There was a like 3 or 4 people ahead of me but it only took like 10-ish minutes until someone got to me so it allowed me time to walk around and preview everything while I waited. The value is definitely worth it though, the flowers lasted for WEEKS after I had bought them, although I have to admit I don't typically buy flowers and have them around me for long so I'm not sure if that's a long time or not, but I feel even thought the value is kinda pricy, you're paying for good quality that lasts. They say that you get what you pay for, but that isn't the case for this place. I came in and ordered a bouquet of flowers for my sister's graduation, and the worker asked me how much Im willing to spend on an arrangement he'll put together for me. I wanted one that would be impressive so I said about $40 at most, told him I trust his skills and to make me a nice one. When he was done, I was really disappointed with the bouquet. It looked lifeless, nothing special about it, and the flowers had dull colors to it. Since I had no time left, I had no choice but to deal with it. Was pretty upset that it cost me that much when I could have gone to Mariano's to get a much better arrarangement for a much lower price. The first time I went into the store the guy that was there was extremely friendly and nice, even though I came in at 3 minutes before closing. On my next visit, I can't say the same about the friendliness when the two ladies were there. I bought 3 roses to make a boutineer and corsage for my daughter's prom, which I paid 17$ for. I was strapped for time so I went ahead and purchased them although there's a flower shop a few miles away that sells beautiful roses for 1$ each on Friday's. Overall the boutineer and corsage came out beautiful although one of the roses ended up not working out for the corsage. The only thing I don't like is they are supposed to be open late until 7 but I would suggest you not go there past 6:45 otherwise you'll be disappointed because they close early. read more

This is such a good place. The only "complaint" I have is they close at 7pm. I've definitely showed up at 7:15pm in the past only to realize that I'm too late. That said, I did call him the other day around 6:45pm and he asked me to hurry and he'd stay open for me. That's excellent service. At no point during my visit did he pressure me or look like he was waiting to kick me out. I was very appreciative of the knowledge he was able to provide for me. The first thing I was asked was my budget. I told him between 10 to 20 bucks. He quickly let me know that he wouldn't be trying to upsell me anything. So that was a relief. He gave me some options and then helped me pick out the best flowers. Then he went in the back and made a nice little bouquet and put a bow on it. We live in Arizona (originally from Illinois tho) and we had to order flowers for a wake. I made a call and spoke with John to place the order. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication and the delivery to the funeral home got mixed up. I spoke with Dave who was very nice and helpful even though I was stressed out to the max about the situation. He gave me some alternate options at no extra charge and even threw in a free plant because he felt bad about the miscommunication. He was able to get our flowers delivered asap to the wake.
