My friend had a strawberry shake (hey Mikey's ice cream) and she didn't like the flavor and there were no real strawberries in it for $10. She's a DQ kinda girl, so don't take her opinion to heart. I finished her shake (oink) and it was yummy! (.50 cents of every shake sold goes to Kidz Harbor) Real nice staff. Bible verses everywhere. The owners are Adrian Hembree and VJ Nandlal who were on the wrong road back in the day and didn't have God in their lives; once blind now they see! They buy their meat from local ranchers and ice cream from a local ice cream shop. (these people are in photos on their walls) The restaurant is huge and has a nice outdoor space, as well as, a cozier inside space. I like their story. I like the staff. When I'm back in Alvin I'll come back for the pizza

Every single time I order a salad with no tomatoes, I get tomatoes in my salad. I imagine it's because their lettuce is stored next to the tomatoes while it's on the line. It's frustrating but definitely never been a major issue, I check the salad before I leave drive thru and they're typically more than willing to remake it properly. The ranch at this location is addictive. It's obviously a house made ranch of some kind. Absolutely amazing. Their tenders are tenders and fries are typical fast food fries. The salads are the only dish they ever consistently mess up. They've never messed up anything else for my boyfriend or I. And the ice cream is great. All in all, this place is about what I'd expect from a small Dairy Queen. And way better service than a few other locations in town.
