The technician seemed completely uninterested and did the 15-minute massage so halfheartedly that I actually asked her to stop partway through. I understand having a busy or tiring day, but customers shouldn't receive a service that feels like the technician simply doesn't want to be there. There were several other things that made the experience feel careless. Everyone around me was offered a drink, but I wasn't. I didn't receive the usual pillow with a towel for my lap, and very little attention seemed to be given to my cuticles or the care of my nails. When the gentleman at the front desk asked how everything was, I told him, "It could have been better." He didn't ask any further questions or seem concerned. The front desk was also very disorganized, with the employee repeatedly leaving the desk while customers were waiting in line to pay. I've always liked coming here, so I hope this was simply an unusually bad day. But today's service was not at all the experience I've come to expect from Golden Nail File, and I left very disappointed.

She shaped my nails slightly almond so that it looks longer too. Terry took her time with my nails and really made sure to clip my cuticles as much as possible. However, she over-clipped one of my cuticles and it tore off some extra skin making it sting during the UV. And on top of that, there was a three-minute massage included, but it was probably the worst hand massage I've ever had--she just kept going over my fingers again and again instead of massaging my hands or arms. I typed this earlier, and by the time I got home 45 minutes later and started opening my mail, my nails were completely ruined. This is officially the worst manicure I've ever gotten.
