So excited that Friendswood has a store like this now! My brother recommended this place to me, and luckily they were open on Easter Sunday. I had the lavender milk tea and an apple cinnamon scone. I usually like my tapioca drinks to me on the "less sweeter" side so I was pleased when I discovered that their version was just to my liking and not overly sweet. The texture of the boba was nice and chewy as well. The scone was the perfect little sweet thing and wasn't overly sweet either. It was a win in my book! Nice to see that they also have ice cream similar to that of the previously beloved TCBY location. I also tried the Thai green milk tea. I'll order that next time! Will return! read more

NamasTea is the newest tea and ice cream shop in Friendswood, and I hope they are here to stay for years to come! They took over the old TCBY building in downtown Friendswood, but the way they decorated the space gives this complex a breath of fresh air. With their lots of natural lighting, light pink interior, and plenty of greenery, this little cafe is perfect for an afternoon pick me up, mid day treat, or after dinner dessert. The owner seems to have taken my order, and her family happened to be visiting when I stopped in. The joy on the kids' faces when trying the different drinks and pastries made me know I was in for a treat. I tried their hot dirty chai latte w/ almond milk, and 1 of their homemade raspberry white chocolate scones. Simply perfection, enough said. The chai latte wasn't overly sweet, the espresso shot gave me the afternoon energy I needed, and the almond milk is always a great dairy alternative. The scone literally had the best texture, it reminded me of being back in London. Only thing missing was the clotted cream to go with it like during high tea. I can't wait to try the rest of their menu whenever I come back again. Knowing my clumsy self, I accidentally spilled my drink when I was trying to take a picture of it. The staff didn't hesitate to help me clean it up, and they even made me another drink for free. I felt so bad, but I really appreciated their customer service. Thank you again! As far as covid protocols goes, masks are required to enter, social distancing is enforced, scannable menu, and hand sanitizer is available. I'm really excited for this new business in Friendswood, and I'm sure I'll become a regular here. Next time, I'm trying out their milk tea and cafe sua da for sure! Cheers! read more

I drove 25 minutes to come try this place as it was recommended in a Facebook group that I'm in. However, upon arrival I was told that they ran out of boba, which was pretty disappointing. But the two ladies that helped me were super nice and comped me a free tea to try out, which was super delicious. It was the strawberry hibiscus tea! If I'm close to this area again, I will definitely come back to redo my first experience. read more

Stopped in here on a whim and I'm glad I did! I'm a sucker for fruity drinks so I ordered a coconut milk tea with lychee jelly and passion fruit popping boba. It was delicious. I ordered a medium and it was a bit too sweet for me to drink the whole thing (which is saying a lot because I almost never get "sugared out."). I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. read more

A new boba place for Friendswood! Their options are quite limited for drinks. But they brew every single cup of tea. 3.75 for an ice cream cone with a single scoop but a little extra for the strawberry dipped cone is so good! They pack in blue bell ice cream so you know it's good. Very generous with the serving size. One scoop is more than enough!! Cant rave about the dipped cones! Strawberry shortcake bar flavors!! First of all I would like to say that I'm glad there is a spot like this near home. I lived in China town for several years and miss being in the middle of the best tea shops and food ever. This place is super cute inside, plenty of room to sit. Has ice cream, cake balls and a few other sweets. I came for a milk tea with boba. My tea to milk ratio seemed off and the tea was quite strong. There was not enough ice in my cup though either so that could've had something to do with it. Needless to say I will be back. read more

Place is nice but they don't display prices. I ordered the large drink and it came out to 10 dollars!! At those prices this place is not going to be open for long. Not even Starbucks drinks come out that much. I was expecting to be mind blown at that price but it's nothing special. read more

Visited for the first time to try their ice cream. They had a large variety of flavors, we tried the mango and green tea ones specifically. The mango was great and the green tea was exceptionally good! The owner was very nice and spent some time talking to us about various things. i got the 16 oz thai green tea with honey boba and it is soooo good. it has a very strong jasmine flavor which personally i like. my cup came with a good amount of boba and ice. the workers were nice and friendly. they have lots of sweet baked goods which i will definitely be going back to try they look SO good. read more
