I used to really like Bloomingdale's and while this is a beautiful looking department store with tons of stylish looking pieces for both men and women, upon closer inspection the quality of craftsmanship and materials is lacking. I'm starting to think that these type of stores who open outlets are selling items that are either specially made for them using cheaper fabrics or these would have truly been cast offs that would have never made it into an actual store. read more

More of the Bitsy Shopping Chronicles, Covid Era. Umm, hmmm. I was already in the neighborhood so I thought I'd visit this outlet store since Dallas doesn't get a real Bloomindale's for some reason. No Saks either. Does NM stand for Neiman's Mafia and they're protecting their territory? If anyone has info, please LMK what Dallas did to deserve being shunned in this manner. I parked in the garage and took note of what else the center has to offer (there's a Nordstrom Rack and Off 5th round the way). The guys redoing the shoe display seemed committed to their task, to fashion, and were able to answer my questions. That said, 2 stars for inventory. I know outlet stores aren't meant to carry mass quantities of the premium brands their parent stores do, or they are just one offs in the Clearance section, but I found exactly two brands that I recognized from legit Bloomingdale's (Spiritual Gangster and Ash), and the rest I could probably get cheaper at Marshall's. To be fair, they do carry those store branded shopping and makeup bags you can purchase as a souvenir to remember this pointless errand. I'm actually somewhat disappointed by this store. My wife and I are avid shoppers of all sorts of stores from the low to the high end. While I'm not expecting this store to be exactly like Bloomingdale's main stores, I was surprised how this store is set up. Its a smaller store, as others have commented. Not tiny tiny, but not as big as I think the store should be. The selection of clothes and shoes are good, but not great. You won't find expansive rows of shoes like the Nordstrom Rack right across the street, nor will you find a huge selection of men's suits like Saks Off 5th. Overall the selection was decent, but nothing special. The staff was friendly but didn't go out of their way to help out. I'd say this is your third stop in this shopping area after Saks Off Fifth and Nordstroms Rack. read more

Completely overpriced, even for Bloomies. We had just came from Nordstrom Rack and found the same items $30 to $50 more across the street at Bloomingdales. While the store is very clean and organized, it's far too small and has very little, especially compared to Nordstroms and Saks right there. Sales people were helpful and knowledgeable. Rudest people working here with major attitudes! You would think Bloomingdale's customer service would be good...NOT HERE! Maybe the woman I had the unfortunate displeasure of speaking with to needs to work in a non customer service related position. Her terrible attitude will have me never shop here again. Disclaimer: I have yet to buy ANYTHING here, but I do have major plans for this place in the near future when I get down to a 34 waistline :-) For a guy, this place is nicely laid out. You know where the clearance is, you know where the regular priced stuff is and you know where the business stuff is. That's all you really need. All the clothing is the solid quality and brands you would see from the standard Bloomingdale's but at many times more than 1/2 off so it's easy on the wallet. This review is primarily for men's section. I'd seen the sign up for this location opening soon a few months back. While running errands, I decided to stop in on the chance the Bloomingdale's outlet had finally opened and much to my delight, it had, and they were giving out $25 gift cards for purchases over $50 for the opening weekend. The space is fairly small - it is maybe 1000 square feet smaller than either Nordy's Rack or Saks Off Fifth (also at Park Lane). The men's selection right now has a good selection of Penguin, Hugo Boss, Paul Smith London, Cole Haan, and Bloomingdale's house brand items. As with outlets, the selection of items and brands will likely change very frequently. The men's section has decent sized suit section that has an area for accessories like ties, pocket squares, cufflinks, belts, etc. By the registers there is a large étagère with men's and women's fragrances. The men's layout is a little bit funky. As you walk in, men's is in the back, starting on the right hand side and working its way left before turning into women's and children's. However, there is a little 'peninsula' if you will that juts up in between women's and children's with some additional men's casual shirts, pants, shorts, etc. I missed this section, noticing it only when I was checkin out. Hey, a reason to return! On this haul I scored some cool sneaks, socks, tees, polos, pocket squares and undies for a reasonable amount. I'll definitely be back! read more

I love this store. The staff are so helpful. They always have designer jeans in my size. The selection of Michelle watches is fantastic. I have only been twice, but both times I've found at least 10 great items. I like the size of the store too. It's rather small which I like. I get overwhelmed in big stores. read more

