I ordered from Blooming Vase for my wedding anniversary today, and had an amazing experience. They were incredibly patient and helpful over the phone. I know very little about flowers and they took the time to help me figure out what I was looking for. The flowers arrived within a couple of hours of ordering, and they were beautiful; but there was a minor problem. Some flowers that I asked to be excluded from the arrangement were still there. Not a huge problem, as I just removed them, and was able to make it work. I called to let them know, just in case my order got mixed up with someone else - not expecting to change anything. They were incredibly apologetic and repeatedly asked if there was anything they could do. I reiterated that it really wasn't a big deal, and that I just wanted to make sure they knew in case they was an order swap. Around an hour later, a new arrangement showed up at my door, and it was even more spectacular than the first. I was blown away. That was really above and beyond. Often times with the big flower delivery companies, web sites are too overwhelming & they try to trick you like your getting a discount. Not this florist! I have found my go to florist! I wandered into the Blooming Vase on Saturday afternoon looking for inspiration on what to get my mom for her birthday today. The shop is full of wonderful plants, flowers and gifts to brighten any ones day. Service is helpful in person and on the phone. They even give a discount for Yelpers!! It's Valentines, 2013, I'm not the most romantic but felt the need to do something special... 1) Take smart phone and ask phone to search for B-Game florist. 2)Call Laguna Florist and they wont deliver flowers at a time I need. 3)Call Blooming Vase and I'm greeted with a happy voice seemingly making me feel like I'm at the right spot. I had roses sent to the wife at work already, boring... I wanted to have roses delivered to our table, at Barracuda, so she feels special, so she is surprised, etc. Blooming Rose nailed it. We were seated at 6:30 and I requested delivery between 6:45 to 7:15. They were delivered at 7:05, to our table, right as dinner was served. The young lady that delivered them smiled and handed them to my wife. She left quickly and let me give her a card that I was hiding. The staff there was surprised, the manager complimented me on planning. The truth here is that Blooming Vase, for a 30 minute window, shared the love for my wife, as I do. It's was a wonderful gesture on their behalf to be so accommodating to my odd request on such a busy day. I owe this company the 15 minutes it took me to write this and sign up for Yelp today, Feb. 15th. Its 4:30pm on a Friday and my friends decided to let me know that they are going to chip in with flowers that I was going to get for a friend of ours that just had a beautiful baby girl. Not knowing where to get last minute bouquet, I asked my co-workers. She recommended Blooming Vase. I then called to see if they were able to make a last minute bouquet called Pink Paradise. They checked and let me know that they were out of the mini calla lilies but can substitute for peony. I was ok with that so, I ordered the bouquet to be picked up at 6:30pm that same night. My husband has ordered me flowers from here, I have used them for several work purchases and this past weekend, I came here to pick up a very specific plant that my husband needed for a coworker at the hospital where he works. The woman working there was extremely helpful and while they didn't have the exact plant I was looking for, she took the time to take apart another plant, to create the plant I wanted, to make it look like one of the images my husband had found on their website online. Susie did our wedding flowers. Pure and simple: she did a great job. We started out with a minimalist approach and Susie made me feel just as important as someone spending crazy money on wedding flowers. Little by little we added a bit more, first bridesmaid flowers, then centerpieces, then honorary bridesmaids, and she worked with us the entire time helping but not pushing us to go any bigger than our budget. She delivered the morning of the wedding and when the coordinator brought me my bouquet I was so thrilled because Susie had managed to wrap it with the glitter ribbon I brought her. One was for the Living Room and the other was for the Master Bedroom. This was a very special Birthday event!
