I have been going to blonde faith for a long time, and they do a good job. I've kept my same stylist, Tracey for years but despite the the squeezed appointments she maintains for clients. I've never complained, because her as a stylist isn't the issue why I am choosing a different salon. It's the customer service experience. When asked for other stylist if Tracey wasn't available I wasn't answered, only rebooked to a date I am not available. I asked for a phone call not communication over text and my request was simply ignored. For these two reasons customer service is important for me when I spend close to $400.00 every visit. Let me start off by saying, I have pretty much given up on finding a good blonde specialist over the years because without fail, it's just never quite the right tone and ends up yellow/warm/brassy no matter what I do. For context, I love my natural ashy blonde hair color but I have quite a bit of gray coming in at the top so most stylists color the root brown when trying to give me that "lived in" look, or they just go too blonde all over and it ends up looking really dense without any dimension. I did a good amount of research before scheduling a consult with Lauren Goodwin, and she mentioned low lights - something I've never had a stylist suggest before. I decided to just go with it and trust her and I'm so glad I did! I've truly never loved my hair color after leaving a salon, but I absolutely LOVE IT!! Idk how she managed to match my natural hair color, but it is not even a shade off. I've also had a lot of damage over the past year and she managed to keep my hair health intact. I had no clue this salon was so enormous! From the outside it looks a lot smaller but once you get inside, it's huge. The vibe is such cute too. I booked a haircut online and admittedly, it was a bit confusing at first. Maybe not confusing but overwhelming trying to understand their stylist tiers and pricing. I wish I could remember the name of the lady who cut my hair. I want to say with was Jule or Jules! She was super sweet. I truly just wanted a nice, good cut as my make can be quite unruly from time to time. It's large and in charge and has a mind of its own. She did exactly what I wanted and my hair has grown out nicely. I'm definitely in need of another cut and will be back in for a second visit soon. Her assistant was also very lovely and did an amazing job blow drying my hair. Definitely recommend. Originally had a great experience at this salon last year, but my opinion quickly changed after my last visit a few weeks ago with a different stylist. On 5/25, I received a full highlight and cut by Eva. During the service, I was left under heat for OVER an hour with bleach on my hair while the stylist squeezed in another client. Once she finally washed the bleach from my hair and she saw the damage in the bowl, she then tried to push an $80+ treatment for the damage she caused. Although we did agree the we would not go all the way to my root with the highlights, the underside of my hair is still completely dark as if it were never touched. I paid almost $400 for this service only to leave with damaged hair and what looked like a partial highlight. Not to mention the highlighted pieces around my face were super patchy and did not blend with the rest of my hair whatsoever. Whenever the service was completed, I could not see the damage done to my hair as it was styled and had many products in it. Only when I washed my hair the next day was the true state of my hair revealed. The bleached pieces are stretchy when wet, and the breakage I have experienced since this service is absolutely insane. I emailed the salon with my complaints as it states to do on their website, only to receive NO response. I waited weeks for any type of attempt to make the situation right and received nothing. It's disheartening to know that this salon doesn't care about their clients. Please don't waste your time or money here. read more

$506 later and I didn't get what I asked for. Appointment was on Valentine's Day 2/14/24. Pic 1 What I got Pic 2 Before Pic 3 What I specifically asked for Katherine is an Emerald Level Stylist there and I expected to be impressed but I was disappointed that 1. It didn't look like what I asked for 2. I was quoted $410 in the chair and then rung up for $430 3. Her assistant burned my left ear with an extremely hot hairdryer. I showed Katherine exactly what I wanted in the inspiration photo I've attached. She said it required all over highlights which was fine but as you can see I have no dimension in color. There are no chunkier or money pieces woven in like I asked for. I could have gone to a much cheaper salon, paid less than $250, and gotten the same flat highlights I left with. To add insult to injury while the assistant was blow drying my hair she burned the top of my left ear. I immediately asked her to stop and started rubbing it and told her how painful that was. This was her response verbatim: "Oh I'm