She is an experienced nail tech with 31 years under her belt and can do EVERYTHING, right down to 3D nails, design, and gel builder nails using the correct techniques and materials. I was so pleased to have found her and she took me in on a Friday evening (She normally doesn't work on Fridays or Sundays) and taught me so much I never knew about proper nail care and techniques. She asked if I wanted to cancel my appointment and I was at work when she texted me so because I didn't respond within ten minutes, she texted me saying "Let me know because I have to book other clients." Trish is a hidden treasure! I came to her with my nails being in pretty sad shape and I didn't know how to fix them. She is very gentle on the nails. I have gotten my nails done many times, had regular manicures and acrylic in the past and always gotten so much of my natural nail ground down at other salons, or the tips were put on too tight causing pain. This was my first time trying hard gel and I LOVE it! Trish gave me the perfect shape and color. This is the best my nails have ever looked walking out of a salon, and I'm in my mid 30s. Trish just does it again and again. Since I live in the Bay Area and I only get to come south for the holidays, I've come to value her services even more than before. My nails last for up to 5 weeks and always stay intact. I usually bring pictures for her to do my designs but she always surpasses the pictures! I have gotten so many compliments on my nails. She has a really good eye for colors that go well together and design ideas. This last time, she recommended a design with jewels (I had never done this before and was a bit skeptical they would fall out) and they lasted until my next visit. I felt just as comfortable using my hands for daily chores as I would have had I done a regular manicure with just color. I admit that hard gel can be a little bit more pricey than acrylics/gel but people should be more informed about all of the benefits that come with it and the risks of using the latter for the nail bed. As someone who has been looking for hard gel in the Bay for a whole year, has had to experience chips after 3 days, low quality hard gel, uneven shaping, and excessive layering at other salons, this is definitely the place to go!! read more

I made an appointment during the week, which we had to reschedule for two days later, and I was totally more than okay with that. Because after reading others' reviews and seeing pictures of Trish's work, you know she does an amazing job and takes pride in what she does. In all the time I've gotten my nails done, this was the best experience I've ever had. Her private salon space may seem small from the outside, but it's pretty spacious, really clean, and organized. Trish herself is super sweet, funny, and you can tell from the start that she really cares about her clients. She stands by her products (only the best from Japan, by the way) and she gives you her professional opinion on what's best for your nails. She introduced me to Japanese hard gel and I don't think I could ever go back. It doesn't compare with what they use in every other nail salon--it feels lighter on your nails, yet it's stronger. She applied the black polish I chose perfectly, and I asked for a little bit of glitter, too. Her prices are reasonable and she does an amazing job. She can do any style you want. Even when I'm super picky she always smiles and deals with me lol. The salon is small and intimate, there are 2 spa chairs where you can get a pedi from Ann who is also amazing, and one desk. You'll never feel like you're being crowded or have to worry about feeling like just another number. They also have water and coffee and even wine sometimes. Normally I do my own nails at home. It's a hobby of mine and I enjoy doing them, but sometimes it's good to have a professional do them and Trish is amazing. She's funny and professional and makes the experience relaxing and fun. The salon is at the end of the hallway with two large spa chairs tucked in and a desk. It seems cramped when you look at it from the outside, but it is actually quite spacious. It feels like a private spa experience and that is something I truly enjoy. Many salons in the area have at least a dozen employees and a long line, but not with Trish. She doesn't have to worry about rushing the job because there are 6 other people behind me. I have crooked fingers so when she started to do my fingers, she realized my nails would then be crooked. She stopped midway through the other hand when she noticed. Trisha took the time to start over and that sort of customer service and professional integrity shows her pride in her work She takes her time and makes sure her work is solid before you leave the salon. I've mostly had pedicures here, but today I got a set of acrylics and I love them. Perfectly shaped and polished, I know they will last. The sheer number of colors to choose from can be overwhelming, but Trish always has a good suggestion and I have never left her thinking I wanted to go over her work in favor of my colors at home. If you want that semi private and personalized experience, Trish is the person to see and this is the salon to go to! read more
