This review is specifically for Salvador and the three staff members working on May 8th…read more When I walked into the store, I was not acknowledged, despite the store being nearly empty. I then sat for several minutes waiting for assistance with a return, only to be spoken to in a dismissive manner once someone finally approached me. There were only two customers in the store at the time, so the lack of service was especially disappointing. Afterward, I followed up with my SA, who has always provided excellent service, and my concerns were escalated to management. Unfortunately, instead of taking accountability for how I was treated, Salvador responded with an email attempting to justify the behavior by implying the team was busy assisting others. That explanation simply did not reflect the reality of the situation. I responded respectfully, emphasizing that accountability matters and expressing hope that this could serve as a learning opportunity for the staff. I also clarified that my experience should not be attributed to high traffic when the store was clearly not busy. I never received a response. At this point, I question how thoroughly my complaint was actually reviewed. It feels easier for staff to claim they were occupied than to acknowledge poor customer service and address it honestly.

Extremely disappointing experience with The RealReal in Palo Alto…read more I went through their entire process just to schedule an in-person valuation appointment, which required providing a significant amount of information beforehand. I then met with Sam for the evaluation and was told that I would receive an email afterward with all of the valuation numbers. That email never came. I waited and followed up by email with The RealReal, but received absolutely no response, despite them bombarding me with registration emails as well as appointment confirmation emails. No valuation numbers, no update, no explanation...nothing. What makes this especially frustrating is how much information and time they require from you just to get through the door for an appointment. I did everything they asked, showed up for the evaluation, and was specifically told I would receive the results afterward. To then be completely ignored is incredibly unprofessional. I genuinely feel like I wasted my time going through this entire process. If you're going to require customers to provide their information and come in for an appointment, the very least you can do is follow through on what you promised and respond when they reach out. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and follow-through from The RealReal Palo Alto.

The RealReal - Palo Alto - It's outrageous that the bad shoes are so bad. It's terrifying that employees of a listed company would steal and wear guests' shoes.

Even though their policy says bags can be returned within thirty days, they made an exception for me! I'm so happy! They gave me my three hundred bucks back, and there was no pressure to buy anything else instead. I bought the sportier version in mocha without the gold hardware. I like it so much more than the bougie bag! I'm not a fan of gold on my bags. I like the sporty and casual look so much more than the bougie look! So minimalist, so light!!

While I still like Cuyana products, the service in this location is disappointing. You're better off staying online if you can. The last time we were at the Stanford shopping center, we happened to see a sign outside Cuyana that said treats/drinks with Anton (Patisserie). So I excitedly thought why not drop in? We see a table at the back with several treats, and debate which ones to try. Just as I'm debating a second macaron to grab for my husband, the associate approaches us for the first time during our visit. She apparently was watching us from behind, visibly upset and worked up about how it's only ONE per person. Ok, chill, no need to speak like we're thieves or a nuisance -- especially because this is the first time you've bothered to interact with us at all during the visit without any acknowledgement or greeting upon us entering? Read the room. You obviously don't care about service but are worried about one too many treats for a couple of people just happy to be there and look around. Talk about being unwelcoming. What's the point of advertising treats when your customers don't even feel welcomed to enjoy them? And no we're not there "just for free stuff."

I don't love the shopping culture of Aritzia. Everyone has to come out and show off what they look like in the clothes in front of each other ? The staff have attitudes here and looking at customers with dirty looks - they would rather be anywhere else and it shows. Management not taking care of them maybe ? Not a great shopping experience. Might be a fun place to grab a small gift for a family member, but I'm done buying clothes at Aritzia ! Good luck to this business model !

Once I had a few items picked out, she offered to get my things set up in the fitting room. I happily obliged. Once I got in there to try things on, I was approached by the fitting room attendant about sizes and other options to try my selections out with. I ended up purchasing a quilted jacket and stiped t-shirt. The only thing I'm a little disappointed about was that I had another basic tank top that I brought with me to checkout, but they got it mixed up with go-backs and didn't ring me up for it. I got home wondering where it was, and then realized they never charged me for it. A bummer, but at least I didn't pay for something I didn't go home with. Nevertheless, still a great customer experience. From the moment I stepped inside to my time at the checkout, every single employee I came into contact with treated me kindly and like I was a girlfriend they were helping to pick an outfit for. Will definitely be back in when I'm in the Stanford area.
