I had an absolute DISASTER from great clips which granted is totally on me. They literally took less then 10 minutes and left me feeling like Cynthia from Rugrats. A friend of mine, Joelle, goes to Lihn for her cut and color and told me that she could fix it. Lihn is an absolute miracle worker. She was able to not only blend it so you couldn't tell it liked like a five year old took sissies to my hair but also made me feel like a million bucks. Do not go here for Botox! This was only my 2nd time receiving Botox ever and I should've stayed with Texas Laser & aesthetic who are amazing. I only went in to have my forehead wrinkles softened, and a day later ended up with a low brow, and hooded/droopy eyelid. (See photos) The owner at Bliss is also the med spa esthetician and after I contacted her a few days later with my concerns, that I had eyelid drooping, she assured me it was only a "slight" difference, and to come back in & she would "tweek" it. There is a considerable difference in the way my face looked before as anyone can see in the photos. I showed up for the touch up, and she tried to tell me it was because I needed to do $200 more worth of Botox between my eyebrows to bring everything back to normal. she also said "we're all our own worst critics", and pretty much worse comes to worst "it's not going to last forever." Feeling uneasy about the whole experience I came home and googled "common Botox mistakes", and sought out a 2nd opinion. I was told the reason for my eyelid drooping was because there was initially too much Botox put in my forehead bringing everything down, and it was weighing my brow bone down which was what is causing the eye drooping. I contacted the owner a 2nd time, explained to her that there was no change, and now I was concerned that adding more Botox to my forehead and eyebrow area was going to make things worse, she was very dismissive and just said again "give it a few days" Well.. it's been a week tomorrow, my eye shows some improvement, but is still not equal to my opposite eye, and now I'm stuck with it until it wears off. I didn't even bother to contact her again, the unprofessionalism with the entire experience is what has lead me to write this review. Save your money & go some where else.. read more

Ever since I found Linh at Amp Diva I have been following her to Bliss Med Spa as she is renting out her station here. It's in downtown Round Rock and there is plenty of street parking and small parking lot on the side. It's easy to schedule an appointment with her just give her a text and she usually gets back with you same day. I just love Linh! She colors my hair and I have been a loyal customer ever since I met her a year ago. She makes my hair shiny and soft. And her head massage is one of the best yall! read more

Linh has been doing my hair for almost 2 years and she recently moved over to Bliss Salon. The salon is really peaceful and it's got a vintage glam vibe which I love. I cannot say enough amazing things about Linh! From my very first appointment ever, she consulted with me on my color, asked questions to understand what I liked and made recommendations on what she thought would work based on my natural color and the look I was going for. I purchased a Groupon for Balayage highlights from Bliss Med Spa and Salon. The ad failed to let you know that it was not recommended that you have zero color in your hair prior to purchasing the coupon with the Balayage option. When I called to make my appointment, I was told by a mildly condescending receptionist (later identified as Michelle) that it would turn my hair orange. I was happy to find out prior to getting the treatment since I had no idea and was happy to have a professional to ask questions to even though I felt a little like a child being scolded. I was told I'd be compensated for the extra cost of my Groupon for getting a different treatment and went ahead and booked a session with Lisa. All in all, I'd say I'm okay with my end result. I ended up getting all over highlights, a cut, conditioning, and all over color. Not what I originally wanted but it's not terrible. A basic service but done very well and professionally. I just had my heart set on something specific but was disappointed I wasn't even given much advice on how to go about getting balayage highlights in the future or if they were even going to be an option for me. It wasn't clear to me how someone is supposed to get balayage highlights (requiring no color treated hair) yet maintain coverage of grey hair with an all over color treatment. I asked a few questions but never really got a true answer. Lisa was sweet, informative, and attentive when we were one on one. Only thing that bothered me a bit was how the stylists interacted with each other apart from me and the amount of industry gossip happening around me. A little unprofessional in my opinion but maybe a sign of an extra comfortable work environment since they all seemed to be good friends and long time co-workers. Its just that I came in to get my hair done not hear about how terrible a former coworker Andrea was to deal with and listen to them laugh at her current job position at another salon or how dumb they thought another prospective Groupon customer's question was after she called to book an appointment. Makes you wonder what they said about my questions or about other customers once they've hung up the phone. Overall, I obviously have mixed feelings about my entire experience. There was some good and some not so good things. One thing is for sure: I won't be back. read more