sorry, this is the hottest blow dryer we have in the salon and I don't know why!" Instead of getting a different one she continued on with this blow dryer that is a liability- my ear is ok now 5 days later but what if someone else gets more seriously burned?! That is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I left feeling disappointed, and disoriented by the sticker shock, and with a burnt ear to boot. Everyone I've shown this to (I also posted a review on Reddit in a Subreddit for hair advice) has said the same thing: I overpaid by half, and it doesn't resemble the picture. I should also add that she didn't do anything extra like a deep conditioning which would have cost extra. And my hair was already at the length I wanted so all she did was a light trim that took her less than 5 minutes. I can't with good conscience go back there. Half a grand including tip should look better than this. Please save your money and go somewhere else. read more

However, I wonder if the charge was due to having two people working on my hair, at all times. Both of them deserve to be paid. Would you mind explaining that model and how it works within the salon? Maybe this salon is better at coloring than haircuts, as my experience was not good. I went in for a bob cut and came out with an uneven, choppy cut that was not flattering. When I was turned to the mirror, I visibly saw longer pieces. The hair cut was quite fast and I thought for sure she wasn't done yet, but she only touched up areas after blow drying. I didn't like how the haircut looked in general so I asked if it could be layered more or try another style, but there wasn't time, which I understand, and she said to book another stylist who specialized in bobs. I asked for more layers because I thought that would help it not looking so thick on the sides and more tapered but she said my hair was too fine and you'd see my scalp. I went home and my daughter took me straight to the bathroom and trimmed all the uneven pieces and I really tried to like it but it was choppy and wouldn't lay right even with gel, a round brush, and blow drying. After 3 weeks I went to another salon. The lady said, "Your hair is crooked!" Luckily, she fixed it and cut it exactly how I wanted, with layers and not sticking out on the sides. Layers did NOT make me see my scalp. She took her time and cut my hair wet and then again dry, going over it several times. I didn't come home with longer pieces sticking out. My hair doesn't even have to be blow dried to look good. The salon that fixed my hair charged $30. Blonde faith charged $70. When I was not happy with the haircut, the only option given to me was to book another expensive appointment with another stylist. I won't be returning. One star because I did like the shampoo she recommended. I was so excited to get an appointment here for my birthday present to myself. It was such a disappointment. read more

Let me start by saying it's a wonderful hair salon with lots of talented stylists ! The staff is always sweet and welcoming and love the vibes in there ! They are accommodating and friendly! I had always loved this place until today. I have been to blonde faith salon before for color services and never have been disappointed. But today was my first time getting a haircut here ! And am totally disappointed! Guess I just booked a wrong stylist ! Firstly today I felt rushed during my appointment! I had nice long hair and there could had been so many nice hairstyles that could had been done. But to my disappointment all my stylist did was chopped the length of my hair !! What no I could had done that at home also!! I had to ask her to do something more like add some layers or do something that would add little volume or style. I was clear that I wanted short but nothing over my shoulder and main goal was to do whatever it I'd, but I should be able to tie all my hair ! so no bangs or short fringes . Probably I will advice if you want a cut , to do a bit research on who you are booking with. I just had time constraints and so I booked with the earliest available, but now I feel I should not had rushed it. This is not any cheap salon and I assume all the stylists- be it be any level are well trained! Or at least could be upfront if they aren't comfortable with something! Just left with so bad haircut ! I was eager to visit this highly popular salon in Austin. After thoroughly reviewing the website, I chose a Level 4 stylist, confident in my selection of both the salon and the desired color treatment. However, my experience quickly deteriorated. The first stylist Eva J. applied color to only one strand of hair during my appointment, which began at 1:00 PM and ended at 4:12 PM. The result was far from what I had requested. The stylist appeared indifferent to my dissatisfaction and moved on to her next client without addressing my concerns. I spoke to the manager, who suggested a different stylist, but this stylist was a Level 3, not the Level 4 I had paid for. The