I stopped going to Long Lake/Telegraph years ago. I've had the 'guys' SCREAM at me to move my car up (I was waiting for them to guide me into the railings as the turn is really sharp and I could fee my wheel l hitting the railings). Another incident: I came there with a $20 bill at about 3 in the afternoon one day only to be told they didn't have change. I didn't have anything smaller and when I asked what my options where the guy shrugged and pointed for me to leave the way I came, and he walked away. There is no exit except through the carwash. I was forced to turn around in a very tight space and force the cars behind me to back up to make room for me to leave. The guy wanted me to say 'keep the change'. A Carwash not having change at 3 in the afternoon is BS. The guys that work the carwash are rude, crude and could care less about the customer. I personally stay clear despite the fact Telegraph / Long Lake is such MUCH more convenient. I'm only giving them 1 star because I have to. They are a big ZERO in my mind. I do highly recommend the carwash on Woodward just north of Beaumont/13 mile. Awesome, especially the vacuum setup! read more

They were not rude but very unprofessional and then did not give me the wash level I paid for which was to include wheels. No spray down just sent the car through and no attention to the wheels which the deluxe was to include. In addition the guy directing me in had no sense of direction, keep telling me to go straight obviously when the wheels were making the worst rubber to metal contact. Much better wash up the road in Pontiac or down in Southfield. I got out to inspect and thought why bother wasting my time on a second run when the first was so awful. read more

As other customers have stated-wish I could give a negative star but specifically for the manager who was working at 9:00am on Thursday, January 11, 2018. Background. I tip here often-when people are nice/engaging. I pulled in, handed him a $5 and said " I just want to get the salt off. It will be a mess again tomorrow". ( snow/sleet forecast). I then asked "can you spray off the running boards?" His answer in a rude tone " not for $5.00". I said "for a $ more?" He didn't answer. I opened my window and said "are you the owner?" His reply "I'm the manager" in a cocky tone. I then said " your an ass". ( not my best moment, but he really was!!!). His reply " F#%^ you bitch". Unbelievable. Guess he's having a bad day. But this whole thing could have gone very differently had he responded to my request for cleaning the running boards. "Yes, but that will be $X more". DONT GO! Rude staff and metal bar will ruin your car! !! Went in with a pickup truck. The guy running the show was rude, yelling, rolling his eyes, and cursing at us. When we pulled in and we were on the track, we did as we were told and put it in neutral. Then the truck popped out of the track but the sliders kept moving the truck. Meanwhile he's being belligerent and rude as we are telling him "it's hitting the truck!" On the right side of the start of the car wash there's a large metal bar and box that will drag along your car or truck if the attendant doesn't make sure you on the track right!! It gouged and dented the entirety of the front fender 2 feet in length at least. We confronted the operator and he stated it was user error plus their policy is to NEVER give out the owners name or insurance info. We had to call the police and have them mediate because the attendant was so belligerent and wouldn't give us any info. The police got him to give up the business listing name, address and phone number so we could at least sort this out. Filed a police report. The police said the same thing happens at this car wash all the time!!! Go to Jax instead. read more

Horrible customer service. No professionalism. They pack people in the wash way too close together. I was rear ended and told " sorry it not our problem, the car behind you didnt have it in neutral". End result for $5 I have damage to my car and will never go back there. Beware and think twice about going here read more

*** STAY AWAY *** They apparently don't like to take people's money. I went there today to try it out for the first time. I asked for the $3 wash that they advertise. The attendant said it would be an extra $1 because I was driving an SUV and it exceeded the height limit for the $3 wash. My SUV is a performance vehicle and is significantly lower than most SUVs. It looked like I was very close to their limit. I asked about this and just walked away into the office. I sat there with my money out and he returned after about 30 seconds. I asked him if want to take my money. He said, "NO, I don't want to take money from anyone that argues about $1" and refused to wash my car. I wasn't arguing with him, just asking a question. As I was leaving, he called me an A**Hole. Nice way to do business ! read more

Used this car wash before, never comes out clean! Today I decided to give them another chance, well, I came out with a crack in my windshield. Their dryers hit my windshield in the corner and made a crack that I noticed right away. I tried to call their phone number and there was no answer, it does not even have a voice mail set up... read more

Like all the reviews about this place, I would discourage anyone to pay even $3. After The wash this morning arrived at my office realizing that the car wasn't hardly clean lots of salt still I returned during my lunch hour to complain and was rudely turned away despite the fact there were people in line behind me rather than letting me pass through the wash again the guy moved the barrels and told me to leave . There are many other establishments in the area would appreciate and guarantee their business and I will never return. read more

Don't go to this wash!! They are rude and don't care who knows! I rolled in for my $3 wash and they didn't even rinse it off before the wash. Just stood there with the power washers while the dirt and salt was dragged over my car by the bristles. Very bad!! read more

Its a $3 car wash. I go there quite often to get most of the dirt and salt of the car. Sometimes I get goofy looks when I ask for the $3 wash. They should raise the price to 4 or 5 maybe if they're not making money on the $3 wash. I like them because its cheap and I do the finishing work when I get home anyway. I would suggest upping the services like rinsing and drying if they want to make more tips. read more

** SLICK AND BOLD*** Sunday at approximately 5:00 PM. I purchased the $4.00 car wash plus paid $1.00 extra for the wheel and tire cleaning. A car came behind me, and thus the car wash boy, just push the button to push my car on through. I politely came back around and advised that I had paid for my wheels etc., and further no pre-washing was done to my car. He presented me with a slip to fill out, so that he could account for giving me a second wash! He then proceeded to wash the car off... WHILE HE... SLYLY... OPEN BOTH OF MY REAR CAR DOORS... I suspect he was retaliating my request for a second wash? The "door ajar" light was illuminated upon my exit from the cash wash. Had to pull over immediately to close them! The "door notice was not flashing during my first wash? It was his hope... that water would get inside of the car! I will be phoning the manager and see what he has to say?!! read more

I have been going here for years whenever I am in town visiting my parents as it is convenient to their home. Never again!! I tried to use the vacuum to clean my car interior and put the 4 quarters in the machine. It didn't work and wouldn't give me my money back. So I went to the other machine and it took my quarters and worked just fine. When I got to the entrance for the car wash I told the attendant about the malfunctioning machine and that I lost $1.00. I asked for the money to be deducted from the price of the wash and he called the "manager" (??) over. The manager flat out said NO and told me "how do I know you put 4 quarters in the machine? You should have come in and told me it wasn't working then I would have turned it on for you". I decided not to give them any more of my money so I told them I was leaving. On seeing my Kansas license told me I "should kick my heels three times and maybe then I would go home". I proceeded to JAX on Woodward and had a wonderful experience there. read more
