They don't just offer flowers either- They have home decor, which, for the holidays (I can't tell you if I love Halloween or Xmas more) is amazing and one-of-a-kind!! She is worth every single penny I have ever spent!! The "I don't think Burlingame Ave shoppers should support" is wrong and of a personal opinion. Walked in to just get an idea of what they were thinking, and after a million questions and pictures, I left very confident in them. Called me a day earlier than my delivery day just to confirm special arrangements, and directions. What a relief to have the whole arrangement done on time. They really exceeded everyone's expectations with the beautiful arrangement. I owe this place a review. I tend to fly for work quite often and this place makes it such a pleasant experience to send flowers. Example of that is when I sent in an order at 2:00AM and request it to be delivered the same day before 12:00PM? No problem. I didn't get to personally see them they were sent to my girlfriend's office but she told me the arrangement was gorgeous while receiving tons of compliments. Thus I definitely wouldn't hesitate to use them again. As this is a review, I have to be honest for the yelpers. The price is a bit high and there are other locations out there with lower prices. However, the service is top notch and the work of the decor on the flower vases are amazing. Amazing work doesn't come cheap. read more

Fabulous service! Love the girls here!!! They helped me with my recent fora project, especially since I'm pretty particular of what I want. I ordered my first floral order with Blooming Vase recently for our maternity shoot. Being an island girl born and raised in Hawaii (now a permanent Burlingame lovely resident and realtor btw ), I was looking for a florist who would be able to make a floral crown or as we call it in Hawaii, "haku lei." I grew up wearing elaborate ones for special occasions such as recitals, parties, holy communion, graduations, and other special events. With this being our first pregnancy, I wanted to incorporate some part of the Hawaiian culture, but I wanted a simplistic, whimsical head piece that focused on whites and greens since that was the theme of our maternity photoshoot. Blooming Vase's team was fabulous in assisting me with my floral crown project, and it turned out great. They're great in communication. The weather was quite uncooperative this past week so our lovely photographer had to reschedule due to the rain. Blooming Vase was able to accommodate as long as I informed them the day before. Wonderful service! I live in Livingston, MT. I placed a last minute online order on 3/2/16 to be delivered the next day (3/3/16) to my best friend who lives in Burlingame, CA. The order arrived at noon at her office and she immediately sent me a picture of her beautiful bouquet- she was so happy with her present! I also selected to send the option of a box of chocolate, they sent a box of Godiva. I am so impressed with the quality of the product, their efficiency at meeting the order deadline and also how easy the online ordering process was. I picked blooming vase based on their yelp reviews but I unfortunately did not have the best experience. I ordered a $150 floral arrangement over the phone and what my recipient received was NOT what I ordered. It really annoyed me because I specifically when online to their own website to let them know what I wanted. I understand that the arrangement will not look 100% the same but something similar would have been alright. Instead they did something completely different. Then to top it off, the arrangement started wilting only after 2 days!! I took the time to email Blooming Vase but sadly never received a response. So I came here because I did some therapy work on a very sweet lady who mentioned herself on being a proud mother. One of her children she said, owns a flowers shop on Burlingame ave which I had to see and try and support. They did my bouquets, centerpieces, focal arrangements, boutonnieres, and a crown for my flower girl and each one was absolutely stunning. I couldn't have been more happy with how they turned out. Susie was great to work with - sharing her opinion in a way that leveraged her expertise in floral design while still keeping the vision mine. She was respectful of my budget which was a very important piece to me as we paid for our wedding fully out of pocket. I learned about Blooming Vase from a friend of mine who worked with Susie for her wedding. Having worked at a florist several years ago, I'm a bit of a flower snob -- but also know that when you find a good florist, you can hand over a vision and the reins, and that's what I needed while planning my wedding. Susie did NOT disappoint. She created the most incredible table top, ceremony and outdoor decor -- and bouquets for me and my bridesmaids that made me cry. She was great about working with me on budget, and made it super easy to work with her. I recommend Blooming Vase as highly as one can recommend anything! I ordered 2 floral centerpieces from Blooming Vase for our wedding ceremony last month at St. Catherine's. It was pretty last minute; I placed my order a week before the day. But the staff was so accommodating and helpful with everything. I gave them my budget and a description of what I wanted and they created 2 beautiful pieces for me. The delivery was included so I didn't have to worry about anything that day. The owner talked me through what I should order (focus more on the overall design and color, rather than the specific flowers) to get the most bang for my buck. I was so happy with the end result. The only thing we had to do was to make sure that we eventually returned the pedestals they used to put the pieces on, and they were super flexible about that as well. The wedding was on a Friday, and they allowed us to return them on the following Monday. Extra bonus: we left the flowers at the church so they could have them as decoration, and there was a wedding the next day that ended up using the pieces as well because they didn't have any flowers for their ceremony. Luckily, the colors of the flowers matched the groomsmen's ties. :) read more
