My mom purchased me a floral arrangement for my 35th birthday. We love Addison Floral. They did my mom's wedding flowers. They have been the place my dad would stop in for all major occasions - graduations, birthdays, etc. I am not sure what happened. I received these flowers on Wednesday. This is how they looked on Thursday. I debated posting this. My mom has a long relationship with Addison Floral. But my mom is retired and I know she spent a good amount of money on these. So when I decided to post a review, I wanted it to be as thorough as possible because I'm not only disappointed that this is what I received but I'm more so disappointed that my mom's money was spent on these flowers. Here it goes: 1) My mom specifically stated money was not an issue. She was quoted $50-$75 and she said $75 was fine. She was charged over that price. 2) My mom specifically stated something beautiful and bright flowers. And to make it pretty for a birthday. What we received is anything but. Broken off petals, daisies that cost pennies, drooping flowers, old flowers, etc. 3) Whenever flowers are delivered, they are delivered with the vase in the box. This wasn't. It looked as if when it was delivered, it must have fallen in the delivery drivers vehicle, maybe the box got wet, who knows - but no box, broken flowers, and dead flowers. 4) The flowers died in one day. 5) My mom called and spoke to someone by the name of "Donna" and expressed that she needed to speak to Larry about the terrible arrangement. Donna never gave Larry the message and had to call a second time! My mom called to express her disappointment. It seemed as though no one truly cared this was what was delivered. No explanation. No apology. All that was said was "we can refund you partially". Partially?! Now we specifically stated that we weren't looking for a refund. And we weren't. But even to offer only a partial refund shows how out of touch and how unconcerned this company and owner was. If he can treat someone who has been using his company for over 40 years like this, trust me he will not care about you or your business. This is all I'm going to say. The way you treat you customers say a lot about your business and you individually. The way you present your business in your product says a lot about your business and you individually. You were given full reign to provide a beautiful bouquet and provided something that even if it wasn't dead and destroyed would have cost half of what you charged. You delivered a broken, dying arrangement without a box that showed no care for your customer. And then when you received a call that there was unhappiness (which your notecard specifically says - please call us if you're unsatisfied), you do not show any sympathy that you ruined a birthday surprise. And you aren't man enough or have the right business mentality to know that a full refund should have been offered (even if it wouldn't have been accepted). What you should have done was send a new arrangement the next day with an apology. But you also didn't do that. You didn't do anything. You have lost good customers and business. But mostly you have lost our respect. This was a poor business performance on all counts. It's disappointing. Be better. read more

I researched florists in the area so I could send my Godmother flowers for her birthday. I ordered the standard arrangement which was pictured on their website as shown. This was the standard, not the deluxe or premium which were pictured bigger and fuller. I feel their "standard" picture still did not look like what was delivered. I was disappointed. Ordering online and response from the florist were very good, as well as, delivered as promised. Just wish the quality and look of the arrangement was what was shown on the website. Called Larry at 445 for a fresh loose bouquet for my mom's birthday. He had them ready by 5 ! Just told him big, purple and fragrant. Boy were they ever!! My mom said she smelled them from outside! He always does an amazing job and just has the perfect eye for what should be in your bouquet for a fair price! Beautiful when delivered however the flowers began dying the next day. Lillys died before they opened and all were in the garbage within 4 days. I ordered flowers through Telaflora for the anniversary of my friend's daughter's death. It was an extremely special day. I chose a beautiful lavender arrangement called Forever Mine. I specifically ordered the purple as it represents Colon Cancer. There were to be lavender flowers and a Mercury glass vase. I received a basic arrangement with pink roses with an errant white one stuck in the middle and a cheap clear vase that I literally have 10 of in my garage. When I spoke to Larry he was " what do you want me to do? I gave you extra roses". I wanted what I ordered or at least close. If a business is unable to fulfill the order or get somewhere close to it they should notify either Telaflora or the customer. My fiancé loves this place , so I thought I would give it a try .We purchase some flowers and at the same time made an upcoming appointment with the owner to order wedding flowers . The day of the appointment comes, and he is not available as He didn't write the appointment on his calendar , and of course , did not call to explain. I called fuming , and he apologized, but didn't seem really apologetic, did not offered a