Called about a problem with delivery. The man I spoked with admitted it was a miscommunication on their part. That the item should have been put on the truck for delivery that day but it wasn't. So I asked when it would be remedied and he seemed unapologetic and in no rush to fix it. Told me someone would contact me about delivery. They didn't call back that week. 1 star I genuinely want Wagner to succeed as a local business, but our experience was unacceptable. We bought a Speed Queen washer and dryer. While waiting for them, Wagner provided a loaner washer with a hole in the discharge hose, which flooded our basement. When our new washer arrived, a pipe was broken during installation, flooding the basement a second time and forcing us to shut off water to the entire house. Then our new dryer required 2-3 hour-long cycles to dry clothes. When we called, we were met with defensiveness and blame, including suggestions that our venting might be the problem. Wagner installed the vent. And the vent WAS the problem. Their hose was cramped/restricted behind the dryer. Once corrected, the dryer worked perfectly. The customer service was worse than the mistakes. We actually drove to the store because of how rude the phone interaction had become. The salesperson was so argumentative that he eventually said, "I guess I'll just stop talking until you tell me it's okay." Later the manager sent photos "for our documentation." I responded with my before photos showing Wagner's original vent installation. He asked if my husband still wanted a call; we scheduled it for the next day. He never called. Mistakes happen. Two floods and a bad vent installation are frustrating, but what earned one star was the defensiveness and lack of basic accountability afterward. I chose a local dealer because I want businesses like Wagner to exist. I hope they improve, because customer service shouldn't feel like a schoolyard fight. Sometimes "We're sorry. I bought a used dryer for my elderly mother and she didn't even use it half dozen of times and it stopped working. If you're going to resell something you should make sure it's in working condition before you sell it to someone. They're going to charge me 79.95 to come out and diagnose the problem. It don't take much to diagnose that I got screwed I don't need you to charge me more for that. Their problem is that they take your old dryer resell it and rip someone else off. . The lady that I spoke with got loud with me and talking over me so I had to cuss her out. But I'm the problem. I wouldn't recommend these people to anyone especially if you're buying for an elderly person. 0 stars for business and customer service. My wife and I just purchased a Cafe double oven range. Dave Jackson was very knowledgeable about the different appliances and their features. He made the sale painless. After being ordered, the appliance came in a timely fashion. The stove was delivered the same day that Wagner received it. The delivery was extremely challenging to say the least. Our kitchen is small and getting the range in the proper location was tough. The two gentleman who did the delivery were patient, courteous and extremely professional. Am I glad I did. They were beyond helpful and NO hidden costs. I bought a refurbished washer and dryer and could not be happier. They came with a 45 day warranty and if I wanted to buy an extended one it was beyond fair in price. There is NOTHING negative to say I am very happy with my purchase and the way I was treated. Service like it actually matters, texting with me to get ALL my questions answered, so much more comprehensive than a big box store could provide. And same price (within $10) of the lowest big box store price. AND they pick up old appliances for FREE, AND they are committed to recycling the items rather than dumping them in the land fill. On this alone I would use Wagner even if their prices were a bit higher -- but they're great prices! Love Wagner! Their website is a little glitchy and I almost gave up when I first got on there. Beware! The sales people at this establishment is only interested in money! No sense of fairness at all towards the customer. I went there looking for a 6 foot washer hose to replace a damaged one. The sales person said they only had 4 foot one, but assured me this would work. So I purchased the item only to have to bring it back when it wasn't even close to fitting. Very rude sales person informed me it had been opened so he couldn't take it back. Lowe's Home Improvement? No! I never Hooked up the hose, didn't take anything out of the bag. But I measured the hose and it was just under 4 feet. Just leaving this review so others will know don't take their word for anything! Buy your appliance parts anywhere but here. I purchased a used refrigerator and of course it was several days for delivery. When it arrived, the fridge did not cool or freeze (the water in an ice tray actually evaporated). When I called the store to let them know, no one answered, however you can leave a voicemail or hit a button to leave a text. I left both, voicemail never answered and it took hours to get any response. I finally went down there. The store attendant said, "this happens a lot that's why we provide a 45-day warranty." So we discussed my choices: 5 days waiting period for repair, 4 day waiting period for an exchange or refund minus a 20% restocking fee (for a broken refrigerator mind you). At first I chose the repair. After thinking about it, and the issues of communication and waiting time for repair, I decide for the refund. I sent text message and nothing. As to asking about getting repair for the originally broken one, I was told: "we only repair appliances we have sold." That should tell us something. Trip number two to the store to get answers, at this point I already scraped it up to buy a new one in the box. Needed the broken one out. They came several days later and took the broken fridge and left a check minus $89 for "restocking fee." The once great used appliance store, the place you go when you need quality is gone. If you have time to continue going to the store to get answers on service then this is the place for you. As for me, I will trust Marketplace over Wagner everytime. read more

