i have been to bliss before, my nails always look great & i am a bit picky when it comes to the shape of my nails. i visited bliss today because i got my nails done at another salon yesterday evening & felt like my nails were rushed as they were half painted, crooked, & the acrylic was uneven. today i got my nails fixed at bliss & i am beyond happy with the result & the price charged for a gel color change & reshaping was fair. thank you louie! read more

I honestly don't know how this place has 4 stars. I made an appointment for 9am (very first time to get in) I get there and they are just opening the place. It's literally still dirty from the day before. The nail tech (guy with tattoos, I don't know his name because he never introduced himself) comes in and immediately starts barking orders. Doesn't even say hello. From the moment he started working on my nails he was super rushed and irritated. He aggressively moved my fingers around and then begin to make huffing noises and give dirty looks when my fingers won't contort in ways they literally cannot. From there he proceeds to insult me not once, but twice. The first time asking if I've ever had my nails done before as if I was such an extremely difficult client because my fingers wouldn't basically twist upside down. The second time when he guides me over to the pedicure chairs and starts grunting and hand signaling for me to get in by asking me if I had just woken up. I've had my nails done since I was a teenager... more than 15 years. I've never been treated in this manner. To top it off I waited 20 minutes after they put me in the chair (with an appointment) to get my toes done. The water was cold by the time they got to me. The girl who did my pedicure did a good job. I don't want to not give credit where it's due. But the overall experience was horrible. Especially after I got to the front to pay and my total was $119. That was for a fresh full dip set with some lines painted on the fingers and a gel pedicure with callus treatment. Don't get me wrong, I would happily pay that price for great service and a great job but the nail tech was sub par and down right offensive. I haven't gotten a full set since I had my last baby and really was looking forward to treating myself. This was not it. I would never recommend this place ever. read more

I got a pedicure and dipped nails here. Not happy at all. My pedicure was fine but my nails not so much. First the place was dirty. There was nail dust everywhere. When the girl did my nails they were so thiIck and she missed the corners on 4 nails. I asked her to do the tips only. She did my whole nail. I called them to see if I could could them fixed and the guy who I think is the owner was very frustrated that I was calling. I made an appointment for two days later, but decided not to go. I walked in and stood at the front desk there were at least five employees that saw me waiting never even said anything to me. Hello? Can I help you? Absolutely nothing!!! I am traveling to my brothers wedding & needed my nails done for it. I made an appointment & told the tech before she started on my nails 2x I'm allergic to rubbing alcohol & she ignored me fully & gave me the look like was crazy. Then she was prepping my nails & I saw her reach down & pour some clear liquid stuff in a little glass bowl. She puts it on the counter next to me and proceeds to dip her brush in it to put it on my nails and I stopped her. I asked her what is that and she responds alcohol. And I looked at her and I said you cannot use that. I am highly allergic to it. She rolls her eyes, slams the brush down and then grabs my hands and starts aggressively, trying to clean my hands with the water and ignores me from then on and does the most crappy job I've ever seen done & looked like a toddler did it. Her attitude was uncanny & and not okay. I would have broken out in major hives & chemical burns if she would have used it. I paid & left as the vibes there was awful. I ended up going to another salon & paying out of pocket to get them fix my nails that this tech here had screwed up fully. I'm warning do not step foot here or at least do not use their nail tech Mary as she is rude & beyond mean when she doesn't get her way nor does she want to follow the rules given if you have an allergy like I did. Oh and fyi the prices you see are for cash only & they up charge it if you use a credit card. They have a sign when you walk in 5% off if paying cash. read more

I had tried so many different places up here and was not finding the quality of work that pleased me. I had lost all hope and was driving 2 hrs to go to Chandler then back just to get my nails done. I stopped going there because they kept shuffling me around from person to person taking really forever.

I've gone to this salon many times in the last year and almost each time I tell myself to try somewhere new next time, but the convenience has me coming back. Most of the time my nails are ok when I leave, but my main issue is with the lack of pride in the salon. If the owners would spend even a little time to make the salon not look so sloppy. The sticker clocks that are peeling, the disorganization of the colors/gel/dips, pictures that are not aligned, and the amount of dust that covers everything could easily be fixed if they would put away there phones and actually look around to see what could be improved because that is what your clients are doing the whole time they are getting there nails done. Do better, it's very possible with little effort. read more

I think this was the worst experience I've had. I'm very natural in my approach to life. I chose the organic pedicure and non-gel. The girl asked why I didn't want the gel and I explained that I tried it once and it required acetone to get the polish off. After that she proceeded to put acetone soaked cotton swabs across my toes to take off normal polish and let them sit there for awhile. Overkill! She pour more acetone across my feet later. I have never had that happen. The place looks nice,, bit it stinks like chemicals the minute you walked in. The work on my feet was not great, the polish didn't even cover my entire toenail. Getting pedicures is one of my favorite things, I will never step foot into this salon again. read more

