The resort is about an hr from West Yellowstone entrance. So glad I booked the Willow cabin as it was definitely better to have your own bathroom and full kitchen access. There's hardly anything around so highly suggest to bring your own water coffee eggs fruits etc---we didn't utilize the morning bfast option and it was more much convenient for us to the the kitchen in our cabin. Also parking is first come first serve. But the cabin was comfortable and cute. There's Netflix and other various apps available on the TV (there was an additional TV in the bedroom), and ofc wifi. First I want to say this, this was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I would be ranting on how this place the best but let me just list the pros and cons. Pros: FREE breakfast with microwaveable food and coffee, hot cocoa, and apple cider 30 minutes to the west entrance of Yellowstone Beautiful sights to look at 10-20 minutes anywhere out from the resort Absolutely amazing staff FREE Sauna (45min) included in your room for reservation Great cabins with a microwave with all the necessary equipment (oven and stovetop is only in the willow cabins) Rental shop with ski mobile and ATV's in the winter and boats in the summer with a lake next to the resort Almost no one in the spring (50$ for the willow cabins) Cons: Costs money to use the washing machine (uses coins) The last chance shop next to it is a SCAM (6$ for a half-gallon of milk) 45~ minutes to rexburg for groceries Crowded in the summer Overall one of the best places I have ever been in. Okay so where do I begin.... Maybe with the fact that they have shamelessly bought 5 star reviews on both Trip.com and Google. If that doesn't scream SHADY to you I don't know what else would. Oh maybe the fact that they have pickle ball courts, with completely shattered unusable broken balls, 4-5 fireplaces with 3 of them being filled with water to the brim (which leads to competition!!), towels that fall apart when you use them, and questionable restrictions and third party protection on there private WiFi (very questionable). The only reason this isn't a one star review is because of the pizza (there's no food nearby). Genuinely save your money and go somewhere else with HONEST business practices. Stayed here when exploring the west entrance side of Yellowstone Park. We stayed in the pine cabin. It was perfect for a couple and can accommodate a child as well. There was a full sized bed and twin. Although the smaller cabin doesn't have running water or bathroom, there's plenty right near by. The shower/bathrooms were extremely clean and close by. We ordered a pickle pizza from the on site pizzeria. It was good after a long day at Yellowstone. There's also a free breakfast and coffee station every morning. The main office also let us borrow bear spray. There's many options to choose from as far as cabins. The staff were friendly. The price point was great. I would stay here again! read more

The cabins are very cute and it appears the resort is growing and adding additional features and landscaping. There is a cafe that's open from breakfast--mid-afternoon. We booked a cabin for four--two beds in a loft and a queen downstairs. The sleeping loft was up an exceedingly steep staircase and had two twin mattresses and no headroom--one literally had to crawl to the beds. The rest of the cabin was more comfortable with a stove, oven, frig, microwave, small table, sofa, chairs. Our rating would be higher if the price wasn't so much or the loft was actually usable. read more

We stayed for a week in a Willow cabin which has its own kitchen and everything you need to cook your own meals. They provide a free continental breakfast (muffins, bagels, toast, yogurt, milk, cereal, orange juice) starting at 7am. We grabbed breakfast before we visited Yellowstone (about 35 minutes away) or Grand Teton (about 2 hrs away). After a long day of hiking, we cooked dinner in our cabin. There is a supermarket nearby called Sam Patch (about 12 minutes away) and it's fully stocked unlike the smaller grocery stores in West Yellowstone. The resort is also close to Yellowstone Bear World (about an hour away), which is a drive through safari/amusement park/petting zoo. I highly recommend the Blue Buffalo Resorts. The cabins were reasonably priced, were clean, and conveniently located to the places we wanted to visit. read more

