it's been a little under a week since I got my hair cut and I can safely say I did not get what I…read moreasked for. I gave reference photos that had a picture of bangs maybe an inch above the eyebrows,, and she cut my bangs so short it's less than an half an inch from my scalp. she did ask if she could go shorter to layer the hair but I said yes but not very much extra. I also said I didn't want products and she put a thickening powder in my hair after I had asked for that part to be thinned out with scissors. after she finished she said "I give free bang trims, this is will look better the next cut" it's going to take months to grow my bangs back out so I can even just style them without having to lay them down with a headband. I can't even use a flat iron she cut the under part of the hair shorter than the top layer of the bangs. it makes no sense. paid and said thank you. everyone was also very rude and standoffish. there was 4 staff at the front when I walked in and they acted like I brought in a gun the way they gawked at me. no one even said hello I had to say I had an appointment at noon for someone to tell me I had been checked in. I've had plenty of experiences in the past where the stylist would ask me about what type of pixie I wanted and then just go ahead and do something completely different but I am happy to report that Blakeley is definitely NOT one of those! During that first appointment, she really took the time to listen to what I wanted and would check in with me throughout to make sure that I was completely happy with the way the haircut was progressing (which I was!). I've been seeing her regularly for 9 months now and have always loved how my hair turns out every time!
