***So I decided that after a year and a half to give this place another shot. Maybe they had an off day, ''tis the season, whatever. I just need a quick manicure, simple. I walk in at 11am, there are five girls doing hair and no nail tech that I can see. I stand at the front waiting for 5mins (I timed everything this round). Then I sit in a vacant chair and wait another five mins. Still no acknowledgement. Then a girl goes to cash out a customer and I ask her if anyone can help me? She says IN ENGLISH "I don't speak English". so she yells at one of the other girls in Spanish and the girl literally screams "what!?" Looks pissed and never stops what she's doing. The first girl then shrugs and without saying a word to me goes back to starting someone else's hair. I stand there for another seven mins...and I call game over. I was never ONCE helped, asked what I needed, given a time estimate, etc. while having waited 17 minutes. HORRENDOUS PLACE, tried and true. FUN FACT: here, if you pay with a card you have to pay a $2 card service fee. WTF?? Instead try Silk Nails down the road on 49th. They had (and I counted) 8 people in service and yet greeted me, gave me a time estimate within 30 secs of walking in. and got my manicure all done in 35 mins (they were busy). And it looks perfect and they were all Asian and spoke both their own language, English AND Spanish. Plus, cheaper w NO bogus card service fees. Absolute GARBAGE. I called in to have a price quote for my girlfriend to have her hair tips cut and hair blow dried and the rude lady said $30. When she got there and after they finished also telling her the same price, they charged her $45. The lady rudely screamed at her saying that was not what they said that the cutting is $15 and the blow dry was $30. I prefer to burn my money than to give it to such a terrible, low life, run down, ratchet business. This has to be the most terrible business in Hialeah with the most uneducated individuals in the city. Para los que hablan español, no gasten su tiempo ni dinero. Never go to this place, be careful this people don't know what they are doing I had a terrible experience, they don't care about you at all. She only wants to make money and see as many customers as possible at the same time. I went to do my hair coloring to this place and the owner who was supposed to take care of me because I made an appoint one week before starting seeing walk ins and she left the product in my hair for too long and burnt it! She even cut a piece of my hair while she was washing it in the front without telling me! It was the most horrible experience I ever had! She even told me that my hair was fine and I saw it was orange and burnt. I had to go the following day to another place so they could fix it. Excellent treatment the owner Barbara has been processing, cutting and highlighting my hair for now 6 months I haven't been this happy about my hair for the longest time. I highly recommend them and there's no B.S. price is reasonable too plus shops near by to enjoy. I will never go else we're. read more

Giving this salon five stars just because of one hairdresser! Chaly!!! She has been my sister's to go stylist for years. I finally tried her out earlier this year and I have converted from going to just Dominican salons/hairdressers to Chaly. She is only here on Fridays and Saturdays :( she is located at another salon Mon-Thurs. Chaly is very knowledgeable when it comes to products and treatments for your hair. She goes to conferences and trainings often to keep up with all the latest trends and products. I am Cuban but up until I met Chaly I would only let Dominicans touch my hair. I thought that they were the only hair gurus. Boy I was wrong! Chaly is half Cuban and half Greek! I am of Afro-Cuban descent and my hair doesn't usually comply with my demands and people usually have a hard time getting it to do what I want it to, but her hands are magical! She has a great personality, she is social but doesn't force conversation. What I love about her is that she does a fantastic blow dry and iron in pretty good time. It usually takes me over two hours to get my hair done at a salon. I was out in about an hour and fifteen minutes. The salon is not the "hippest" but I prefer a quality product/service over the aesthetics of a place, especially a hair salon. The owner has really great prices on their services. This salon is in Hialeah so you can expect to hear a lot of Spanish being spoken. It definitely feels like you're at your Tia's house getting your hair done by your Tia's neighbor in your backyard. Again, it's Hialeah don't expect Brickell Spa services or Coral Gables ambiance. BUT YOU GO FOR THE PRODUCT, I GO TO GET MY HAIR DONE BY THE G.O.A.T. NOT TO GET CHARGED AN ARM AND A LEG TO SAY THAT I WENT TO SUCH AND SUCH PLACE AND MY HAIR LOOKS LIKE CRAP. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! I have had 2 awful experiences on this salon. However, for time sakes I will discuss the last occasion. Scheduled an appt for a gel mani and pedi for $30. Went in and was immediately sat with an older lady. I had a photo they had posted on Instagram and right away the lady says that they no longer have any of the 2 colors in the photo. I then selected a mint green. She started with my hands, which is odd, as the feet take longer to dry. Didn't say a thing. She then roughly files my natural nails with a stronger grit nail file. Doesn't even allow my nails to soak 5 min. Within 5 min time the mani is done and she is painting away. I was not looking as her sloppiness was killing me. She then says she is done. I was appalled! Missing pieces, streakiness, painted cutilcles. I was honest with her and told her that I was unhappy and why. She blamed it on the polish. It was such a bad job the other manicurist agreed. She then had to remove them and I then told her to just do my pedi so I could go. Again, sloppy, but better than the gel mani. A kind hair stylist noticed how unhappy I was and did them for me, so that I wouldn't leave without anything. She did a much better job. To top it off, they had the audacity to try and charge me 40, not 30, as I did my nails with seperate women! Didn't happen I paid 30....tipped the last girl and left. I loveeeee this salon! My hair always comes out perfect ! They are amazing at correcting hair color. I went in with unicorn hair because I deiced to change my hair color myself. I walked out with perfect even hair color. The prices are GREAT and affordable. I even got a mani & pedi for $20 but make an appointment because she seems to be super busy and you have to wait. read more

