I have been a customer at this location for MANY years. I get a prescription sent to this location due to the location I get most of my meds is pretty much always out, been doing this for over 6 years. Got my refill sent these today, out of nowhere I was told that will not refill it because I get all my meds at the North Hollywood location. Um huh? He was rude and didn't even listen to me. Told me to call my local CVS and tell her to transfer my order and he will send the medication to there. . The second call was the kicker. I call my local pharmacy, she was dumbfounded, told me this prescription was not able to be transferred and that I need a new one from my doctor. geezus, do they speak to each other? SO, I call back Woodland Hills. I asked to speak to a manager, oh guess what, she left..of course. I spoke to some lady who was ruder that the first dude. Now, all of a sudden, they don't have my order anymore, even though I see it on my CVS app. At this point, I am beyond frustrated. Hung up with zero resolution, I then called CVS Caremark, who runs my prescription, she had NEVER heard of CVS doing this. This is still CVS and not a whole different pharmacy. She gets nowhere. You would think they would give me the courtesy of filling this due to being out and NEVER being told this "policy" NOPE, UNWILLING TO HELP ME. Do not use this pharmacy! Absolute worst experience with the pharmacist on the night of 8/9/26. Attempted to call in prescriptions for a patient and the pharmacist became upset when I did not refer to her as Doctor - "she did not like my tone". She then hung up on me and every time I called back, hung up on me repeatedly. I tried calling from my office number and she left me on hold (sitting on hold as I type this). When she finally answered, she admitted to leaving me on hold because she didn't "like my tone". Thank goodness this was not a medication that my patient needed urgently. Most large drugstore chains are not what they used to be. This CVS is one of the larger ones and it seems to be stocked a bit better than some of the others. It is located in the El Camino Shopping Center. Being in a big shopping center provides plenty of parking, which is a plus. This is not my main pharmacy, but I stop by on occasion when I am visiting other establishments in the shopping center. The workers that I have encountered have been helpful and I am able to find items in stock that other CVS locations do not have. This store is open 24 hours a day, and I believe the pharmacy is only closed for 30 minutes at lunch. If you need to find something during the middle of the night, this is your location. read more

I've been up here in Woodland Hills for the holiday and have had to fill a couple Rx's while I am here. This Pharmacy Tech named Annie is one of the rudest people I've ever dealt with, for real. I honestly really feel bad for the elders in this community who are forced to have to interact with her on a weekly basis to pick up their meds. It's pretty bad. And I overheard her chatting with one of the other pharmacy staff and using some pretty vulgar language. This is my preferred CVS location. It's bigger and it feels like they have more in stock than other locations. If you stop by the beauty department, check out the big device that's draped in a black cloth. With the help of an associate, it'll be able to show how much sun damage is on your face and they can recommend products for you to use. If you go to a dermatologist, it'll cost you at least $100 to use a device like this. This location lets you do it for free. If Claudia is working, you're fortunate because she's really sweet. My review is simple - customer service matters. The people working inside were friendly, but the pain medicine case was locked up and it took 10 minutes to get the case unlocked. Then self service check out errored 3X. 25 minutes to buy a small bottle of Advil is not good CX . Pretty simple. read more

It's fine. This location is a neighborhood staple--it's where all the Calabasians and some Woodland Hillians buy their drugs. The store service is far nicer than any CVS, Rite Aid, or Walgreens I've ever been to. There is absolutely no cell service or WiFi whatsoever, which is super frustrating when you're trying to get prescription medication for yourself or others. The refrigerated food section is lacking, but they have a good selection of candy. They have any OTC drug you'd ever need. Lines can be long. Parking is abundant. Annoying teenagers from Calabasas and El Camino high schools hang out in front. read more

