The restaurant was a surprise since it was on a golf course and in a residential area. The decor wasn't fancy, but pleasing and simple. When we walked in, it was happy hour, so the bar was very noisy. We went to the dining room where it was quite pleasant and wasn't affected by the bar noise. Our server, Amanda, was very attentive to our needs, and answered all of our questions. When our food arrived, we felt that we were transported to Italy. The portions were large and delicious. My creamy pesto bowl was filled with pasta and was accompanied by a large ball of homemade mozzarella. It was truly scrumptious. I wanted to finish it, but my stomach was already full and I had to bag it for takeout. This is definitely a hidden gem of a restaurant.

First off, the portion was embarrassingly small, four bites of carrots, mashed potatoes... A rip off at $29. Granted, the bread is wonderful... our experience till last night has kept us coming back on a regular basis. However, the pot roast was a complete disappointment.

A group of six guys went to lunch. We decided to go here. It was great!…read more Now to the review, When we walked in, we were met by one of the staff who immediately sensed our dismay at there being no table for six. Being a big man, he lifted a table in to position and placed the appropriate number of chairs around. It only got better from there. Menus from this young man. A young woman, who looked about thirty showed up and I introduced myself. "I'm Kate", she responded. Drinks? Three Diet Cokes, two waters and a beer (a local IPA from Ormond Garage). She promptly remembered all our names and we got down to looking over the menu. When she came back, we ordered from all over the menu. schnitzel sandwich, "Tilt Burger" (don't ask), chicken fingers, turkey wrap, "Tilt Burger" (don't ask) and mine was the corned beef Benedict known as "The Irish". The food was on the table in a timely fashion. All except the two "Tilt Burgers" (you can ask now). The young man who seated us should have relieved the slight waitress and brought these to the table. The burgers looked too heavy to be lifted by such a slight young woman. Ham, cheese, BLT, large burger patty and an egg. All the meals were excellent, the service great and the fun as advertised. Kate allowed as how she five kids and two grandkids. She didn't look her age. To find that last fact out, you'll have to go. Five stars and more for a truly Florida experience, on the beaten track, but maybe not. They needed some Tabasco.

Even when I was in a restaurant, the lady was letting me know that this was a very good choice and she did not lie. Next time I'll have a picture but for now I will say the restaurant is beautiful, the service is great and the plum wine is just as flavorful.

I wanted to treat my friend to a nice meal for helping me pack and didn't want Panera even though…read moreshe suggested it because I wanted something nicer. Randomly chose Pop Thai and so happy we did! It's a very nice restaurant vibe with house music playing, very attentive staff and the food, so delicious! We couldn't find it originally and drove past it so when we were trying to figure out where it was, passersby overheard us and said, that's our favorite Thai and pointed us in the direction. It's part of a long shopping strip with a variety of shops, but they're on the corner and street parking is available. We ordered chicken Thai salad, one of the currys and veggie rolls. The chicken Thai salad was extremely flavorful and so fresh and light, even though I hadn't planned to eat any, it was so good, we had to share.:) I added potatoes to our curry and it was an extra $2 chg. The chef was cute and made our rice mound into a heart. Perfect combo and lots of chicken with the veggies. My only caveat is the veggie rolls were a little mushy and I would pass on them next time. Everything is so flavorful otherwise and it was nice to see real Thai people working there. We learned our waitresses real name, but I'm tired and can't remember now. I went to a Japanese restaurant recently and nobody was Japanese. It really makes a difference in authenticity of the food when they come from the area they're presenting. Highly recommend this place for lunch and dinner. Yummy!!!!