10/10 visiting from California & wanted something close to Yellowstone but not in Yellowstone. Upon arrival everything was very clean, well stocked & came with all the essentials for cooking such as salt/peper, vegetables oil, plates, and cups. They had free games you can play like connect four and corn hole. Staff is very friendly, overall I absolutely LOVED this resort. It also had a neighborhood cat that was so friendly and would go up to everyone, it was so cute. The cat was a plus because it was so friendly and just wanted to be around people outside. Lastly, we rented an atv from a guy that has his own rental both at the resort. It was so FUN!!! easy process & again super fun!!! I loved this resort!!! read more

We stayed in a cabin from June 14-17th with 1 bedroom, loft & pull out couch. We are a family of 6 so this was perfect sleeping arrangements for us. It was very clean & had everything you need to cook with. The cabin itself was very cute although the loft area was quite cramped. You had to climb very narrow/steep stairs to the loft & then crawl around to get the twin mattresses laid out & bedding on. This wasn't a problem for our teens & they liked the little "hangout" area. The bedding was a flat sheet, thick blanket & 1 pillow. It would have been nice if the beds were already made before we got there but I had to climb up there & help my kids make the beds. Our biggest problem...so many MOSQUITOES!!! They were EVERYWHERE and we were constantly swatting & killing them. The first night of our 4 night stay was absolutely miserable!! Everyone was getting bit & dealing with buzzing noises all night. In the morning it seemed like they had finally started to dissipate which was a relief. We went to Yellowstone NP for the day & returned back about 5pm to swarms of mosquitoes again. I opened the bedroom door and was greeted by dozens of them flying around. I spent the next 5 minutes killing over 30 mosquitoes!! My husband went straight to the front office. The guy at the front office was kind enough to switch us to another cabin which was the same layout but thankfully not a single pest in it. My husband told him about the hole in the bedroom wall (picture) right next to the bed & thats where we figured the mosquitoes were coming in from. That cabin was also located in the back of the park next to a large pond of green stagnant water! I did use the laundry room to get 3 loads washed. It was a little expensive at $13 & time consuming at almost 3 hours. The washers were ok, some of the clothes still seemed dirty & I wasn't quite sure if they had been washed even though it went through a cycle. The dryers were TERRIBLE!! I had to keep putting more money in so I could restart them for another round. After a few hours of waiting I didn't care if the clothes were still wet & took the last few things out to air dry the rest of the way in the shower back at the cabin. Also, every time I would stop the dry to check on the clothes, the time on them would still keep ticking off. So if you have to wash clothes, just wait & do it somewhere else unless you only have 5 items. read more

We stayed in one of the teepee's for a couple nights and it was a great experience. There is a lot of changes and additions in progress but overall did not affect our stay. The evening campfire was a great bonus and the host was friendly and helpful. There were just 2 things that could be better: the bathroom trailer was not ideal and the store/food was not available. Highly recommend a stay in one of the teepee's for a great family adventure. read more

Jeff, the owner, was great. Nice sites, easy access and clean. We didn't have time for pizza there but I was told it was very good. The only draw back for us was no sewer connection in the lower sites. We would have stayed a week, but didn't want to reconnect and dump. Great place for short term. Shawn if you were truly sorry you would of refunded 1 night stay! Have yet been anywhere on our trip where we had such BS pulled on us. Then tell us you would refund 1 night if we leave now; which would of meant we had to pay for 1 night but get a refund on the next night! Again, new owners will need to learn to be better at customer service then the price of a dime if they are gonna be good owners! Again, where in the heck at the last minute were we going to go! We called this RV Park at the last minute to overnight there. We were able to reserve a pull thru spot. The park is nicely maintained, clean restrooms, full hookups, and dump station. Super friendly owners and personnel. Great Pizza too! When we informed the owners that we had a bit of trouble with our RV, the owners told us "No Problem" in the event we had to extend our stay. Super great find! We plan on making this RV Park a "permanent" overnight stay while we travel between Sparks, NV and Miles City, MT. Thank you!!! read more

For a RV park, I was impressed with the pizza. The Targhee and Ranch were both tasty and had a good crust. Large pies were also reasonably priced at around $17 a piece (about $10 cheaper than what you'd get up the way in West Yellowstone). read more
