The two girls that did our hair were Micaela and Sarah, and Kaitlin did our makeup. All of the girls were more than satisfied with how their hair turned out. Sarah did some great braid work on two of us, and her and Micaela helped to put flowers all over our hair. That part wasn't planned, but they went with the flow and everyone looked great. Kaitlin's makeup looked excellent on everyone, even the girls who were reluctant to get it done for fear of it being too heavy or just not their style. I'd highly recommend them for whatever you need! One piece of advice would be to bring cash since the hair, makeup, and nail services are all separate and have to be paid for as such.

They lost all their records (hard to believe) they couldn't even look back at the past billings to get a clue as to what I was having done. I really liked the new stylist, so it was no fault of hers. But I won't be back. I was told it would cost less for a lower level stylist. it was more! Probably because I didn't get the same treatments. I won't be back. I was forgot about in the hair washing station while she was working on someone else. When the stylist came back she giggled to say "oops well at least your hair is extra hydrated." This is in fact the 2nd time I came back. To have what I had gotten done from them the day before corrected. As my reference picture I used the picture they had on there yelp. My hair was already very light when I can in and I came out darker and with staining all over my head. Multiple people have pointed out how dark my hair is now. As well, I was told the staining is normal. However, I changed my salon because the one I went to before was very far. I've never once ever had staining all over my forehead. I literally took an hour trying to exfoliate it off. I ran my fingers through my hair when I was driving back home disappointed and a chunk of dark dye was smeared in my hands clearly not rinsed all the way. When I was told multiple times they did not darken my hair at all yet I'll link the pictures below to show. I don't think I should have to go to a salon 3 times to get what I asked for the 1st time. My hair was not terrible I would say but for going back a 2nd time it was still not I asked for.

I had a couple of schedule changes which I know is a pain in the butt, but Alex was ever so sweet and willing to work with me. Alex arrived on time, and was able to match my inspo pic to a T. I was pretty nervous as I don't usually wear makeup aside from mascara and eyeliner, but Alex made me feel at ease, and even toned down the blush a bit at the end. I am loving this space and how bright, airy, industrial but modern but retro all in one it is. Cohoes is super easy to get to for me. I parked right out front. Now, the important part, the hair: it's SO GREAT! Jess just knows what she's doing. I gave her buzz words: BLONDE but keep it healthy and easy to maintain. I flat out told her I wasn't planning to come in for months and I pretty much refuse to style it ever so it'd need to look good with just a solid hairbrushing every now and then. I left the details up to her and let her do her thing and the results truly blew me away! I was nervous leading up to this appointment because I was a previous bleach-a-holic and am SO PROUD of the condition I was able to get my hair in by simply leaving it alone. Two and a half weeks and a handful of washes later and it still looks and feels great! Everyone has been absolutely losing their minds at my new look but, most importantly, I love it and feel like a different, more confident person. I cannot recommend Jess enough!
