Before the job even began, he ran through several scenarios with me and was very patient. He understood my objectives both as they related to aesthetics and my pocketbook. In the end, we came up with a plan that was viable and as aesthetically pleasing as could be managed given the situation. Once the job began, the primary person of contact shifted to Julio, one of their project managers. He was on property every day supervising and working alongside his crew. The crew was very polite, hard-working and friendly. They were very well supported by Julio. This may seem like a given, but often it is not so it did stand out to me. Once all of the work was done, Julio gave me a final walk-through, showing me how the various components function and made certain that I did not have any lingering questions. I think there were two follow up visits after the work was completed in order to accomplish this. There was no point along the way where I felt like they were taking shortcuts, using materials that were inferior quality, or anything of that nature. Their concrete cuts were incredible, and I have seen some really bad cuts in my past. And they did a beautiful job with brick work, including redesigning some curved areas of brick that needed to be removed during the job. Veronica in the office was very helpful as well. All in all, having my work done by Professional Drainage Experts was a very positive experience and I give a hearty recommendation to them!

He showed up exactly during our window as promised and we inspected the unit together. He agreed that it was a short likely from condensation over the years. He had the right model in his van and we agreed on a very reasonable estimate for the timer and labor at $185. He performed the replacement installation promptly and precisely. He then ran each of the 6 stations separately to visually inspect all working well and no leaks in any of the lines. He went over with me and I felt very comfortable with him and the service. Out of the gate, they were great. They gave us a reasonable estimate compared to others. They had…read morefantastic reviews. We submitted the plans to them, so they just needed to execute them. We didn't pull the trigger with them until a year later. At that point, we had reduced the scope of the project and so they gave us a new estimate that nearly doubled the price. They told us it was because of price increases over the year. But the reality, as we found out, is that they didn't estimate the price well. Elvia didn't fully read the plans. That was a red flag, but we were excited about the yard, and we knew the other estimates, so we went with it. Most of the process of getting the work done was great. They were done sooner than expected. There were still a few issues. One issue was with fruit trees. They were planting one lime and two oranges, even though we asked for a lime, an orange and a lemon. Elvia tried to convince us that lime and lemon were the same, so we didn't need a lemon; we should just stick with two oranges. We had to insist because, obviously, they aren't the same. The other issue was with the turf. We wanted turf that was more pet-friendly. Elvia told us she would show us some samples before they installed the turf. That never happened. The roll they had didn't appear new. It seemed like a leftover from another job. So they just installed it. We let it go because it was nice. Then, during the walk-through, the turf didn't look great at the time, but we were told that it would be fixed by the end of the day. It wasn't. We could see all the jagged seams. It was coming up in parts, and they were light on the infill, so all the turf was lying down. One small section was three different pieces put together with the blades of the turf, all going in different directions. We had asked for stabilized DG, and in the back after it dried out, it was clear that it wasn't installed well. There were patches that were just dirt. To their credit, they came and rectified it. However, the turf is still subpar. I wouldn't recommend them for turf at all. And the DG is not stabilized. It is poorly graded, and water pools around our garage. When we brought that up, Elvia suggested that they put in a French drain. Which, of course, would be an uncharge. Keep in mind that stabilized DG is almost as solid as concrete, and if graded right, water will flow away from structures, which should be the case with all grading. That's why it's done. So they wouldn't fix that. During the first rains, a lot of DG washed away, which is always an issue with DG. But this was way more than I'd expect with stabilized DG. The biggest issue we've had since is with the drip irrigation. We did drought-tolerant plants. When they left, Elvia told us to water for 5 minutes per day. This surprised us. We believed that new plants needed more water in the beginning. But we listened; they are the pros. We have a water monitoring system, and for the first few weeks, that 5 minutes was 9 gallons of water. Then, suddenly, after two weeks, it jumped up to 25 gallons. Now, as you can imagine, 25 gallons of water after five minutes of drip is a lot. They disagreed and said there was no issue. When I asked how many emitters they had and the flow rate so I could calculate how much water we should expect, the installer had no idea. He said I just installed it. He doesn't help with that. Then a fungus started growing in areas of the mulch where clearly a lot of water had been pouring out. Yet, they insisted it was no issue. Then Elvia said to wait one week, no watering, and they would come back. It rained early in the week. But now it has been two weeks, and I've heard nothing from them. My plants need water. Five of the ones they planted less than a month ago are already dead. I've had to go through the system myself to figure out the issue. That's when I found that they didn't even use emitters. They use tubing with the emitters built in. Which in and of itself is not an issue if you space the plants out well enough. The issue is that there is so much tubing and so few plants that large swaths of my yard are being watered and no plants are there. This means that weeds and other non-desirable plants are being watered. And the emitters that are close to the plants aren't close enough. So for us to use the drip irrigation, which we set up to save water, we'll be using twice as much as it needs to because we're watering places with no plants just to water the areas that do have plants. It should have had emitters directed at the plants. But they weren't. Now I have to call someone else in to make this drip irrigation truly water-efficient or do it myself because Supergreen has ghosted me. Raul, the owner, will never respond to you. I believe that is mentioned in other comments. So don't even attempt to contact him with issues. My recommendation is to find another company. We wasted $20,000.

