Before I scheduled an appointment, Jacquelyn took the time to discuss these things with me over the phone. She was extremely knowledgeable, more so than anyone else I had spoken to. So, I booked my appointment. COLOR We did the color and extensions in 2 different appointments. It had been a while since I had my color done and my hair was in pretty bad shape. I let her know what I didn't like about my color and she made recommendations. I could not have been happier with the outcome! The color came out beautiful and was far better than I could have imagined. EXTENSIONS Since this was my first time getting extensions, I did not know what to expect. The process was fairly easy and painless. Also, the extensions matched my new color so we didn't have to color them. The number of rows and weight was perfect (based on her recommendation for what I was looking for), and the placement was based on how I typically wear my hair to ensure I had flexibility with styling it in different ways. The end result certainly exceeded my expectations! Also, she gave me a great hair care package that contained all the things needed to properly care for my hair. I am extremely happy with my results and highly recommend Jax Manes.

My stylist was very attentive, professional and disclosed all the charges related to my service before hand. My issue is with the salon itself. When I proceeded to pay, I realized there was a $9 charge for using a card. I had never seen that at a salon before. I wouldn't have mind leaving that in addition to the tip I left for my stylist, because she was the one who did my service, but a charge for a card fee, that's definitely not the norm. I would love coming back to her, but hope they revise this practice.

Well, I hit a home run, first try with my stylist at this salon. Chrissy was awesome. She provided great consultation before we began and throughout the appointment over and above my color. I had something in mind for a cut/style and she walked me through what it would look like to have that cut/style, giving me all kinds of clarity about what I thought would be a good idea. After talking with her, we made a different decision together and I'm so grateful. And her colorist skills? Awesome. When I say my base color is perfect after my first visit with her, I'm not kidding. I LOVE it. Y'all, if you need a colorist, GO TO CHRISSY!