discount for the inconvenience, but I could reschedule if I wanted to. No thank you .. Had 8 centerpieces done for a luncheon. Asked Larry for flowers with fall colors. They turned out beautifully. Everyone loved them so much that we had to raffle them off because everyone wanted to take them home. They flowers were delivered earlier then our requested time. It pains me to give this review - but my experience with Addison Floral was terrible. This florist was recommended to me by a family friend whose flowers were lovely and after meeting with him I felt very comfortable with the overall vision and price we discussed. So much so that I recommended another friend use them for their wedding that was a few months before ours and her flowers were beautiful. I met with Larry twice - the first time to discuss the overall vision and estimate price and the second to see the mock-ups. When I arrived for the second visit he had not made any of the bouquets and only had the table garland available for me to see. My mom and I talked with Larry for almost an hour about the way I wanted the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets to look and the flowers I liked and did not like. He brought out burgundy flowers from the back, blue thistle, red hydrangeas and greeneries that I fell in love with. I gave him complete creative luxury and even sent him two emails with "inspiration" pictures (dark floral bouquets). He provided me with an invoice which I could barely read because of his hand writing. From what I could read he listed 3 types of burgundy flowers, hydrangeas and other flowers that I could not make out. He called me the day before the wedding to confirm the number of tables for the garland which I appreciated at the time. The morning of the wedding when the flowers were delivered I immediately saw a flower in all the bouquets that I specifically said I did not want. The bridal bouquet was all white flowers with only THREE red flowers. THREE!! It was a truly ugly bouquet and I was in tears - it was completely wrong. My sister called Larry whose solution was that he was too busy to fix the issue and for me to "grab the red flowers from the church floral arrangements". The church floral arrangements had only six red flowers...also wrong from our discussions. My bridesmaids had to go out in the rain to two other florists and remake my bouquet. The bridesmaid bouquets while all white like I had wanted included a flower I hate. And now when I look at wedding pictures that flower is the only one I see - it infuriates me that I paid around $3,000 for flowers and ALL the bouquets and church arrangements were wrong. My mother also ordered red flowers for the wedding cake - he delivered white flowers for a white cake. My mom cried at the wedding when she saw them. The table garlands looked nice, however they were very sparse with the white flowers. I spoke with Larry a week after the wedding and he was very apologetic and said he did not know how he made the mistakes. When I asked him why the invoice was different from our discussion and how the flowers he used didnt even matched the invoice he had NO explanation. He only offered to send me and my mom flowers to "say sorry". He said that they do not provide refunds. I did not want his flowers, but a refund for the flowers my bridesmaids had to buy to fix my bouquet at least. He did send me a check for that. I am still furious with Addison Floral for how they responded when I called the morning of my wedding and his lack of explanation for his mistakes. I will never recommend this florist to anyone again.If you use this florist PROCEED WITH CAUTION - make sure you see mock ups of the flowers beforehand and that the invoice lists every flower that you discussed. read more

Horrible..... i got an arrangement from here for the first time. Once it was delivered it was nothing like what i had ordered.! The arrangement was suppose to have roses and daisy's with a heart shaped vase and a nice little puppy on the bottome!! 1.. No puppy 2. No roses 3. No vase with hearts!!! I can not believe how rude the lady was!! I went here for a flower consultation with my future sister-in-law who is very soft spoken and knowing what she wanted I filled out the guest card. The lady saw that I was doing so and asked if I was Heather and if I was the one that was getting married in a really rude manner. It took everything I had to not get up and leave but I stayed knowing our consultation was with the owner or manager of the store. As we were waiting I was talking to my future sister-in-law about how I have seen rose bouquets with pearl pins in the center of each rose and how pretty it looked on a red bouquet that I saw at a wedding. The lady came over, gave me the dirtiest look and asked me why I would ever want to destroy such a beautiful flower?!?! Ugh.. thank god the guy came over to write up the estimate.. We used Addison Floral for my daughters wedding in May. The price was the best around and with a large wedding party the budget was important. Larry, the owner showed us samples twice, made suggestions of roses that would last, and even made a sample bouquet for us to take to my daughter since she lives in the Milwaukee area. I wanted gardenias for the mothers and grandmothers wristlets and they were spectacular. The reception orchids also were just what we had asked for.