My wife went to have her hair cut and styled. A few days later she noticed that both sides are not as even as she thought that they were. She was willing to go back to have them fix it but she wanted to choose a different person because she didn't trust the original person that cut her hair. They would not work with her as far as fixing your hair with a different person or refunding her money in full. We were told that they were sub-contractors that the original hair stylist would be willing to give half the money back. We would never recommend anybody coming to this salon. The other stylists seem like nice people but nobody was willing to help us out and fix my wife's hair. My wife ended up having to go and pay $50 to have her hair fixed someplace else. read more

It is like a boutique salon with the added benefit of being able to get cosmetic procedure done on site. I was excited to get my hair done by Chelsea after all the great reviews but I was very disappointed with the results. I thought I loved my hair at the salon but the lighting was a little off...when I got home it looked like I was one of the girls from Jersey Shore. When I told the stylist I wanted burgundy and purplish highlights she said she would have to lighten my hair because her products don't work well on darker hair...why would you not be prepared for clients with all types of hair color? She made it sound like I was inconveniencing her. While she was putting bleach in my hair she said she had a haircut appointment coming in so she stopped working on me to fit in someone else. In total it took three and a half hours to get my hair highlighted which is beyond ridiculous. It looked fine at the salon but when I got home it looked RED, a very cheap red, instead of burgundy. I also can't see the difference at all between the "burgundy" and purple highlights the color looks the same all over. When I mentioned that it appeared that some hair pieces were not dyed she ignored my comment and commented on her own hair. When I got home I was able to see that a piece in the front was not dyed. She also did a terrible job of blending the highlight into the roots, it looks like it started right after the root. I am going on vacation next week and tomorrow is my birthday and I am so upset about this. The girl was nice and fun to talk to but I don't feel she is great at highlighting darker hair and doesn't have the right products for darker hair. I wish I had known this beforehand. This salon needs to make sure their employees can serve customers with all hair colors and do a complete dying job. I'll have to look into getting in fixed. read more

I visited the salon and I had my baby boy with me. The staff was very nice and welcomed us. I was very excited to get my partial highlights after I purchased a groupon but well... I had a picture and I showed Andrea that I want a lighter brown highlights (knowing my hair is dark brown and I specifically mentioned that I just need it a little bit lighter from my original hair color). I walked out with orange/copper hair locks :/ I think if I had blonde hair, the result would have been okay but for a brunette, I'm not sure... read more

I never have really taken the time to write a review before, but I feel it is my responsibility to warn others about the experience I had with the hairdresser there named Andrea. I had long beautiful brown hair...I went in for a 3:00pm appointment and left by 3:15-3:20 with a short choppy haircut that wouldn't even do Great Clips justice. No checking for even cuts were done, I had to asked to be styled with my wet hair trying to hold back tears because I now had to deal with a cut I never would have asked for. What was confusing about: "I would like a face frame, side swept bang, long layers, and about 2-3 inches off."???? My hair was cut in a jif taking at least 7-8 inches off...I felt like I was being punished for something. I really am so upset and there is nothing I can do about it...besides warn you. Please do yourself a huge favor and avoid having the same experience I did. read more

AMAZING!! I had my eyelashes done by Carol Shave using a Groupon and they look gorgeous! I did a ton of research and was a little nervous because the Groupon price was so low, but they look fabulous. She put single strand lashes on, and you cannot see any glue, they look so natural and WOW at the same time. I would highly recommend Carol, she was professional and answered all of my questions and really knows what she is doing. read more

Let me start by saying STAY AWAY FROM ANDREA!!! She stood me up at her salon twice! She sent me a text the second time that said sorry something came up. She is so unprofessional and I was minutes away from writing this place off when Kim walked up to the front to check on me. Kim was with a client and after one glance at her book I could tell she couldn't get me in. She was booked everyday until 6 but after she heard what had happened Kim said she would stay as late as she needed to so that I could get my hair done for Christmas. Kim is an angel and her clients love her. I will come to her from now on and I encourage everyone to come to her as well! Andrea gets negative 5 stars but Kim is this place's saving grace! read more

Started seeing Kimmie in April of this year for my hair.She is great at listening to you concerns and gave me the best cut ,color and highlight I ever had. Will never go to anyone else. Michelle is also fantastic. She is great at what she does and doesn't try to provide a service that she doesn't think is good for your skin.Recently had my eyeliner tattooed with Michelle.
