I had a great time with Maxine for my Blow Dry appointment. I needed party ready hair for 2 events two nights in a row. She understood my basic requirements and then got straight to work while I slapped a sheet mask on my face to prep for the first event. My hair held and was bouncy and voluminous both nights. She gave my basic care instructions so I could maximize my blow out. It was really fun to hang out with Maxine and all the stylists in the salon. They gave me hair tips when I talked of some of my current frustrations and their advice was just thoughtful and solid. These ladies are great and the experience is just solid. No DryBar, no problem. I got a blowout for a holiday party back in January and I forgot to leave a review! This place is very clean and comfortable inside which I liked. Also located near a tasty boba spot that I really enjoyed. The gal that did my blowout was sweet but kind of quiet, unusual from the hairstylists i've had do my hair in the past at other salons. My hair turned out "ok" I had it done because I felt like a professional would have been able to do it better than I could have. The truth is my hair was super flat for the party :( I wasn't super impressed with the outcome and wish I would have done it myself. read more

I came in from out of town and needed a blow dry for an event. It had been raining in L.A. and my hair was frizz city! They got me in quickly and Stephanie gave me one of the best blow outs I've ever had. And I get weekly blow outs at Drybar back home, so I've probably had a thousand blow outs in my day. My hair was sleek, shiny, bouncy and exactly what I wanted. They use Redken products here. The salon is very clean and comfortable and Stephanie is a sweetheart. It was my first time getting a blowout service done so I had nothing to compare it to. The person doing my hair was nice and I thought she took her time. I did arrive on time and she was came a little late. I didn't mind because I wasn't rushing. However, I wasn't really explained what was being done to me. I tried asking few questions. I chose a service that was 120 dollars --and the girls were explaining to the person doing my hair "this is what you use" so I'm sure she knew how to do it, but it seemed like she didn't know what services I bought or the package I ordered? I heard comments like "what is that? I don't know what that includes? What do I use?" The girl at the front desk was explaining to her how to proceed. I really did like the gloss service, but there were a lot of little things that disappointed me. When I went home, I realized she didn't do the 10 min scalp massage. There wasn't a lot of product that was used when styling was done. (She put hairspray on top of my forehead, but not on my curls so when I went home I put on my own flexible hair spray because the curls were starting to fall. Maybe she put heat protectant? But still not sure because she didn't really say anything). read more

I've been getting blow outs done since they opened by Carrington weekly. The atmosphere is comfortable and I can relax with a glass of mimosa every blow out. Carrington is super gentle and gives great head messages! She great at making my braids last until my next visit! I always leave very happy with my blow out! 10/10 would recommend. read more

Love this salon! I have gotten 3 blowouts from two different girls. Celeste and Adrian both did amazing! We celebrated my daughters 7th birthday here with little princess updos and glitter makeup from their makeup artist. Everyone is very professional and all the areas are very very clean. I've been here a couple times now and each time I've received excellent service. I was there a couple weeks back and Ingrid was my stylist and since I have really thin curly hair it gets extra frizzy with just a blow out. Ingrid went above and beyond and made sure to go over it with a curling iron so that the frizz goes away. My hair held the curls and no frizz for 2 days and that's only because I washed it otherwise I'm sure it would have lasted longer. I highly recommend this place everyone is so sweet. read more

My daughter and her friends had so much fun getting their hair and makeup done. The owner is so professional and sweet! She had sparkling apple cider and cupcakes for the girls. The two girls who did their hair and mine did a beautiful job. The curls and braids were so pretty. The girls also loved having their makeup done by a professional. It was bright and glittery, perfect for 10 year olds. The salon is extremely clean and super cute! We had so much fun taking photos, especially with the ivy background. This place may be one of the best blow-outs I've ever gotten in my life (and I've gotten a lot). I've gone twice now and both times the blow-outs have lasted for days and still stayed in place with just a little dry shampoo here and there. Plus she was stash he she asked me why am I moving my head a lot well bc she had extremely long nails and I felt nervous when she was close to my face plus she asked me why didn't u go to your hair stylist? Decided to come back & try someone new since Carolyn no longer works here :( but that wasn't a great idea....the stylist didn't wash my hair fully, my hair is still oily. She also put no heat protection while proceeding to blow dry, straighten and curl my hair. Also my hair is literally flat and it's been 1 day. Came during the grand opening to my girlfriend a gift certificate. She got a "blow out" and loved it! They even gave her a mimosa during her service which I thought was a classy touch. While I was sitting in the waiting area they let me know that they did mens hair cuts so I gave it a shot. Came out pretty decent for a women's salon! I have to start off by saying, I REALLY do appreciate this staff. The family owned and the girls. I went here for a blowout, regular, and during the process my hair was being stubborn and the girls were on top of this right away. From spending three hours with me & the manager of the salon gave me product and a gift card to come back, which I will, because the staff takes care of their clients. They genuinely care and it shows. I believe my stylist was Celeste and she rocked it, she stayed after her shift to take care of me. I will be coming back and if I could this place would get 10 stars.