From the get-go Dayami was very responsive and the only vendor who followed up. Responsive vendors are so hard to find but Dayami was available for me anytime. She responded to my calls/texts quickly and came a few times to meet with me before work started. The main team that worked on my yard was Elio, Santos and Ricardo. They were here every weekday morning around 7am & was proactive in listening to my directions & following up if they had questions. Overall I was happy with the work they did. My front yard had drought tolerant plants & the back has plants & artificial grass. They also installed the automatic drip system & build my gazebo kit. There were a few days they didn't come because of another job which pushed completion by a week. It was stressful as I was leaving out of town and hoped to enjoy the yard before I left. I think for the reasonable price they charged, they did a good job.

We decided to move forward, and we left it up to him to provide and plant what was needed to create a perfect space that was both functional for entertainment and really pleasant to just relax and enjoy. Gio and his team did not disappoint. He met (and exceeded) our expectations, and stuck to the schedule and budget. And he didn't just create planter areas and new lawn, he also installed a paver walkway to match our existing patio stones. When he was finished with the original scope, he offered to maintain the rear yard to make sure our investment (and his hard work) would continue to look as good as the day he finished. He is not a typical "mow-blow-& go" gardening service. When he and his team arrive, they look around, see whatever needs care and attention, make everything right, and leave every inch of the yard neatly trimmed and clean. I try to find a time to reschedule (there's no emergency here thankfully) and he says it's 1000 dollars plus the repair to come on a Sunday. 4. Says photos will be taken down like in the past. Clearly this isn't the first time. There are a lot of companies to choose from please pick someone else.

Perhaps curiosity at best but certainly not relevant. Besides the rudeness of the owner, the selection of plants are pretty good, there are lots of trendy plants for cheaper prices than you would get from other stores. However they're all cramped together so it's hard to really identify or see them individually.

Knowing that we were going to make the front yard look good, we also wanted to spruce up the house. Ricky told us his team could paint as well. Ricky and his team work fast. Painting and full-on landscaping took less than two weeks to complete. And a day after completion, when an unexpected rainfall caused some of the decomposed granite to erode before it had a chance for the adhesive to fully set, Ricky sent workers back out to tamp it down and replace some of the material that had been washed away. Working fast had its upsides and downsides. Upsides being that going from concept to finished product went quickly, and the painting work was done with care. Downsides being that if you have specific plants in mind, you should make sure to have them on hand before the work starts. Ricky's usual nursery did not have some of the plants we wanted, and we had to scramble to source a few items from different nurseries quickly. Also, if you have specialized watering needs (i.e. working with a two-system timer for different types of plants), be sure to discuss it with Ricky before work begins. In all, Ricky was responsive to our concerns and took care of any issues in a timely way. And most importantly, the house and yard look beautiful! We have already received many compliments from neighbors and passersby on our new yard.

