Now I know what all these people are talking about this lovely Blinkie's donuts and the shop. Lately, I have been having a lot of sweet cravings. No, I am NOT pregnant. :-) just cravings like most people have. Walked in this morning around 10am & was greeted by couple of employees. Both very nice, sweet, helpful and kind. They have so many different donuts, croissants, sandwiches, hot and cold coffee, espresso, latte, bottled drinks and more.. They have an indoor and outdoor seating and the place is super cute and very clean, chill and you get what you pay for. I got a dozen donuts from them and tried one on my way home and it was just decadent, fresh, fluffy and the frosting isn't overly sweet. Has parking and a restroom for their customers! Will definitely return next time I am in the Encino area. Established back in 1960 & Winnie/the owner of the place took over ownership in February of 2023. My son and I decided to be bad and grab a few donuts, so we stopped by Dunkin' down the street and bought a half dozen. We got busy and never ate them that night. The next morning, I opened the box and realized how small the donuts really are for the price. Compared to Randy's Donuts, there's really no comparison. Further, they become a bit hard. There's also another donut shop south of the boulevard on Topanga Canyon (I believe around 4872 Topanga Canyon Blvd) that does an excellent job. If you go too late, they're usually sold out -- which says a lot. Sometimes driving a little farther for better quality, larger donuts, and fair prices is absolutely worth the trip. read more

We stopped by for coffee and ordered the egg & ham croissants. While the presentation was lovely, the flavors felt a bit simple for our personal taste and didn't seem quite as fresh as we were hoping. The coffee also wasn't our favorite on this visit, so overall the food and drinks didn't fully stand out to us this time. That said, the space is truly beautiful and creates such a calm, inviting atmosphere to sit and relax. The service was especially warm, kind, and attentive, which we genuinely appreciated and made the experience feel welcoming. Had no idea there was a Blinkies here. As a fan of the one in Woodland Hills, def had to check it out since I was the area. Came past noon so I'm sure the selection would be slim but there was a good amount. The salted caramel caught my eye but I went with my go-to of the maple old fashioned. Absolutely delicious. The one who greeted and helped me was absolutely lovely. The lot was packed but luckily i had parked across the street at the commons. Nice inside with a good amount of seating for inside and outside. read more

I've been using the good to go app for Blinkie's for sometime now. Every time I have gone there, the owner has been super sweet with the donuts that she selects to give me. They are super yummy and super fresh and a wonderful addition to a sweet treat. A hidden gem in Encino! read more

We've been eating at Blinkie's for the whole fifty years we've have lived in Calabasas. They have had several owners and all have kept up the quality and taste. They have now have a second location in Encino. An easy choice for good donuts. read more

Date: July 20, 2025 Been seeing Blinkie's pop up on my Yelp home page for a while now and finally had the time to check it out! Stopped by around 8:30am and there were two other couples there. Super cute interior with plenty of tables and a long bench along the walls for seating. They don't have any specific pricing listed or a 'menu' so it's basically you pay per donut you choose and they'll tell you the price afterward. I believe 'regular donuts' were 1.95$ and 'special donuts' were 3.95$. They also sell croissant sandwiches and coffee. Although the donuts were good, I can't justify spending 4$ on a donut that's equally as good as a 2$ donut. That being said, I did enjoy our selection and will be back to try the other selections. Just came into the store to pick up a delivery order, and there were two employees present. The woman at the front continued helping other customers and then told me she hadn't even started my order because it got busy. The response felt unprofessional because what does that have to do with me as a delivery driver expecting a completed order or at least almost complete? My order wasn't even large, it was like 5 donuts so there was no reason for such a delay. Instead of starting it or having the other employee assist, she continued helping other customers while I was left waiting. On top of that, no estimated wait time was provided, which I felt was rude.Overall, the lack of organization, communication, and basic customer consideration is unacceptable. I thought about coming here to try their donuts but after this interaction I changed my mind. read more

Really enjoyed my maple old-fashioned from this bright, new, clean, local chain - this location's in a mini mall. Coffee was very good. They have 6 pots of different coffees plus a variety of creamers, sweeteners, all self serve. There's several types of donuts, traditional options and the newer stuff with quirky toppings (cereal, bacon, mango/tajin, etc) My companion thought their buttermilk bar was just okay. I stopped in recently and picked up a half dozen donuts and a cup of coffee. I tried a mix of traditional donuts (maple bar, glazed buttermilk), some filled donuts (custard), and some specialty donuts (Homer donut, cookies and cream). All in all, the donuts were good. They weren't greasy or tasted like old oil, which is a definite plus. The maple bar was a bit dry, but had good flavor. It wasn't super sweet but not bland, either. The custard donut had a good amount of chocolate frosting but a little light on the custard. The custard itself was creamy and again, not too sweet. The buttermilk donut was surprisingly good, with a subtle coconut flavor to it, maybe from coconut oil...? The Homer donut was deliciously cake-y and moist, and the frosting made it taste like a birthday cake. The cookies and cream donut was a bit disappointing though. The cream was bland, with not much chocolate flavor, though the donut texture was good. The coffee was pretty standard, but smooth and flavorful. The staff were helpful and polite, and the shop itself is spacious and has plenty of seating in case it's too hot to sit on the outside tables. If you're in the area, this is a nice spot to pick up some delicious donuts! read more

Had a very pleasant time here choosing fun flavors with friendly service. Mercy (Mercedes) was great and helped us with tasty recommendations. My favorites were the samoas and the strawberry. My husband really liked the lemon (had nice filling) and salted caramel. Our absolute favorite was the mango tajin! Tried them yesterday, wanted to support new local business, and I'm SO glad I did! The donuts are on par with the best "bigger business" donut shops, they are delicious. Bought in the late afternoon and they were still fresh and soft. They have flavors I've never seen in other places too, like salted caramel and strawberry-banana. The customer service was excellent too. Definitely try them out. My family ate them all in minutes of opening the box. read more
