The strawberry marshmallow was yum! Definitely marshmallow-like and the strawberry gave it a great flavor profile. The lemon cake batter was lemony, tart but not sour, and it really did feel like I was eating cake batter. I would get these flavors again. Service was good, store appeared clean, and I was the only one there--so I was in and out, in less than 5 minutes.

Happy to report, Dairy Queen stayed true to their motto and my blizzard was served upside down. Now on to the cheese curds. They were so yummy and bite sized, where you can pop a whole one right into your mouth with no regrets..and I did just that lol. They were hot and pretty cheesy too. They gave me options for a dipping sauce and I went with the marinara and just gotta say, I was impressed with their Heinz Marinara. At 7:43 PM, one of the workers came out from behind the counter and told about 10-15 of us in line that we would have to leave because they close at 8. She was very kind about it, and she kept saying "I hate having to do this," but it made absolutely no sense. She arbitrarily split the line, and decided some people could stay, but said the rest of us (5 girls ahead of us, and 7-8 people behind us) had to go. Mind you, the girls in front of us and our group were ALREADY IN THE SHOP. Everyone looked really confused, understandably. I've literally never had this happen to me before. I held up my phone to show the worker the time, and I said, "Its only 7:43. We have 17 minutes before closing." Others said, "but we're already in the shop" or "but we've been waiting in line for a while." None of this made any difference. We all still had to leave. Even though there was plenty of time to get everyone ice cream. And god-forbid they have to keep working until 8:05 or 8:10 to make sure patrons who waited in line could get ice cream. What kind of shop does this?? How is this acceptable? "Bad customer service" puts it mildly. I could spell out a million other better ways this could have been done. Do better, Scoop.
