Our first impression was decent, but everything after that has been mishandled. This business doesn't respect customers or their pets.

Blue Pearl came to my house and were so sweet and loving to her and came up with NOT a hospice plan but a long-term plan to balance meds/quality of life/ improvement where possible journey. They were also phenomenal in walking me through the plan and answering any questions. The vet had pointed out some concerns with her pain level and knee and asked me to get it xray-ed asap. Turns out it was bone cancer and it had spread everywhere. I contacted my primary vet at Blue Pearl and they gave me options for her and listened to my concerns...not to mention they were incredibly sympathetic to my dilemma of coming to terms of what was best for my girl in helping her not suffer. I had to let her go shortly after and they came and spent time with her and me and gave her treats and made sure she was happy and relieved. They called and checked in on me after and would chat about what an impression she made even if they short time they knew her. I can't recommend Blue Pearl enough - I would do this 1000x over because they were caring, thorough, available, and gave Leeloo the best care in the short time ahead had left. Sorry for the long sappy post but it was money well spent.

My little cat was shot by some evil person in my neighborhood (who I'm actively hunting BTW). Luckily the pellet/bb/bullet didn't hit any vital organs and he's going to be okay. They got him back there immediately and ran an x-ray and took great care of the little guy. I hope I don't ever need to take him back but if ever I do, I have them saved in my favorites. If you guys happen to see my post, I just want to thank you again. Thank you SO MUCH!!

They were doing a shift change and there were at least 12 vets and techs there. NO ONE offered to help us carry in this large cage and they could see we were elderly (75). Then we sat in the room crying about our feral cat while they were laughing out in the exam area. Very rude and uncaring atmosphere. The vet wanted us to put the injured feral cat back out in the 20 degree weather rather than gently put him to sleep and out of his misery. My friend warned us not to go there because they were rude and uncaring with her cat. We just came from our regular Vet who actually examined the feral cat and said he would not have made it one more night outside because he was extremely malnourished and dehydrated. He had not come for food at our house for 8 days. I am deeply troubled that the ER did not examine this animal before refusing care and offering guidance that directly conflicted with the medical findings of a licensed veterinarian. I am sharing this so others can advocate strongly for animals in distress and consider their options carefully. Please trust your instincts and seek a second opinion if something does not feel right.
