She was highly professional in asking the important questions as to what we wanted to achieve and subsequently setting up our appointments with Lindsey and Kaylee, an inspired choice in both cases. The hair styling for both of us was outstanding as was the makeup. They took the time to make sure we we getting the exact styles of hair and makeup that we wanted as well as making recommendations. I normally do not give out low points but this time I must. I am new to Napa and used Yelp to find my new hair stylists. Bloom Creative Hair got such high points it was my first choice. I made an appointment with Eli and was willing to wait. The day before my appointment he calls and says he needs to give me to Ali because he is too booked. But wait I called 2 weeks ago! So I call and say that I want him because of the Yelp reviews. Nope can do Ali can do my special coloring. I brought in a large picture of how my hair had been done. Not only did Ali do nothing close but when I complained she said she could fix it. That did not happen either except my hair was fried. But what did happen is she charged me $170 for the experience. And Eli the owner blew me off because I was not a regular. I am making sure to share this experience with all my local Napa clients as well. I just got the most unprofessional and bad hair cut of my life at Bloom. NEVER ever going back to this place, for sure! It seemed like that woman never cut a man's hair before and even then she was more concerned about her colleague getting bleach on her jeans than cutting my hair the way I wanted to. I was done in 25 minutes, paid 35$ and had to correct all her stupid mistakes at home. Usually I pay like 45$ but get treated nicely and don't have to do anything when I get back. Using my trusted Yelp app I found Bloom. Without having to make an appointment for my daughter, I brought her here for a trim of her hair and a cut of her bangs. There are two shops for Bloom. The one here on main street and another on Pearl Street literally across the way. Megan was available for the quick walk-in. I have tried giving my daughter tips on growing healthy hair, but sadly she does not keep the habits. Getting a wash and trim of her hear really showed the potential of healthy hair. Until my daughter starts the everyday washing of her locks which grinds my gears, but what can I do? Its on her head, not mine. Megan did a great job and as I could tell being quite social with my daughter. Like I said it was quick, but she did a great job nonetheless of showing my daughter the simple tricks of keeping her hair nice and healthy. I had been looking for a local salon to start visiting and after reading the reviews on yelp decided on trying Bloom. I originally had an appointment with Megan on Thursday, but she called me that morning to reschedule as they were running behind and she didn't want to delay or rush me through which I was fine with and appreciated. We met today and she was just wonderful! I wanted to get my hair professionally colored since I had messed up my last home session and she got my desired color down perfectly. It looks beautiful and is so soft and shiny. When I made my original appointment I had been on the fence about trimming it up, but decided it would be good she was able to work that in at the end as well and did a fabulous job. I have been going to Bloom since it opened. Lelani, the owner, used to do my hair way back when she worked at Panache, and her salon is amazing. She has taken an old building in Napa, and made it her own. Hanging mirrors divide cutting stations, and rolling shelves have stylists' supplies in them. You sit on a padded chair while getting your hair dried, and natural sunlight bathes the salon in light. To be honest, I don't think there are any lights on in the salon, and it's always bright. This salon is close to 2 hours away from where I live but Napa was the closest county allowing haircuts when I came in early June. I'd been going to a high-end salon in San Francisco for the last few years but can't speak highly enough of the haircut that Christy gave me. If I lived near here I would definitely start going to Christy. The salon was also setup for as comfortable an experience as imaginable during this period. On top of that, everyone I've spoken with is friendly and professional. I've been going to Mia for years now and have never been disappointed. I have lived here for several months now and have had a hard time finding the salon for me. Well, my search is over. Megan is great! Not only did she fit me in very last minute, but she took her time and made sure she understood what I wanted. I am, like any woman, particular about my hair. When I left it was the perfect color (some highlights) and silky smooth. She even sent me away with a bag of samples to take on my trip! I came back for a deep conditioning treatment. I didn't notice too much of a difference after, but the experience was pleasant. While sitting under the dryer, she brought me some warm apple cider! Oh my word! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Miranda, one of the stylists at Bloom. She was perfect. From the minute I stepped into the salon, I felt welcome and received A+ service. I showed Miranda a picture of a hairstyle that I have been obsessed with for quite a while and she perfected it. I got a shampoo and cut. When she was done blowdrying my hair, she combed through my hair again, checking her own work and making sure everything was perfect. Then she offered to style my hair like I had shown her in the picture. I left the salon feeling awesome. Her conversation was perfect. I came here for my first time because my original hairstylist had moved, so I had to find someone new. Jessica was amazing, she was super sweet and very pleasant! She explained to me everything she was doing, and every product she was using. The fact that she was able to manage not leaving me a helmet of hair dye on my hair line was a big plus, and my hair touch up was blue black so imagine walking out of there without anyone noticing that I had just had a touch up since there was no dye on my for head AMAZING !!!! i scheduled online for partial highlights and a hair cut, when i sat down with the stylist i showed her some pictures of what i was thinking, she agreed, proceeded do do a whole head highlight "boleyage" my hair was very long, and i wanted layers to add body, she cut off about 3 inches, barely gave me any layers and when i said i was thinking more layers like the photos i showed her, she said she did not want to make me look like i had a "mullet"...well after being there for 3 hours, which seemed excessive, i was done, then when she told me the price was double what i was quoted, needles to say, i was very disappointed with the whole experience. (oh and they were trying to fix a sink at the same time, so the stylist were all trying to share 2 sinks) again not the experience i was looking for. very disappointed in the whole experience. read more

Ashley is fantastic!! I came to Bloom through my last stylist but she sadly moved to Hawaii. I asked her for a recommendation and tried to get an appointment with the other stylist, but when she was booked, the salon recommended I try Ashley. I'm so happy I did!! I've seen Ashley twice now and both times, she's given me an amazing cut- this time, quite a lot got chopped and I wasn't nervous about leaving my hair in her hands at all. Not only is she an amazing stylist, she's kept in touch if things are running behind or if there are more openings earlier.
