I've known Cassie for over 10 years. She's a rock star friend, and an amazingly talented stylist. Her staff is warm, inviting, and fun, as is her salon. She is always open to my needs and ideas, even if I've been there a hundred times and always revert to my signature cut. I am always satisfied and happy with my color, cut, and style. She just recently did a color correction where she brought me down from a very dark brown(almost black)to a rich dark chocolate brown. I left feeling beautiful and happy. Cassie did my hair and makeup for my wedding in May 2018. Originally I had planned to wear my hair down, but with the heat and humidity that day we elected to put it in a low, retro updo. I was nervous, but Cassie made it looks literally perfect. My hair was stunning, my makeup was beautiful without being overwhelming, and both lasted all day despite the humidity and numerous happy tears. My go to girl is Marisa, she has been doing my hair for years and I can't imagine having anyone else do it. Cassie is the absolute best!! She did my hair and make up for my wedding and it was perfect. I'm smaller featured and typically never wear make up and she made it look so natural and elegant. I did my hair down with flowing waves and it still looked good on the plane the next morning to our honeymoon!! Beyond her amazing bridal skills - she really helped keep me calm and relaxed as the nerves started to kick in!! Since then I had been making special trips out from NYC because she's that's good!! I trust no one else. I'm psyched to have relocated to CT, because it's even easier to get out to her. She is a magician with color and a warm, funny, wonderful person. I have been in since they reopened during COVID and they take the healthy and safety of everyone so seriously. I was so comfortable and at ease with how she and her team have gone above and beyond to bring a wonderful salon experience during these times. My girl Marisa is the BOMB!!!!!!! I came from a different salon that messed my hair up. I came to Marisa after many recommendations and there's no one else I'd trust my hair with!! Only thing annoying about this salon is that you can't use a groupon offer with my hairdresser. The owner will only let one specific hairdresser in the salon use them. read more
