I have been bleaching my hair for 13 years and have always had healthy hip length hair. I DO NOT PUT HEAT ON MY HAIR EVER. The first time I went to this salon and felt my hair after I almost cried it felt like straw..thought it was the hairspray but nope (I asked for a warm low maintenance golden blonde and emphasized the integrity of my hair) it is my fault I kept going to this salon Here is what I experienced over the 5 months I was there 1. When there was a small but very intense knot in my hair after bleaching I told her to please cut it to avoid damage. She said its ok! takes the brush to it and yanks it out and I heard a loud snap! 2. I asked for a blowout and she was so rushed I left with some pieces wet and she said "I know this is rushed but I will do a better job next time" so she even knew it was a crappy job but proceeded to charge me full for the blowout that I could of done a better job at..had to put it in a ponytail for dinner afterwards 3. Did not use proper heat protection made for a iron 4. When I expressed my hair felt like straw and I was worried about the change in my hair she said "this feels really healthy for a blonde" well no not for me and my 13 yrs of bleached healthy hair 5. I get it...it's Scottsdale but their prices are absolute scams and I have had some of the top colorists in the west coast do my hair for cheaper...make it make sense 6. I asked for warm very golden blonde and she of course kept giving me white typical Scottsdale blonde... breakage everywhere even on the top of my head and I feel embarrassed about it read more

This is going to be a long one... I reached out to Brooke for a split dye hair transformation. For the first appointment things went well and I liked the outcome however there's a few things I need to complain about. The extensions were overpriced and I found that she up charged the price of extensions just for buying them.. (that's not okay)... and equated to over 2000$. Next, the whole front portion of my blonde hair line fell out and is broken. Each time I came in it became worse and worse, I consistently saw hair falling out excessively when she brushed my hair. For background I've been getting my hair professionally bleached my whole life and this has never happened, I understand some damage but I'm literally bald on the front 1/4 of my head on the blonde side. Next my "move up" appointment was $700.... to be completely fried and wrong tone, when I say I gasped and was shocked at the front when paying. And she recommended I come in even more often and sooner than normal. That is literally a rent payment I refuse to pay. I've already gotten a new stylist and second opinion, she mentioned there's no method that Brooke put these extensions in and that I should request a refund for how bad my hair looks. Just now I found the whole brown side of extensions is completely falling out of my head (3 weeks after my 700$ appt) - this also happened after my first appt with my blonde side lol, which is really what hit the nail and is why I'm leaving this review. That's crap! I've had extensions 4 times in my life and it has never been this way so it is not me. I understand the business doesn't accept refunds but my review will be staying up and I caution anyone who goes here. It is a terrible business model that you have early career 20 something's and are taking their money like it's candy not to mention the hair ends up looking like complete $hit, the toner too dark, hair falling out, extensions can't stay in.... I will not let Brooke touch my hair ever again. Just because we live in Scottsdale does not mean you can overcharge for terrible services! :) last thing I will say my new hair stylist is charging 300-400 for each move up and bleaching etc. (it's actually only 125$ for the extensions) and that's partially because she has to correct Brooke's work and then charges 500-800 per extensions (not overcharging just because she can and she bought them).. also she uses Utah methods and buys Utah hair... please learn something I'm starting to think Brooke was unlicensed. read more

Just don't go here. I came in and had my hair done by Taylor. Firstly, I grew my hair out for a year, no color jobs to increase the integrity of my hair and it looked lovely. I decided I wanted to bring it back to life a little because it was grown out so much. I'm a natural level 7. I had specific pictures and instructions of what I wanted and didn't want. I requested a natural sandy blonde color with dimension. I specifically said I do NOT want white blonde/platinum hair and that maintaining the integrity of my hair was the most important thing to me. After 5 hours of badly placed foils I left with white blonde hair and random brown patches around my face as well as one random brown piece left in my bangs. My hair is now braking, stringy, looks and feels like straw. I have to chop it to save what's left.This was not a cheap bill either. I feel hurt that she didn't listen to me and completely ruined my hair. read more
