Stopped in on a Saturday morning for a quick walk-in bouquet arrangement that I needed day of. I had some specific stems that I wanted, and the lovely lady helped me put everything together so nicely. Their stem selection is pretty good - lots to choose from but not overwhelming. My small to medium size bouquet arrangement in a glass vase was ~$65 including tax. She also packaged it up with cardboard so that I could drive off with it safely! They were a preferred vendor of our venue Royal Melbourne Country Club and we are so grateful we found them and can't recommend this vendor enough! Vista was absolutely amazing to work with! I spoke to the owner Mak who gave me several minutes of his time so I can describe what I wanted and also shared my familiarity with the florist industry from my past professional experience. I did NOT want a national floral wire service; I needed it to be a local florist in the area. He listened, and gave suggestions, and ultimately after I shared my preferred colors and the occasion (sympathy), I left it up to his designer's discretion. My husband orders arrangements for me from Blooming Flowers fairly regularly. They are the closest florist to my office. The flowers are usually beautiful and last about a week. My son went to Homecoming in the fall and I was overjoyed with who he asked to be his date! So, in true Mom fashion, I went to the florist to design the first corsage that he would ever give a girl. I knew the details of both of their outfits, so between my ideas and the florist's expertise, we came up with something. See photos. I really didn't mind spending $30+ because it was exactly what I wanted. It came together perfectly on the big day. We were so pleased! We made it through an hour of pictures before the wrist corsage fell apart. Embarrassment and disappointment. I felt so bad for my son! His date, a tactful girl, didn't make a big deal out of it, but they didn't even make it to the dance. The flowers were gorgeous, but the workmanship ended up lacking in the execution a bit. Vista was very helpful and creative throughout the planning process. She seemed to understand my vision and I was not worried at all about the quality of my flowers. When my bouquet arrived on the day of my wedding I was in tears. The eucalyptus was brown and dying. The worst part was her reaction to me being upset. Instead of trying to solve the problem she became defensive and argumentative. The delivery man was also making matters worse... raising his voice and saying "In all my years working with Vista, you're the first person to EVER dislike her flowers". I loved working with Vista! I was referred to her by two different people and she did not disappoint. She was patient with my mom and me during our meeting(s) leading up to the wedding. She was very good about giving me ideas, since I didn't really know what type of flowers I wanted (besides the obvious roses) that would go along well with our venue/"theme." VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! About a week ago, I ordered my husband a bouquet online for his birthday. It was some flowers in a fire truck. My 3 yr old and him play fire trucks and it's one of their special things they do together. I ordered online a week in advance and asked for an early delivery as he would only be at work until 12PM. They called me and told me they could not guarantee a delivery time, which kinda stunk because they are located in Elk Grove and so is my husband's business. On the date of delivery (today 5/20/13) around 8:30 AM, they called me to tell me they were sold out of the fire truck and that they had a ford pickup instead. I was very upset and told them that is was not the same thing and it was unacceptable. I told them to forget it and just cancel the whole order. I was put on hold and they came back and asked for my credit card to return the money. While I am glad that they refunded my money, I feel they could have done something for me to keep my business. They could have offered something? A bouquet with free balloons, or a free bouquet since it was their mistake. Again...I ordered it a week ago, there was plenty of time to check the stock. Now my husband has no flowers and the special little card and cuteness of the whole idea is ruined. Also, I told my husband what happened and he had been using them for flowers for me, and they now have lost his business as well! Now, they did my wedding and I couldn't have been any more happy with how everything looked. WOW I really don't know where to start, working with Vista was such a great experience. The theme for my wedding was winter wonderland and the colors were purple, red and silver. When searching for a florist, I was recommended to Blooming Flowers by a friend. I brought in a picture from a magazine of what I was looking for and a swatch of the fabric from the bridesmaids dresses. I met with Vista. She looked at both ideas and came back with a ton of ideas for my wedding. Everything that she was describing was beautiful- she even brought out the different flowers to pair together. We got a price quote and checked with another florist closer to my home. I was very disappointed during the meeting- the florist had no ideas and asked me for flower ideas. I had to look through their website to try and find the ideas that Vista had shared with me. When I found something somewhat comparable, I was quoted at $2,000 more than what Blooming Flowers had quoted. My flowers were gorgeous! On my wedding day, Vista delivered the flowers to the hotel and they were even more beautiful than what I had pictured! Vista met us at the church, set up the floral arrangements and even pinned the flowers on all the guys. After the church, she moved the floral arrangements to the reception site. I walked in here on Valentines day, looking to get a nice bouquet. I had always driven past this place but never stopping.
