Came here today for a facial using my spa finder gift card. It was a lovely experience. The waiting room alone is so peaceful. I was offered a coffee while waiting. I got the seaweed facial from Elizabeth. My skin is currently glowing. They are located in the doctor building across from 7-11 in case you have a hard time finding it. I visited this spa a few months ago because I had a SpaFinder gift card, and had an amazing Hydra facial that I decided to come back to book massages for both my daughter and I. It was for my daughter's birthday and they made it so very special, even bringing out a dessert with a candle! My masseuse was very good, her technique reached every muscle and I felt so relaxed and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her massage as well. I wanted to kick off the new year with a little TLC and I found Blue Amber Spa via Google. I booked a 50 min therapeutic massage with Lorraine. The place is VERY clean and was greeted warmly by Beata (the owner). I'm half Polish so I always try to support local Polish businesses when I can and it's always a great conversation starter haha. The energy at Blue Amber Spa is relaxing and positive. I met Lorraine and before we thoroughly broke down my needs, pain areas, etc and we talked during the entire massage! Not in an annoying small talk way but educational honestly! We spoke about my history with injuries and she shared suggestions on post massage care and stretches to prevent further pain. My wife and I had a couples massage on Friday, December 27th. My masseuse was Lorraine, and my wife's masseuse was Ragda. Both were EXCELLENT! I immediately felt at ease as the massage began. I envisioned some small talk, but I was so relaxed I didn't want to talk. Our massage was scheduled for an hour, but in hindsight, we should have requested a 90-minute massage. Before we knew it the massage was over and we both felt relaxed and at ease. The spa was very clean and nice looking. The staff was very professional and nice. But I was very disappointed to see they scheduled a tiny older woman to give a deep tissue massage and she just did not have the ability. I asked for her to do it as hard as possible and it was the lightest massage ever. Even for a sweedish massage it would not have been great. But it was very disappointing for a deep tissue and felt like a huge waste of money. read more

I called to confirm if they accepted the spafinder gift certificate, which they did. I was hoping to get in for a massage that same weekend. They accommodated my daughter and I for massages and made recommendations for other services to try, while we waited for each other to finish our massages. We decided on the salt room - a soothing and serene place to clear your mind and relax. From beginning to end, this was an extraordinarily relaxing day. From making the appointment to every aspect of the services provided, it was an exceptional experience. The facility is prestine and immaculate. The owners were super welcoming and graceful. She is a first time mom and is 6 months postpartum and she said she felt so relaxed and like a lot of tension was relieved from the massage. This was my first visit to the Blue Amber Spa and Wellness Center. It won't be my last. The reception area is very clean, calming and nicely decorated. The treatment room was spacious, soothing and very clean. Lorraine, my masseuse, took the time to review my medical history. I booked an 80 minute hot Himalayan Salt stone massage. She showed me the stones prior to my massage. Lorraine made sure the stones were not too hot. It was wonderful. At the end of the massage, my feet were wiped free of the oil. No slipping inside my shoes. Finally, I was offered the choice of water or herbal tea and was not rushed to drink it. There is ample parking on site.
