Mr. Coty came out in less than 24 hours and had my dryer working in short order. Excellent all around. Update:: had a major electrical issue last week and two of my appliances burnt out. My stove was 28 years old and no parts were available so I bought a new one but my dishwasher is still recent so I called Rod. He came out and fixed it for a good price. BEFORE the 30 warranty expired the unit started making a horrible noise during the spin cycle (so loud, my neighbor could hear it in the next apartment). I contacted the store and they put me in touch with a man named Carlton. Soon after, a service man was sent. He said the washer needed a bearing and he'd order it and come back after Christmas to do the repair. I waited...and waited....and waited. Oh, I was also calling, and calling and calling. When I FINALLY got Carlton on the phone again he said they were still waiting on the part. His exact words were "Don't worry, we're going to take care of you". That's a joke. I waited and had to start calling again to see what was going on. Thats when he stopped answering the phone again. I called at least 40 times, with no answer. I went to the store and was told there was no one there to help me. So I waited a month, figuring, they'd think I'd given up. Yup, a man named GIOVANNI answered. He claimed he knew nothing about the situation. We had a discussion and he said he find out what was going on. He said they'd either fix the unit or give me another one. He yet again assured me "DON'T WORRY, WE'RE GOING TO TAKE CARE OF YOU". He then said he was going to call me back THAT AFTERNOON. ,Haven't heard from the guy since - that was 23 day ago. The phone was answered promptly and was informed that I would shortly be receiving a call from the service tech.. About 90 minutes later, Sam called and came by my house in the late afternoon. Sam was courteous and professional. He quickly identified the problem which required ordering a part. He provided an estimate for the repair and when the part would likely arrive. The part arrived late Friday and he came by 9am Saturday morning to install, put the washer back in its place, and ran it through a test mode. Worked perfectly! Total cost was $240 for part, labor, and service call. I felt that was very reasonable. I will use Midway Appliance again and will recommend them to my friends/family. I read another review that gave 1 star for a $50 charge for a service call, diagnostic, and removing the old appliance. In my opinion, that was a very reasonable charge for the provided service.