(Not BB, but yall remember that place.) As the daughter of a professional tradesman, I know more than average about what I'm looking for in hardware. And Rudy was also helpful with a smile and without any of the attitude about helping a lady look for a special piece of hardware. I was a little sad when that old lumber yard place closed, mostly because Rudy. Now, I'd also go over to Bourget bros for garden rocks and the occasional drill bit. And yall could not imagine how delighted I was that BB had the wisdom to hire Rudy! I think higher of the whole establishment in general because of it. Our fella Rudy is working in the paint department and two weeks ago he helped me make some duplicate keys I needed. He's still being awesome. If you need paint or key or anything in Rudy's department, do yourself a favor and see this gem of a human. I snapped a lil pic to show my husband that Rudy is helping me. (I hope that cool with R.) These guys are terrific. We'd built an ADU outback and needed our backyard completely re-landscaped. The owner Juan is highly knowledgeable, very professional, easy to work with. The work was really extensive because a lot of old concrete had to be dug out, the land had to be leveled, and a new sprinkler system installed. I also did not want to use herbicides or pesticides since the back yard is our little dogs favorite place to hang out (and to eat grass). Juan was very understanding and said they always check with the homeowner before using chemicals. He offered several alternatives including digging out the existing grass roots more deeply -- which is what we did. His crew worked in the hot sun on the hottest weeks we've had this year (temperature in the 90s). Joseph did the first half of the job and Sebastian did the second half. Alejandro also came to work for a day. They all worked incredibly hard and did a terrific job. They were also very careful with our property and very friendly and kind. Outstanding! Do yourself a favor - if you need landscape services, hire Juan and his crew. Juan is extremely professional, responsive and knowledgeable. His crew is punctual and thorough. They converted our old sprinkler system to drip irrigation and installed a drought resistant landscape in our front yard. We had a very tight time frame in which to complete our project, but it came in on time and within budget, despite a couple of rainy days and a major holiday. Juan took the time to develop a couple of estimates for us and later, as the project was nearing completion, even found a way for us to save some money. Honestly, when we saw the quality of the workmanship going into our yard, we felt like we were getting a steal. The finished project - our yard is beautiful! I'm very happy to recommend Rangel Landscaping! They did a fantastic job on an extensive renovation of a steep slope in my backyard. Juan is certainly the most creative landscaper I've ever met. I asked for a design that incorporated some unique plants not typically used here but that would do well and he found everything I wanted, along with suggesting other plants that I would not have known. He kept my budget and ideas in mind throughout the process. I am so thrilled with his design and the work his crew did! He took time to understand the complex system and match it to our specific lawn care needs. Out of the gate, they were great. They gave us a reasonable estimate compared to others. They had…read morefantastic reviews. We submitted the plans to them, so they just needed to execute them. We didn't pull the trigger with them until a year later. At that point, we had reduced the scope of the project and so they gave us a new estimate that nearly doubled the price. They told us it was because of price increases over the year. But the reality, as we found out, is that they didn't estimate the price well. Elvia didn't fully read the plans. That was a red flag, but we were excited about the yard, and we knew the other estimates, so we went with it. Most of the process of getting the work done was great. They were done sooner than expected. There were still a few issues. One issue was with fruit trees. They were planting one lime and two oranges, even though we asked for a lime, an orange and a lemon. Elvia tried to convince us that lime and lemon were the same, so we didn't need a lemon; we should just stick with two oranges. We had to insist because, obviously, they aren't the same. The other issue was with the turf. We wanted turf that was more pet-friendly. Elvia told us she would show us some samples before they installed the turf. That never happened. The roll they had didn't appear new. It seemed like a leftover from another job. So they just installed it. We let it go because it was nice. Then, during the walk-through, the turf didn't look great at the time, but we were told that it would be fixed by the end of the day. It wasn't. We could see all the jagged seams. It was coming up in parts, and they were light on the infill, so all the turf was lying down. One small section was three different pieces put together with the blades of the turf, all going in different directions. We had asked for stabilized DG, and in the back after it dried out, it was clear that it wasn't installed well. There were patches that were just dirt. To their credit, they came and rectified it. However, the turf is still subpar. I wouldn't recommend them for turf at all. And the DG is not stabilized. It is poorly graded, and water pools around our garage. When we brought that up, Elvia suggested that they put in a French drain. Which, of course, would be an uncharge. Keep in mind that stabilized DG is almost as solid as concrete, and if graded right, water will flow away from structures, which should be the case with all grading. That's why it's done. So they wouldn't fix that. During the first rains, a lot of DG washed away, which is always an issue with DG. But this was way more than I'd expect with stabilized DG. The biggest issue we've had since is with the drip irrigation. We did drought-tolerant plants. When they left, Elvia told us to water for 5 minutes per day. This surprised us. We believed that new plants needed more water in the beginning. But we listened; they are the pros. We have a water monitoring system, and for the first few weeks, that 5 minutes was 9 gallons of water. Then, suddenly, after two weeks, it jumped up to 25 gallons. Now, as you can imagine, 25 gallons of water after five minutes of drip is a lot. They disagreed and said there was no issue. When I asked how many emitters they had and the flow rate so I could calculate how much water we should expect, the installer had no idea. He said I just installed it. He doesn't help with that. Then a fungus started growing in areas of the mulch where clearly a lot of water had been pouring out. Yet, they insisted it was no issue. Then Elvia said to wait one week, no watering, and they would come back. It rained early in the week. But now it has been two weeks, and I've heard nothing from them. My plants need water. Five of the ones they planted less than a month ago are already dead. I've had to go through the system myself to figure out the issue. That's when I found that they didn't even use emitters. They use tubing with the emitters built in. Which in and of itself is not an issue if you space the plants out well enough. The issue is that there is so much tubing and so few plants that large swaths of my yard are being watered and no plants are there. This means that weeds and other non-desirable plants are being watered. And the emitters that are close to the plants aren't close enough. So for us to use the drip irrigation, which we set up to save water, we'll be using twice as much as it needs to because we're watering places with no plants just to water the areas that do have plants. It should have had emitters directed at the plants. But they weren't. Now I have to call someone else in to make this drip irrigation truly water-efficient or do it myself because Supergreen has ghosted me. Raul, the owner, will never respond to you. I believe that is mentioned in other comments. So don't even attempt to contact him with issues. My recommendation is to find another company. We wasted $20,000.

From the get-go Dayami was very responsive and the only vendor who followed up. Responsive vendors are so hard to find but Dayami was available for me anytime. She responded to my calls/texts quickly and came a few times to meet with me before work started. The main team that worked on my yard was Elio, Santos and Ricardo. They were here every weekday morning around 7am & was proactive in listening to my directions & following up if they had questions. Overall I was happy with the work they did. My front yard had drought tolerant plants & the back has plants & artificial grass. They also installed the automatic drip system & build my gazebo kit. There were a few days they didn't come because of another job which pushed completion by a week. It was stressful as I was leaving out of town and hoped to enjoy the yard before I left. I think for the reasonable price they charged, they did a good job.