second stylist attempted to redo the color service twice, but the outcome still did not match the picture I provided first picture I attached. My hair, originally a beautiful red, turned mostly blonde damage hair , which left me in tears. The overall experience, which lasted from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, was incredibly disappointing. Despite my protests, the manager showed little concern for my dissatisfaction and insisted I pay the full price for the service plus a tip, threatening to call the police if I refused, which I never intended to do. This experience was entirely unacceptable, especially for a first-time customer. I will not be returning to this salon, nor will I recommend it to others. The service was among the worst I have ever received. Potential clients should think twice before booking here, as they might end up as unhappy as I am. 5/23 Just received a call from Vickie the salon manager. Saying basically because I am unhappy that they will give me a refund. They never apologized or anything. I think that is the most disappointing. Vickie mention how i was not a good fit for the salon and how they will put it in my file that I am looking for another salon. As if I would want to ever come back after an experience like that with damage hair , I ended spent until now $150 hair mask and treatment hopefully to return my hair back. This salon is HUGE! I was a bit overwhelmed walking in. The waiting area was oddly small compared to the number of chairs and stylists. It's very bright and cheery with contemporary decor. But it still seemed like the salon equivalent of a factory floor. The hair washing portion was efficient but not at all decadent. No scalp massage here people, but clean hair. Luckily, the stylist my wife and I saw is very sweet and personable. The experience once sitting in her chair improved considerably. Nicole took great care of my wife and me. She's very caring and attentive. I was able to get my hair cut while my wife spent the day getting her hair colored. It's pretty expensive to not be more of a spa feel. I was recommended by a family friend this salon and specifically Lauren as a stylist. From what I saw on instagram her work and the other salon stylist work was great unfortunately that wasn't the case for me. I knew my desired look would take multiple sessions but my hair came out worse than how I came in. She first made me go back to a brunette which was the opposite of what I wanted and then tried to reverse it. Too much product was put into my hair trying to resolve the issue and left the salon unhappy. My roots were copper red and the rest of my hair was the strawberry blonde I already had. Although the salon finally refunded me for the very expensive treatment it was very frustrating to have to deal with people who didn't seem to have much empathy. I also had to reach out 3 times just to get notes on what was put in my hair because I wanted to know if another salon/stylist and can fix it which they couldn't due to the products that were applied. This salon was very different (they had no coffee or snacks) I starved for 6hrs in that chair. It might work for you but not for everyone (or my people) or so just do your research and have a proper consultation. I'm just sharing my experience read more

I found Amber on Instagram and was instantly a fan of her work. I was so excited the morning of my appt. She started with a consultation to hear what I like and didn't like. She asked questions I would not have though to mention. She was gentle and very quick to apply the highlights. After processing they washed and glazed/toned my hair. To start off, I had a horrible experience with a level 4 stylist. I got my hair fixed and it was better. I continued going to the salon and about 2 weeks ago the manager recommended me to be paired with a level 1 stylist. I was skeptical but I did it anyway. Honestly, WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. The lady charged me a lot for what I wanted but the quality was terrible. My roots were turned pink due to vitamin C with hair dye or something. Super unprofessional. I am not fighting a refund against these lady's. If your main goal is to pay a bunch for terrible service this would be your fit. The place is nice on the inside, but don't be fooled by what you're receiving. I loved my service with Doris, but she started her own salon in cedar park. I've had blonde hair my entire life. It's hard to cut. Every cut shows so if you can't blend and make just hard scissor cuts, my hair sucks. It doesn't show for about two days but then it becomes embarrassingly obvious. Well, there was nothing to be embarrassed about here. Kelly crushed it. No electric hair clippers (which dont work on blond, straight hair even) and took the time to make sure everything was coming together. As I am a natural defeatist, I just knew the multi-tone-ness I came in with was going to have to go through an initial transition period with toner.