Horrible service. I went to get my nails done for a special event and the lady couldn't even do a simple French nail. Not only did she put acetone in my nail polish but she didn't properly soak her nail tools. She even went as far as to charge me extra than the price I was told from her in the beginning of my session. Never going back again. read more

I WAS ASSAULTED HERE BY TWO EMPLOYEES DO NOT COME HERE!!! with all the nail places in hialeah, let alone miami, this is one you need to avoid at all costs. i did my nails twice there, because it was a lot cheaper than most places, but always knew in the back of my mind that this psycho of a nail tech Doris did not know the first thing about acrylics. since i always did fills, they would came out okay. YESTERDAY, however, when my sister and i came in for full sets, the nightmare salon visit began. first she cut the tips way too short, my fingers look like chiclets after i asked her to just go A LITTLE shorter than last time (mind you i usually get CLAWS) I was easygoing about it and thought whatever they will grow. so i let her keep going. once she put WAY TOO much acrylic, all the acrylic expanded and dried into all the crevices of my fingers leaving the sides of the nails all completely stuck to my skin. as if this wasnt already painful enough, instead of doing some attempt to unstick the acrylic from my skin before filing, she just went in with the file and starting CUTTING me, no, im sorry, SLICING my skin with the file. about four fingers in with cuts and even bleeding, i still remained passive and asked her to please change the way she was doing my nails , instead she kept going at it with the file and stuck acrylic on skin, slicing away at my skin with a file, me in excruciating pain and she got upset at me for complaining, began raising her voice, trying to argue with me and stormed off cursing after i suggested calmy maybe someone else can do my nails. the redhead that did my sister fixed mine, which not once did she cut me and they both came out decent. this is when the story gets good. when i went to go pay, the redhead gave me a ticket of 110: 50 for two pedicures, 35 for my sisters full set and 25 for my ful set. i thought ok theyre only charging me 25 for the inconvenience. WRONG.... doris comes to the front with a second ticket of 25... EXPECTING ME TO PAY DOUBLE FOR A SERVICE AND FOR A SERVICE THAT SHE COULDN'T EVEN FINISH, CUT ME ON MULTIPLE FINGERS AND TREATED ME LIKE CRAP. i told the owner i was only going to pay for the ticket of the redheaqds, which was only fair because she did all the work, the owner accepted it but doris immeditately began to get in my face, yelling, cursing, it was so ghetto, asking me who was going to pay her for the supplies she used, this is all in spanish and these psycho employees forgot were in the states and not in cuba anymore, i wanted to laugh, no it gets better, she gets in my face starts making threats to punch me in the glasses and break them, then she tries to act like a hardass, starts removing jewelry and her black salon coat. she came at me at full speed as im signing my receipt, digs her nails in my shoulder trying to grab me, i guess to fight, my sister gets in the middle to stop her and doris' friend who looks like a gorilla, who is also a hair stylist, also gets in my face, FOLLOWS me out of the salon at full speed and also grabs both of my shoulders digging her nails in them. i guess this was their stupid attempt at fighting, because even though they laid hands on me twice i was waiting for someone to throw a punch or pull my hair so me and my sister could really start dragging weave out of there. all the other employees, even the owner took the crazy fighting girls side, oh and these arent even girls these are 40-something year old women. in a matter of 2 seconds this salon quickly turned into something that loooked like a street fight was about to happen. my sister and i who are 18 and im 21, if we wanted to we could have dragged those old hens, but we decided to be the bigger people and get the hell out of there. we should have called the cops but had our day schedule filled and werent going to let these unprofessional psychos ruin our plans for the day. i have never seen someone create the biggest scene over 25 dollars, act so unprofessionally, especially when they were in the wrong, and actually put their hands on me, let alone a grown woman. that is all. read more
