It has a nice bar you can sit at and it is populated by various chair and tables clusters that give it a nice lounge atmosphere. John is very attentive and very knowledgeable about wine. You can always count on him having a nice selection of Craft Beer available and the charcuterie boards he makes are always great! Vintage Vino, a wine bar located in historic downtown Kissimmee, is one of four venues in the town's City Centre. On the corner is 3 Sisters Speakeasy, a upscale sports bar; next to 3 Sisters is Sushi by Chef Ha's; then next in line is Vintage Vino; and finally at the end of the building is Chef John's Dockside Inn. Our visit to this wine bar was really positive experience. It is small--very small--but what it lacks in size it makes up for in atmosphere, presentation, and great wine at a good price. We were told that they have 50 beers available by the glass, 50 wines available by the glass, and 150 wines available by the bottle. I ordered a flight of Shiraz/Syrah wines and my wife had a flight of Merlot wines. These flights are not on the regular menu, but someone in another review mentioned that we should ask, and so we did. John, who I believe is the owner, was very happy to accommodate the request. After selecting three wines for each of our two flights (see the photos I uploaded), he took a fair amount of time explaining his decision process and each wine's characteristics. Since I know next to nothing about wine, I usually find this process to be a bit uncomfortable. However, I didn't feel like that here. When John was done we sat back and enjoyed our three glasses, which were really good. Although I don't know much about this stuff, I feel like John did a great job choosing wines that contrasted with each other to create a balanced presentation. It was a very relaxing, educational, and enjoyable occasion. And the total price for our two wine flights with tax? $21. Overall, our time at Vintage Vino was a charming and rewarding experience. I am extremely glad I came across this place on Yelp, and even happier that we actually went. Bravo to the owners. And don't forget... once you have had your fill of wine, you are right next to two restaurants and another two bars (including the dive bar, the Wicked Stepsister, which is across the street). read more

This place is absolutely amazing. John, the owner was there to help us with wine selections. It's very cool, you don't need a menu, he just asks what you do and don't like and then he makes the perfect selection. The ambiance is calm and fun at the same time. The music is eclectic and has a nice vibe but not too loud to have a great conversation. We love reds and he had many choices for us. We started with some nicely selected 3 oz. Flight tastings (you get 3 different 3oz. Flights per tasting) referred by John and a board of cheeses that were all imported and out of this world. We then transitioned into full glasses of the wines we fell in love with. John continued to be our personal sommelier and he educated us in the different regions and different environments that create the wines we love. All and all we adore this spot and would highly recommend it to anyone. Also if you're hungry, it was super cool, we were able to order from the restaurant next door, but not just as take out... When I think of Kissimmee gems, this is at the top of the list. Charming and intimate, Vintage Vino is a wonderful place to try great wine and have a great conversation. I love the two seats in the nook between the shelves right in the middle of the shop. I always feel like it was specially reserved. Service is personal, John the owner has been there for each visit. We were greeted by a caped Lady Loaf (She was there after a some type of meatloaf festival and she recommended some of the wines and introduced us to the manager, Jodi who was very knowlegeable about the wines in the shop. We recently moved to Kissimmee and discovered this little gem. Unknowingly, we walked in late during a sake tasting class so we got to overhear the class on sake while drinking our wines. There is a great selection of cheese and wine. The owner, John, was very kind and served us personally. What I like about this place is how they're always trying new events. There are flight nights, wine pairing classes, or field trips to different cuisine hotspots like Bern's Steakhouse. Something else I liked was the close partnership between all the restaurants on Dakin Ave. For example, I ordered wine from Vintage Vino, while my boyfriend ordered a martini from the shop next door. I wanted to find a place with a great price for a flight of Wines and happy hour for my friends in downtown Kissimmee, FL and I found Vintage Vino online. I loved the service and two of the Wines. The Riesling and Peach Moscato wine were delightfully sweet, addictive, and yummy. My friends and I loved the Ambience. I adored the giant wine glasses and the fact he placed the bottle of wine by each glass. We each had three wine glasses of wine for each flight. The wine was ample too. $12 a flight unless it had more expensive Wines. Happy hour had $4 select Wines and beers. Dinner from nearby restaurants are served here - so convenient. The bathroom area required a punch in number password for Vintage Vino. Service was not the quickest but we managed to get our refills and food soon enough. The furniture and seating was very comfortable and inviting. I was very happy to come, relax, and chat here with friends! I will definitely come here again and again. This is a new business in the City Centre block. It is the wine bar I mentioned in my review of the Three Sisters Speakeasy next door. I couldn't remember the name of this place. We got sort of snockered, thus another first to review slips through my fingers. The missus and I spent a couple hours here on a Saturday evening. Comfortable place. Small little bar with a TV over it. Good selection of wines at fair prices. The owner (?) spent a lot of time at our table, suggested wines, let us try samples. We got 'enthusiastic' and ended up buying bottles. Boy was no fool. With the restaurants on either side and the cigar store, this whole block is a nice addition to that part of the world. read more

Ended up here after dinner at chef johns dockside inn. Great nightcap! The waitress was very knowledgable and the owner also spoke with us for a few minutes. Very cozy setting-- we sat in the comfy chairs near the entrance. Prices were very competitive! We had the b.r. Cohn wine, which had a great story to go with it, told by the waitress. Me and my wife go to VV pretty regularly and have never had a bad time. My wife loves wine and I'm a craft beer guy so it's perfect for us. There's no bar with a better craft beer selection or wine selection in Osceola county. Every Wednesday is beer night, there's specials on his draft selection plus discounted craft bottles. Theres live music on select nights. Plus you can order food from the restaurants that are next door and they will bring the food into the bar. But what makes VV is John the owner. He really welcomes you and I don't think I've ever met a friendlier owner. He's a true expert at what he does.
