tables were reserved. Basically if you did not pay for the table your confirmation is null and void and the person or persons that sent out that ADVERTISEMENT on FACEBOOK and sent the text did so in error...for a whole week. Now I'm not above spending money or paying...it's the mere fact that a communication error on the part of their team was not addressed appropriately. They did not contact ANYONE and let them know that there was a mixup. AT THE LEAST give me the option to pay for the table or make other plans. Your first priority as a business owner is customer service...it irks me the lack of customer service in some of my pplz businesses. C'MON man...im a small business and i root for us all...but damn man...smh I feel sorry for the ppl who gonna go up there and have no clue. The best lounge I've been to! This place is just a breath of fresh air. We were in town from Orlando and our friends suggested this place. The ambiance was grown and sexy mixed with sophistication. The host greeted us and we sat down for drinks and food. My only complaint was that the seats were hard but you forget when the drinks start rolling in. I had chocha and it was the best drink I've ever had! Hands down. For my meal I had the F chix Fil a. Very good. I will be back as soon as I touch down in Atlanta. Highly recommended. I came to MBar to celebrate my sister's birthday, and they really took care of us! I have a Type A personality so I called before going and 1. they answered their phone which most venues do not! 2. Vic who I spoke with was so nice and helpful. When we arrived he seated us quickly and the server was very attentive (and beautiful!) They played good music that was a mix of current and classic hip hop jams. We didnt order much food so I cant speak to that, but the fries were yummy and our drinks were good. My sister had a great time because they made us feel welcomed and appreciated. I definitely plan to come back! So I visited M bar last weekend with a friend because I heard great things about it. The atmosphere is nice and for an older crowd of people 35+ (Or at least this past Saturday it appeared that way). The DJ played a variety a old school and new school music. The drinks can be a bit pricey but are definitely worth it! The bartenders are fantastic and do not disappoint. However, the only downfall to this spot is the hookah, it is not good and overpriced. My friend paid $40 for us to smoke hookah, which was not worth it in my opinion. Parking can be a hassle on busy nights, if you want to park for free and not pay. However, if you are familiar with Atlanta you probably know this anyway. Booths also seem to be pretty affordable if you want to rent one. Great place to drop by and check out if you're looking for a chill night of fun or if you are in the area. read more

I wanted to take a moment out to genuinely express my gratitude for the last-minute accommodations that were made for my birthday on a Saturday night. My friends ended up driving in to town at the last minute to celebrate with me. I had extremely well communication the management team, everyone was very accommodating. We went here on a Friday to celebrate my friend's birthday. I haven't gone out in awhile so it was nice to get out of the house and hang with some girlfriends. We went really early so we were the first ones there so we got prime seating. We were served right away. They had $5 drink specials which were great! All the drinks we had were great and reasonably priced! No complaints and I am very critical of mixed drinks as one who is used to preparing my own for others and company. The music was great - enjoyed all the songs they played. The seating isn't the best in terms of comfortability. The food was good. I ordered sliders and parmesan fries. It was well prepared. This is cool spot to go on a night where you don't want to hit a club but still want to socialize with good music in the background. I like the DJ he always plays a good mixture of old and new school. The music videos are a great touch! The drinks and sharable plates are good as well. My only complaint is the hookah and parking. The parking is pretty non-existent and the valet prices change by the day. The hookah is way overpriced at $45 and it burns too fast. Other than that its a cool friday/sun night spot. I was here for my birthday, super bowl weekend and I had reserved a vip table for 4. The first thing I didn't like was that the owner tried to change the price until I was able to pull up our text and my cash app deposit. The second thing is they DID NOT have a vip table for us! They had to go in and ask people that was already sitting at a small very wobbly table to get up and move for us to sit there. Along with that this place was just not upscale like they advertised that they are. It was very ratchet and hood, people smoking weed in the bar. Another thing is they don't have a dress code you can just wear anything in this joint. Also they had no tissue in either bathroom. This spot is too tiny to even allow folks to reserve that many tables. Absolutely ridiculous. Service was good. The music was great. The waitress was attentive. The location and parking is terrible. She tried the OMG tacos (were to soggy) and I had the HITTMFN tacos. They were ok. Our waitress was aloof. She didn't write down my drink order. I had to ask her again and she said she thought I didn't want a drink. When I finally got the drink, it was all ice and a little alcohol (pissed cuz it was $10).
