I recently ate at block 15 and was pleasantly surprised by the establishment and overall experience. The establishment is decorated to look very western and rustic. The tables are made of wood and metal along with the chairs and benches. The restaurant has two levels for dinning, so depending on what kind of atmosphere and noise level you desire they have a place for you. The upstairs level is all tables for customers, while the downstairs has tables, booths, and a bar for customers to sit at if they wish. The wait staff was friendly and greeted my party and me promptly as we entered the establishment. We were seated without wait and given a minute to look over the drink menu before having to decide what we actually wanted to drink. This surprised me in a good way. Most restaurants I've dined at have asked me promptly what I would like to drink before ever giving me a chance to look over the drink menu, so this was a good surprise. I did notice that the prices for drinks, both non-alcoholic and alike, were a little on the pricey side, however I did notice that the refills on soda were free. I also noticed that they had a late night menu for customers, but only after 10p.m. and only if you had a drink purchase of two dollars or more. The menu prices were not too bad. The average price for a hamburger or a sandwich was between eight and fifteen dollars depending on what you wanted and how big you wanted it. The hamburger on the late night menu however was only five dollars, so that is what I got. The five dollar burger comes with a hand-made patty, lettuce, tomato, and sweet onion all on a grilled bun. I also ordered a full order of beer battered fries, which was enough to feed an entire table of people all on its own. The wait time between placing our order and receiving our food was only about ten minutes. The food was fresh and tasted very good. The wait staff was speedy at getting any extra things we asked to make our as enjoyable as possible, while checking in with us often enough to ensure we had good service, but not too often as to be a nuisance to our dining experience. Overall I my dining experience was very good and I will be going back to Block 15 in the future. Overall I would give this establishment a 4.5 out of 5 rating, only because the drink price was a little high and we had to ask the waiter to clean our table, as it had some rings left behind from drinking glasses that had been sitting on it. read more

Long time Corvallis resident here, and have been a fairly regular customer for many years, and they've always had pretty decent food, beer and service. All that being said, they now appear to employ at least a couple of zealous self-appointed mask cops that will be sure to let you (and everyone else in the restaurant) know if they think you're wearing it improperly while walking the mere 15 feet from the waiting area to your seat. If I'm going out to spend $50-$60 on dinner and beers, the last thing I really need is some 20-something year old "Karen" yelling at me. I'll just take my business elsewhere, and encourage those in my sphere--who are many--to do likewise. read more

Great place for burgers, fries, and beer...very not good place for Wings and Tacos. Love the atmosphere and being able to doodle on the tables with the chalk, awesome staff and service, however pretty disappointed with those food items as mentioned above. We will continue to go here for the Burgers & Beer but will never again order wings or tacos. The wings were tiny, not a lot of meat and the sauce was just not what you'd expect for buffalo sauce...way too sweet. The tacos were bland and over priced. It was kind of unexpected, the poor quality, because usually they have such yummy foods. Had it not been for the wings and tacos we would have given 5 stars. read more

This place is good. The pasta is getting better and better. Only problem I had was the grilled chicken. The "customize your pasta" seemed like a good idea since I love chicken fettuccine Alfredo. The garlic cream linguine had grilled chicken added to it, and the chicken was absolutely terrible. I paid five extra dollars for something I didn't even eat. Disappointed. Very rubbery texture and tasted like those rubbery frozen chicken slabs you grill at home. Even a rotisserie chicken has better texture. I really hope the next time I come back, the chicken is better, other than that, the service was good and the pasta had good flavor read more

I love it here. My kids love the chalkboard tables and I love the food. Try the rosemary fries! There are many delicious burgers to choose from and even though I don't stray far from an IPA there are many other varieties to select from including seasonal choices. If you ask a staff member how they feel about working here they will say they feel like the place "is family" and Chris, the manager, is a riot and an outstanding customer service professional. Try to get in there early to snag a table on a weekend night because the place gets busy for good reason! read more

Comfort food with a little personality. For dinner I switched gears and ordered the Creole Sour. This one really stood out.