i love the technicians at this location. they are so kind and hardworking but ever since Rite Aid shut down and CVS absorbed most of the Rite Aid refugees, the pharmacists have been lacking. I spoke to Ashkan who used to work at the Granada Hills Rite Aid and he was refusing to help his colleagues with the phone calls and other discretionary tasks. I know this is a very busy pharmacy so I would assume that an "all hands on deck" mindset should be shared among the staff to get everyone in and out as quickly as possible but I guess not. It rubbed me the wrong way to see him watching soccer videos while not helping this colleagues. This visit, I met Trish/a and although she seemed down to earth, she was struggling to read my father's insurance card even with her glasses on. When I pointed out the pharmacy information they need to input into the computer, she was confused on how to input it. Now i used to work in the pharmacy setting during COVID but that was a whole lifetime ago and im not sure if my pointers were helping because o'boy was she LOST... i gave up on her and told her to return my dad's medicine and i will transfer it to another location to see if another pharmacist or technician would better help my family. I had such a bad customer experience at my local CVS, I have been going there for my meds since 2001. I am still so upset and angry ! they are thieves and shorted me 1 of 3 symbicort inhalers. I was handed a stapled paper bag and didnt open until I got home!(my mistake). when i contacted CVS store pharmacy via phone and in person, they treated me like a criminal and inferred that I was lying. they had me wait over an hour to see video of the pharmacist bagging the 3 inhalers, (on may 31st at 4:07 AM) but instead showed me a screen shot of the inhalers on a counter, no bag. the manager called later and said I should come back to see the video of the ACTUAL bagging of my order. basically they are saying i am LYING! read more

A Middle Eastern young man stood behind the counter at the pharmacy when it was my turn next in line. Instead of asking me for my birthday, he asked for my last name. He then proceeded to loudly repeat my last name for everyone to hear. I said I would give him my birthdate, but he wouldn't even let me complete the sentence when he began yelling at me again "I can't hear you! Give me your ID". I asked why he needed my ID and he began to yell again "It's because I can't hear you". I gave him my ID and said "in the past all I ever was asked was for my birthday" and he began to yell again "that's because I can't hear you". I'm a former teacher and I have a normal speaking voice, but this young man was hostile from my initial encounter. I was wearing a religious symbol around my neck and I can't help but wonder if it is my religious symbol that caused this Middle Eastern Muslim to be such a hot head. Called asking to check if the fan I'm seeing online is actually in stock, you placed me on hold stating you would send someone to check, picked up my call to ask "how can I help you" after you had placed me on hold, to which I said "you placed me on hold, you supposed to check if you guys have fans in stock" immediately said "no" and disconnected my call... I checked again online called back & told you I saw in stock online in a rude way you said "IT'S NOT" & disconnected my call again. Called again just for you to pick up and hang the phone... called again & a gentleman answered, checked & confirmed you guys actually have multiple fans in stock.... Which I actually came in and bought. Mind you the gentleman did lie & gave me a name of (Patricia) over the phone when I asked who might've answered my phone call... when I went into the store it was FAZILE at the register... my fiancé and I went to the aisle where the fans are and boom multiple fans, got in line when FALIZE saw us in line she immediately called for back up, and started getting super nervous while ringing up the customers prior to us, me being petty I then went back to buy lashes (which I needed) had FALIZE help, who I kindly asked "hey are you the only person up front today, I called earlier & they said you guys didn't have fans, but I see a million behind you up top on the last aisle & a couple on aisle 6" FALIZE immediately respond with "oh, you spoke to my other co worker who left at 1am, her name is similar to mine) it was 1:06 as she was telling me this, the lady even charged me twice for my lashes... MORAL OF THE STORY, you signed up for customer service, serve the customer... that's not cool, why lie or be lazy enough to not even check, simply be honest and say , "hey we do, it's busy at the moment if you wanna hold it'll be a min or if you want to come in but I don't guarantee anything" I've never had issues with this store not even the pharmacy as everyone says... usually call my PCP make sure my RX has been sent in & check with the pharmacy before going in... just this incident, had to post as I hate liars specially when it's your job, it's what you get paid to do. read more

I came from Hollywood for a scheduled vaccine before my insurance ends and this location was the only one with appointments today. I waited in line for over 20 minutes before talking to someone, and she seemed to have trouble using the computer to find my appointment. Took forever and then she had to call over the pharmacist to help her. They found my Rx in the system, but.. Despite having a valid Rx from my Rheumatologist, the pharmacist refused to give me the vaccine I needed because I'm not old enough, apparently. I tried explaining that I'm immunocompromised, and thus eligible for Shingrix, but that didn't matter to this egoic worker. She knows better than my own specialist doctor, I guess. I needed a prescription filled. I called and left a message. 45 min later I get a text message saying it was filled. Dropped in and picked it up pretty quickly. I have to say- it's pretty convenient! 5p on a Friday they had a lot of staff working. I was really surprised - pleasantly surprised to see that! Thank you- it's nice to have such a nice resource nearby. Not too long ago- I needed a flu shot and Covid shot for work. I was able to schedule online and come right in with minimal waiting. I thought this was a great pharmacy after years of abuse at the old Rite Aid Pharmacy on Ventura and Topanga Cyn (now gone). My complaint is paying $5 a month for the Care Pass, and trying the "free delivery" service. Received a UPS mailing envelope (plastic bag) and when I picked it up out of the mailbox it sounded like the bag was a rain stick. Open it to see that the bottle was broken, paper pharmacy bag torn, and pills everywhere and smashed to bits. Tried to call at 11:07am, to receive a "sorry, the pharmacy is closed at this time" message. Selected option to hear pharmacy hours, which said "closed for lunch 11:30am-noon." Also, cannot find any way to contact the pharmacy online. Otherwise, pretty ok pharmacy when you go in person. I'll be cancelling my Care Pass. read more

