Not sure how they stay in business. Nor should they be. Their hours are never correct, you leave there with your car, dripping, dirt, and mud, and it scratches the paint. Just a horrible place. Can't wait for one of the big companies to come in and do car washes right. read more

I wonder if this place is actually trying to go out of business? When I told the attendant that I wanted the express service, he asked if I wanted my car cleaned or not. He went on to say that the basic service was just a rinse, and he couldn't guarantee that the car would be clean. I told him it was an odd marketing strategy to say that they provided a service which was not effective. He said he didn't like people coming back and b******* at him when the car was dirty, and that I couldn't get a refund if I bought the express wash. The guy that they have working there now is a miserable person. And, he will make sure that you feel miserable if you have any interaction with him. I will never return to this auto wash again, despite it being very convenient. I paid the last time I was there for my wheels to be treated, because of a lot of dust and grease on them. He won't even walk around the car and sprays them from the back bumper. They were not clean. Today I asked him, in a overly kindly voice because of how he acts, to spray what looked like a flock of birds had thrown up on my door handle and window. he got really nasty with me and told me I didn't need to tell him how to do his job and not to point at debris on the car saying, "Don't point at things, I don't like it." I started saying how sorry I was and he ordered me to roll up my window. Literally made me cry. The fucking guy YELLED at me for not putting my car "in neutral early enough", even through it was on neutral before it got on the track. Was my first time ever going through a car wash on my own and I can't believe the fucking employee screamed at a young customer trying their best instead of calmly explaining what to do. Also I paid extra for the better wash even though there wasn't any extra washing or soap done. The terribly rude employee working there needs to be fired. Don't go to the Bloomfield Auto Wash at Telegraph and Long Lake!!! The white male attendant was condescending, rude and offensive! I was going to get the $6 wash and I gave him $21 so he could give me $15 back. I was told if I got the least expensive wash I would have to have exact change or use a credit card. I said all I had was cash and he wouldn't accept that, so I said forget it then. I was trying to figure out how to exit when there were cars in line behind me and that when he became very rude and condescending. Worst car wash I've ever been to. This last and final time I went, I heard a loud noise at the back window of my car while in the car wash. Sure enough, a piece of the rear windshield broke when a dryer pulled it back and bent it. $120 worth of damage. My car always drips soapy water all over, and since the have no one drying, it just splashed all over the car as you drive away. I would give it 0 out of 5 stars if I could. read more

Oh my goodness, the rudest staff. They refused to rinse off the step leading up to my SUV which was the reason I was there. Even offered to pay extra. The man said "no, we have a line to the street" actually there was 1 car waiting behind me. I felt ripped off. When I exited the car wash there was no one in line. Just did not want to wash my car. Have you ever tried to submit a zero star review? Why is that not possible? Too bad all car washers don't use Yelp before driving their $30,000 car through a car wash. They would definitely turn around and drive against traffic to get out of this place. First, when I drove up and asked for $5 car wash ($4 is the cheaper one), they said that I have to pay an extra dollar for the mud on the car! Are you serious? Should I come to the car wash with a clean car so I don't get a surcharge? The service is terrible. They treat you like they are doing you a favor rather than earning your business. The guy was more focused on his mobile phone than taking care of customers. I tried to like the place since I live less than a mile away and they do a lot of fundraisers for school groups. Based on the experience I had, maybe they're scamming the kids and not giving them much of a cut. This was the worst car wash I've ever had. They didn't even spray off the running panels. When questioned they said oh we don't do that on our washes. This car wash is okay. That's it. I rarely have a stellar rating for washes like these before I get out of my car afterword's and there's water spots, soap residue or dirt that only handwashing can remove. If you need a quick rinse to remove salt, pollen or every day dirt this will do alright. If you want to shine up your baby to make it look new and drive around the president, you should spring for a detail place or just wash it at home. 5 bucks for water, basically no soap. Don't even spray or brush your car unless you pay 7 bucks. No towel dry. Use your hose at home for 30 seconds and it's more effective. **UPDATE** I was in a pinch and took my car here the other day, simply to remove the salt and general filth from a standard, Michigan winter. I asked for the standard wash, and there were no cars behind me in line. The operator did not use their "spray gun" to remove any of the snow surrounding my wheels, or excess dirt...that comes with the $7.00 wash. Pulling out upon completion, and noticing the snow was barely removed and my car pretty much still filthy, I drove off with a huge SUCKER tag draped across my forehead. NEVER-AGAIN! read more

I'm guessing the giant man child with an attitude problem everyone describes in the reviews must be the owner. I can't imagine any other reason why someone who is so rude, and possibly mentally unstable, would have continued employment here. Allow me to describe my experience there this morning...When I pulled up, the attendant was standing right at the entrance of the car wash counting a big wad of cash. I stopped short of the track, assuming he would either acknowledge me in some way, wave me forward, or walk three steps back to my car to take my money. He did neither of those three things. Instead, he returned to the building and sat down inside for several minutes, still not acknowledging my existence. I was stuck, as there is no way to leave now unless you go through the car wash because someone was behind me. After 2-3 minutes pass, he sticks his head out the door and angrily asks "can I help you?" Uhhh yeah, I'd like a car wash! He then proceeds to take my money without saying another word and walks away. I'm guessing his attitude was related to the fact that I didn't instantly pull up to him and onto the tracks upon arriving. I just returned from the wash without a washed car, however I paid $8 for a wash. Today, November 15th, 2019 at 8:28pm, I pulled into the wash with my teenage son to get his car washed. At first the young man Dylan with long'ish wavy sandy blond hair and a red coat was nice and seemed very attentive. After he took time to wash down the exterior he hits the buttons to start the wash and he then informs me the mechanism is not working "It's been going out all day" and I need to leave. I say "Oh really, wow, okay can I get my money back" to which he replies "I can't give you one, last time I did my boss nearly fired me" after going back and forth for a couple minutes and I asked him why he doesn't have anyone he can call for an emergency (his manager or the owner) his reply "I don't have a way to contact them" so I ask him if he can leave a note for the manager tomorrow morning explaining what happened, and he says he cannot, "no paper" and he tells me tomorrow he is not working "my only day off" he then tell me he's not working Sunday too.....To which I reply "You just said tomorrow (Saturday) is was your only day off, I'm sorry but are I'm having a difficult time trusting what your saying?" He then gets extremely belligerent, and tells me he's been there all day without heat and I need get out of here and back out and leave immediately AND that he did an initial wash which isn't even required to do at the car wash.... This seems sketchy to me and I don't trust this car wash any longer or this particular employee. I will call the wash first thing in the morning to discuss this with the manager Brandon. What a horrible way to run a business. Thinking back, I really do get a weird vibe from this exchange so I called my amex to dispute the charge, they don't see the charge yet which they said it should show immediately, so again a red flag....he swiped the card I assume caused I signed the hand held device, so now I've frozen my card and will most likely request a new card and account number. read more