Very cluttered and packed with clothes. Prices are high compared to Neimans Last Call which basically has the same high end choices. Even the sale racks were expensive with no special deals. I don't find the deals here any comparable to those in the store but perhaps I'm not the big balla' type shopper that generally shops here. Umm... ? That was for lack of better words. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE Bloomies, but the Outlet version wasn't very impressive. I actually thought the merchandise at Nordstrom Rack (next door) was better. And to be perfectly honest, I was window shopping. When I window shop, I tend to spend money and this trip was disappointing. For instance, a lot of the Free People items were only marked down $10-$20 at most. A couple deals struck my fancy though- i.e. the shoe department was having one of those blow out sales. Some shoes were marked down an additional 40-60% off. read more

I was excited about this addition to the shopping area and was equally impressed when I first walked through their doors. They have done a fabulous job of decorating the store and an even better job of immediately greeting the customer and making you feel welcomed and attended too. However, it doesn't take long to realize that their selection is a little lacking and their prices don't really speak to the whole "outlet" theme. At first glance the women's department seems good sized but when you consider it is broken into the various sizes and departments (Women's, Juniors, denim and dresses, etc..), its not that big at all. They have a sliver of clothing for boys which is a serious bummer. My last visit was right before the holidays and I had gone in specifically to shop for a niece and nephew. The boys section was in the far back corner of the store and it was three sad racks of clothing. The girls section was a little better so I was able to score a great dress for my niece but left empty handed for my nephew. The shoe & handbag departments are adequate but not laid out well at all. They are clumped together in their own designated area and the handbag area makes you feel a bit clostrophobic. Mix it up a little people! I have yet to shop in the men's department which I think is a good thing. From what I recall of it there wasn't much to look at. The real shinning star about this place is the sales staff. They are super helpful without being bothersome. Their friendly and if I was rating the store on the staff alone I would give them 5 stars! read more

i've never seen a bloomies outlet store except for this one in dallas. why would ANYONE shop at any of those normal stores if you have this in town?! it literally has almost ANYTHING u could ever imagine but at the most reduced prices. i've been here approximately 2-3 times. and each time i've walked away with insane deals but really you should lock me up because it feels more like im stealing from them. prime example: i bought a $480 rebecca taylor dress for $44. i bought a $498 tibi 100% silk dress for only $40. HOW DO YOU SAY NO TO THESE DEALS?! if you're a girl and you love expensive, bougie, name brand things at a fraction of the cost (aka WHO WOULDNT) definitely come here. also theres guy stuff too! tho my man has rarely found anything he really liked. i think nordstrom rack's guy selection is a little better (right across the street!) read more

I actually like Bloomingdale's better than the Saks Off 5th outlet. Found a great dress for a wedding here in less than 30 minutes, great selection of dresses! Shoe selection is pretty good as well. I'm a regular Bloomies shopper so was excited that this outlet was in Dallas. I like it better than the Nordstrom Rack. Bloomies Outlet has a nice selection of designer goods some at a good price some not so much. There are a lot of good brands such as Michael Kors, Vince Camuto, DKNY, Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs and more. I would say it's worth a stop if you're in the area. read more

Finally! An outlet store for those of us who can't afford the rich-witch stores. I am loving this one so far. I went to shop for Christmas gifts for others, but it quickly became the ME ME ME store. I walked out with a black cashmere sweater, black North Face boots that are just the cutest foot covers I've ever had (well, except the 4 inch heels from my younger days), and a black pea coat for hubby, and a couple other outfits for ME! I went back to exchange hubby's pea coat because he's too fluffy for it. Too bad, they didn't have another in his size. SO, more stuff for me! I did get an adorable pair of cheetah Jeggings for my 9 year old granddaughter, and a highly desired Guess jacket for her. I actually bought it for my 13 yr old g-daughter, but she's already upgraded to The North Face, so minky number 2 gets the Guess jacket, and Princess got the NF one she wanted. LOVE this store! Going back today to see what else they have for ME! p.s. When I returned the pea coat, and then later a pair of pants, they were SO polite! Most department stores act like you threw up on their shoes when you want your money back. read more