The issue was the lack of communication. If I did not reach out to you I would not have known nothing. It should not take for me to have call you, text you, or drive to a store to get answers. You were not at my home. And if your delivery men would have simply opened their mouths then no one would have heard from us. 6/21/24 I purchased a dishwasher with instillation on 6/29. The delivery address was not my home. Wagoners delivered to wrong address and no message about rescheduling delivery. They said they texted me a message but nothing in my text history. I did get a message from tenant at 11 am that no delivery was made. I called Wagners to reschedule delivery and then they produced a picture of front door. I let them know I never received any information from them that delivery was not made or to reschedule delivery. No correspondence was unkind until they accused me of thinking they were lying. I told them I don't know who was lying and I wanted to reschedule. They canceled the order and now I have to wait 7 - 10 days to get a mailed check. So they had my money to use for 30 days. I thought they would want to know I did not receive any texts about delivery or lack there of to correct any problems in the future since these things do happen. read more

I called Wagoner Appliances to tell them that the tumbler in my dryer had stopped turning, and when I took the dryer apart I could see that the belt had broken. I spoke with David and asked what would be the cost for replacing the belt. Since the issue was identified he said that the total cost would be no more than $100. When the technician came out I already had everything apart and it took him no more than 10 minutes. They charged me $107.00 stating that they had to add tax to the service. But, when I initially called and asked David if it was the belt what would be the most I could expect to pay and he stated that the TOTAL bill would be no more than $100. This company over charges and looks for anyway they can to add charges to the bill. I will NEVER do anymore business with this company again !!! Very poor business principles ! read more

They did everything they could to ensure delivery, but when it was delayed until June, they immediately worked out a solution. They are very willing to work with you and their service was excellent. These guys are simply the best! I was shopping for a new washer and dryer and went to two big box stores only to be met with excuses and no knowledge of what they were selling. I showed up at Wagner appliance on Saturday 8 minutes before closing. Zeb Worley helped me and completely took his time, didn't rush me and helped me select just what I needed. Then after all that he ask if we would like them delivered on the following Monday. The two box store told me maybe September or October, it's the 2nd week of July. Well they came out to deliver them today. The guys showed up on time brought everything with them, new hoses, power cord, and vent tube for the dryer all at no additional cost. They even moved our old ones to the garage. They stayed until everything was perfect and couldn't have been nicer. All this and I saved around $500 versus what the two bigbox stores had quoted. They offer delivery & financing, plus a personal touch that isn't possible at a chain store like Lowes. They helped me stay under my budget & even gave me advice on self repair. I spent a while looking around on Craigslist for a used washer and dryer for my apartment. After not finding any particularly good deals (and being given a hard time by one used appliance seller about what time I could come see his wares), we went to Wagner. The salesmen at Wagner were friendly and helpful, and we found a better deal there than we probably would have anywhere else ($320 for a matching, perfectly functional set of used Whirlpool w/d). Wagner knocked $30 off our price because we showed up with our own moving truck, but in hindsight it would have been well worth it to pay $30 for their guys to deliver and install. read more