If you want your windshield to have a scratch from top to bottom and your rear wiper ripped off your car, this is the place to go! Truly! Spoke with the manager and he said to get an estimate and they would "try to help". I have visited many times only to get the run around, empty promises to talk with the owner, and have basically been ignored for $750 worth of damage. Looks like an attorney is the next step. Paid $8.00 for a carwash. It was a young guy wearing a backward baseball hat , maybe 18 yrs. old working. He was very pleasant and friendly and smiley. I took for granted that my car would be clean. After running errands in the plaza next door I inspected my car and discovered bugs covering my bumper and a few spots that didnt get cleaned. I drove back to carwash and the sane kid was there.He was not as happy and friendly this time around. I said "Hi I was here an hour ago and my bumper is covered in bugs." He said" Yeah I remember you. I asked you if you wanted the bug and tar spray and you said no." I said "No, you didnt ask me and I didnt think I needed it." He said " Yeah I did ask you and you said No." I said "I think you must have me mixed up with someone else because you didnt ask me if I wanted it." He said " Yes I did ask you because I remember you because I thought you were pretty." I said " No you have me mixed up with someone else. I didnt even know there was such a thing and I thought pre-spraying would help. I noticed you didnt really pre-spray my car." He says " Yes I did! I sprayed the sides, the front and the top." I said " No you really didnt. Anyways, if I pay the $2.00 will it get the bugs off ?" So I go through the carwash paying a total of $10. I was so upset I didnt bother to inspect my car. I get home and there are still bugs stuck on my bumper! I totally feel violated by some punk kid arguing with me about what he did and did not do! The worst service EVER!!!!! The attendant was verbally abusive to me and possibly caused damage to my car by starting the wash while I was trying to talk to him. They REFUSED to spray the caked on mud off of my car and then he screamed at me that I needed to take it up with my Congressman along with various other obscenities. This car wash gave me the absolute worst consuming experience of my life. Upon entry, I was informed that I would have to pay an extra dollar due to the fact that my car was 1 inch over 60", despite the fact that they advertise a 3$ car wash. I came across this Yelp listing when I went online to see if I could call the management to tell them how rude the attendant was when I was there on Sept 16 at 4:15 pm. I was going to first ask whoever answered the phone if the attendant was handicapped or unable to speak. If he was then I would have felt better in knowing that he was physically unable to say any words during our transaction. Based on all the other Yelp reviews I think it is safe to say that he was just downright rude. I noticed that he was the same way with the person in front of me and also the person behind me. He never picked up the spray hose to pre-wash my car or the cars in front and behind me. As a business owner I thought I would be doing the management a favor by letting them know who is representing them. **NEVER GOING BACK** All I wanted was a basic wash to get some of the salt off my car. I'm new to the area and this car wash is on my way home from work so I decided to give it a try. Again, I just wanted to clean off some of the road salt so I didn't have high expectations. I'm aware that sometimes discount car washes don't take credit card and I didn't have any cash on me so before I pulled in I actually stopped next door at the Kroger to get a closer look at the sign to make sure it didn't say anything about being cash only. I looked thoroughly and there was no such notice. However, when I pulled to the back I saw their larger menu sign and it stated cash or check only. Well this is a little late notice as now I'm behind the building with another car behind me and their property is curbed off so there's no service drive or any other way if exiting other than going through the wash or reversing the whole way back around and not only did I not want to do that but there was another car behind me. The attendant rudely gestured at me to wait where I am as I tried to look for a way to leave. When it was my turn I apologized and said that I didn't have any cash and just wanted a way to get out of their lot. The attendant sighed as if he was annoyed and told the told me its cash only. I get that now. He left without saying anything else and went into the office and then came back out with a little pad of paper for me to give him my information and said he was gonna let me slide this time, but next time I have to bring cash. He acted like its common knowledge. ITS NOT WRITTEN ANYWHERE OUT FRONT, ONLY OUT BACK WHERE WHEN TOU FIND OUT ITS TOO LATE. I'm new to the area I had no idea how poorly he runs his business and I didn't appreciate being treated like it's my fault. I don't mind paying a few bucks for a car wash at all I just didn't have any cash on me and that's why I looked for a sign before driving around. It's too late by the time you find out and if that's how you do things it's pretty stupid for getting mad at customers for finding out after the point of no return! I've been to many car washes, I've worked at a car wash, I've never seen one without a service drive or some way of exiting the property without going through the line. After all that it was a really low quality wash and did little to nothing to remove road salt from my car.