Review pertaining to the pharmacy: This place is terrible. No wonder they had so many open slots for Saturday boosters, apparently the neighbors know something I don't. True, this location *does* have two stars, but I wanted my booster on a weekend to recover in case of side effects. I was 15 mins late to my appointment because the check-in pharmacist was held up with the woman in front of me while the nurse was calling my name. I couldn't get to her. Finally, when I did, she walked away for ten minutes. When she came back, she was not gentle giving me my jab. The person after me who checked in with the pharmacist wasn't on the nurse's roster and sent to the check in pharmacist a second time. Who then sent them back to the nurse to get the shot. I have no idea why this Calabasas store gets such bad reviews! It is so big and clean and nice with fabulous employees who help out with a smile on their face. I went there today and she helped me pick a nice mascara and some cream for my heels. Then I went to the register and Mercedes was so patient with me while I tried to use all my coupons to the best advantage. Another reason why I love CVS is because they always send me 40% off and other deals. By the time you shop there everything is like 50% off. Best part about this CVS? well I spent 10 years on active duty serving this country, I now have stage IV cancer thanks to it. I cannot work so I only have my VA insurance(tritest). I come to pickup my medicine for chemo related side effects(just atropine for bathroom problems) and low and behold I get told it's a controlled substance and I cannot use Good RX on it for that reason. I cannot get it through the VA because they only issue what is on their "FoRmUlArY". This place does not recognize VA insurance So it counts as me "'NoT BeInG iNsUrEd!" and since atropine is a super dangerous "CoNtRolLeD sUbStAnCe" I cannot use a coupon and get charged twice as much as everyone in line. Man I wish there was another 24 hour pharmacy nearby so I didn't have to go to this hell hole. Thank for the support. read more

A friendly employee is sometimes all it takes... as an insulin dependent diabetic there are occasions when one is not feeling well but life goes on. My wife and I had the need to pick up my prescription. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly and attentive, I think she knew I was not feeling well and we just simply appreciated her demeanor. Employees make the business and good ones are often times the very reason we chose the location we do business with. I see the negative reviews on CVS but I'm not in agreement. Most CVS experiences rightfully are rated low. For a health related business the service experience is subpar and most employees make no attempt to be helpful. This one happens to be a 24 hour pharmacy which is critical to the community and a guy named Daniel in the pharmacy actually is extremely helpful and goes the extra mile. read more

This place is a disgusting example of what is wrong with America today, I want to start this off with saying I have never given them a reason to treat me like a criminal however any time E I walk into this store I am questioned, Followed around or Accused of stealing. It's gotten so bad that last week I went to return some items I bought a few days before with the reciept in hand, (when I paid I used Apple Pay,) I get to the register where moments before the man behind the register was helping a young pretty woman so much so he even found her a decent discount on her items, so I walk up smiling and say hi if like to return these items I have the receipt right here, he gave me the dirtiest look and said I need the debit card you used, so I explain that I had used my card on Apple Pay and he goes sorry that's not the right card I won't do your return, confused and a little annoyed I explained I was just there a few nights prior and that it was the correct card after a few minutes he finally does the process to return my stuff, he then at the end starts questioning why "all of a sudden" would I want to return these items, under his breath he whispered "so you can go buy more drugs?" And proceeded to refer to me as a homeless drug addict to his coworker, i signed the paper and left well that was over a week ago and my bank has no record of any money being returned or anything pending in my account. So this store went from harassment and verbal abuse to theft now too. All I can say is this I will never ship here again I've contacted corporate and their claims department but it doesn't make right that the company hired such disgusting people to work at their store. I would give this specific location zero stars if I could and I have a good mind to file a theft report against the store for the almost $200 they haven't return. read more
