Got my refill sent these today, out of nowhere I was told that will not refill it because I get all my meds at the North Hollywood location. Um huh? He was rude and didn't even listen to me. Told me to call my local CVS and tell her to transfer my order and he will send the medication to there. . The second call was the kicker. I call my local pharmacy, she was dumbfounded, told me this prescription was not able to be transferred and that I need a new one from my doctor. geezus, do they speak to each other? SO, I call back Woodland Hills. I asked to speak to a manager, oh guess what, she left..of course. I spoke to some lady who was ruder that the first dude. Now, all of a sudden, they don't have my order anymore, even though I see it on my CVS app. At this point, I am beyond frustrated. Hung up with zero resolution, I then called CVS Caremark, who runs my prescription, she had NEVER heard of CVS doing this. This is still CVS and not a whole different pharmacy. She gets nowhere. You would think they would give me the courtesy of filling this due to being out and NEVER being told this "policy" NOPE, UNWILLING TO HELP ME. At this point, i will be calling my union today to see what other pharmacy is covered by my insurance and I will be transferring out of CVS, This is all due to the 2 "customer service" reps at Woodland Hills.

Let me start by saying that Carlos, the store manager that I spoke to at the end, handled the situation beautifully. Prior to that I had walked to the back of the store to the restroom to wash my hands before beginning my shopping. What I saw upon opening the door was the most disgusting mess I had ever seen some human actually do to a bathroom. To say it was horrific is an understatement, and to whomever did this, "What is wrong with you?" I quickly exited and saw a pharmacy employee to my immediate right, telling him what was in there. He mumbled something and pointed forward. I figured I'd find someone else who would actually help. Another employee was walking out of the pharmacy into the hallway by the bathroom, and I explained to her the conditions. What did she do? She told me to go up front and tell someone. My reply was,"I thought you could tell someone or get help, since you work here." Her response to me was, "I work in the pharmacy," to which I replied, "Well I don't work here at all!" I went immediately to the front, asked for the manager, and Carlos was so kind and actually helpful. Shame on these pharmacy employees - who also use that bathroom. So good luck to them today, as they were just heading into their 30-minute lunch break when this all happened. At 8:30 this pharmacy called me and asked me when I'd like to pick up my script! I was sure there would be a wait, so I called to check and the person I spoke with told me it was ready and I could come in at any time. I arrived 15 minutes later and when I walked in, the pharmacist asked, "Are you Dan?" and after checking ID, etc walked from behind the counter and proceeded to go over every medicine in the bag, one by one making sure I understood the instructions. Total time inside was less than 10 minutes, and I've never received service like this at a pharmacy! Thankfully, I don't fall ill often, but the next time I do, I'll absolutely be back. I was never notified of the cancellation, so I called to understand what had happened. At CVS, you need to leave a message and the pharmacist will call you back. They called me back in a timely manner, which is appreciated, However, as the call connected, I overheard the pharmacist making disparaging comments about my voicemail to another employee, and they were both laughing about it. I was shocked and found it unprofessional and disrespectful. When I addressed what I had heard to the pharmacist, the conversation quickly became confrontational. Rather than acknowledging my concern, the pharmacist became defensive, stating that she was the one who was offended - justifying her rude and combative behavior. I couldn't understand why she was the one who was offended (is it because I called out the behavior?) When I asked for her name, she replied only, "Pharmacist." I clarified that I was requesting her actual name, at which point she hung up on me. I immediately contacted corporate to report the interaction. Patients should be treated with professionalism and respect, especially when calling with questions about their medications. A simple apology or professional explanation would have gone a long way. As a result of this experience, I transferred all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy and will not be returning to this location. Very disappointed in the way this pharmacist spoke to me, I hope she doesn't treat people this way on a daily basis.

I still walked inside the store to get familiar with where things are if I was to come back here again. The photo department is on the left side of the store and the pharmacy is toward the back. The prices of things will vary depending on what you're looking for but most of the time, it is pricer here than other places from my experience. I found parking easily and they also have destinated parking spots for curbsides pickup.

He often has a straight face and comes across as unfriendly. His attitude seems to depend on the day, but customer service should be consistent. Unfortunately, he's very difficult to deal with, which makes the overall experience less enjoyable.