You definitely need to schedule an appointment but don't expect to be seated on time. It took about 15mins before being seated. When you look at my nails from the side it's not even. I even tried addressing it but it still looked the same. They also up charge like no other. I used to go to a nail tech down in Phx for 3 years and get extravagant nail designs so I'm not new to paying for quality. But $100 for a full set with colored tips and simple star design is insane! Which some stars are slightly sloppy. That would usually cost $75-$85 in Phx. Clean place but be prepared to be up-charged. read more

I have come here for a long time and the service keeps getting worse. I won't be back after today. I am a hairstylist/salon owner and I understand being behind. I waited for 30 mins with my 6 year old before they took me back. I can get over that. But then, the guy that did my nails (Kevin) I believe took 1 1/2 to do dip! That's unbelievably long. He kept messing up because he was rushing and was going to send me out the door with awful nails. I then had Lynn fix them. She was so sweet to do that. Anyway, awful service. i am normally an easy person to please, that being said i've been to bliss 5+ times for pedicures to full sets. i've had great pedicures every time, always a scrub and soak can't be too upset. also the staff is friendly. now i get to the sets, i am a dip girly nowadays and it's usually super quick and easy for the most part. the last few times i've been serviced it's been unclean and so rushed. this past time i asked for a colored dip with a matte tip, (they use straight from container ) it took 2 hours due to rushing and the tech having to reapply/file product. i'm not saying it's a bad business i just work hard for my money and don't like being pushed through a service done half assed, i was charged $100 dollars after i asked for them to be fixed, everything is expensive so i would appreciate to be treated better especially for the price. read more

This is a great place to get your nails done. They are very busy so make sure to call ahead and see if they can fit you in. Pedicures are amazing. I go to the person sitting in the front when you walk through the door sitting vertical with his back to the wall and he dose such a great job. My 70 yr old grandma went in with her granddaughter for 2 manicures and 1 pedicure. When leaving she was shocked that not only her nails looked puffy and like they had a disease (she got gel) but shocked that it was also $168 for such little work. Left a review on Google to which they asked us to provide contact info to provide refund. Called in and they asked us to physically come in so we did. The boy there proceeded to break down the costs (which we already knew) and continued to argue with us why they weren't going to give full or partial refund. The employees sitting down glared at us. The whole experience was very unwelcoming and they took advantage of a 70 yr old women. If they really cared about their customers they would have addressed this issue way better. I don't care to be contacted or have this resolved because I already tried. Hope the public knows the truth of these poor business practices and takes their money elsewhere. I came to this salon after seeing all the rave reviews and the amazing nail pictures on their Facebook. I make an appointment for 6pm for a gel full set and get seated relatively quickly. I show my nail tech, Anna (I think, she looked like she was about 15yrs old.) a picture of what I wanted. Very simple, square gel nails, left clear. She starts by applying false nail tips that I believe were too small for my nail plates. She starts applying the gel to multiple fingers and the gel starts running all over my skin; even I know, you apply the gel to one finger at a time then cure in the lamp. After multiple people come up to her to tell her how to do my builder gel full set, the nails are horribly lumpy and crooked and even missing gel in spots. She starts to file them into a coffin shape, i correct her saying , I wanted square with rounded edges. The nails were all jacked up, when I went to pay, the young man asked if I was happy and I said no and that I will never be back. He sits me down and attempts to fix my nails, by this time is is well after 8pm and they closed at 7pm. He gets them square enough I'm not completely unhappy after lecturing me about how builder gel is an old technique and I should of gotten acrylic. I still went home and had to file and buff down jagged edges. I will never go back to this salon, they could of had a long time customer, I'm always getting my nails done and don't have a problem spending money for a job well done but they suck. read more

Really disappointing with this place. Been once before and had ok nails done, not great, but relatively ok. Nail tech was half an hour late but I figured things happen, that's alright. Made another appointment 2 days in advance at 4:30- arrived at 4:30.. and waited.. and waited and watched my nail tech finish his other appointment before me, walk out of the salon.. go in the back and make himself coffee.. disappear for another 20 something minutes return and walk back outside. I finally told the receptionist, it's a few minutes to 5 and I thought he'd at least be a quarter of the way done. He walks back in as I'm leaving and says "I'm ready for you" I told him I made this appointment in advance.. days in advance.. and I thought I'd be seen at said time.. he responded with "well I can take you now.." I said I'm sorry, it's a half hour past the appointment time.. no. Called back on the way home and spoke to the receptionist, who told me because he is training her, appointments are going over. I asked if I could set up an appointment for the 12th because I live 30 minutes away. I asked if I set an appointment could she make sure to have me seen at appointment time.. she said no. I have never felt so ignored as a customer. If I show up in time for my app, I expect the person to do the same. 10 minutes and half an hour are totally different. Won't be returning. read more
